Yes, the last Monday night home game was in 1994 against Denver - 2 things I remember about that game was Elway throwing the ball into the endzone stands on 4th down and no time left and Lynn Swann making eyes at my wife (our seats were 4 rows up from the field). The local ESPN radio station here in Pittsburgh has a couple of bozos who bash Buffalo every single day. If it's not the weather or there's nothing to do up there except go bowling - they come up with some other sh--. And they really hate Mularkey - they are so glad him and his wicky-wacky offense are up in that craphole city of Buffalo. I've lived here for six years now and it never ceases to amaze me the holier than thou attitude the people around here concerning their sports teams and their city. I try to tell them they don't call this Pennsyltucky for nothing. You should listen to the announcers on the radio for the Steelers games - constantly trashing the other teams. It all goes back to the 70's super bowl teams - it was over 25 years ago - you would think they would have some humility by now. Plus, now with Rothlisberger around it's getting even worse. God, I wish somebody would beat this team by 21 just to shut 'em up.

I swear Kelly was hurt during the final regular season game at Houston. Marv's book says he didn't play at all in that game. Does anybody else remember when Kelly was hurt - I believe it was a knee sprain.

Its' a shame he is remembered only for this song. Warren was an incredible songwriter. It's also a shame he had to die before he ever got a sniff from the Grammy's.

I think the problem with the refs is that they anticipate what's going to happen - the perfect example of that is blowing the whistle way too soon. I would love to see a post game press conference with the refs so they can explain what they were looking at - never gonna happen though - the NFL will never admit the refs are incompetent.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler and West Seneca native Justin Strelczyk as killed this morning on the NYS Thuway near Syracuse - his pickup truck struck a semi head on. Apparently, he was drinking beer in his truck just prior to the accident.

It's raining like hell here in Pittsburgh. If it keeps up like this all afternoon the drive home is going to be a b!tch.

I might have spoke too soon on this - it's not quite a done deal yet - but chances are it will be moved. Both teams have asked the NFL for permission to play on Saturday.
