  1. Well he said it was best for Travis and the Team to avoid the distraction etc. etc. Looks forward to doing a Practice with another team because guys get tired of beating on their own guys after a while and it would be good for two young QB,s JP and someone in Green Bay Really talked up JP's work ethic and talent but added that he will have ups and downs because he is a young qb.
  2. You sir, are bonafide TD Flunkie. Now pat yourself on the back and go get your man another bottle of water. It's hot in here!
  3. The original post sounds like one of those TD is great, TD is great, TD is great posts! How many gardeners can this guy hire?
  4. Wow! The regulars on this board are far more important people than I ever gave them credit for! Sadly I think Stevestoejam would have caused less of an uproar had he been designated the # 2 back. Wouldn't you? I mean, cash and all that
  5. Um, actually I think that using Jonas who was an FA as compared to anyone who was not an FA and saying it's the same is hillarious. Remember not that long ago, say maybe about week two or three at the latest of pre season last year when your hero TD COULD HAVE GOTTEN at least a second and quite probably a first rounder then and there for Travis? Well the experts then insisted that it didnt matter TD could still get that later on anyway. You know, your Peter King's, your John Clayton's those type of guys that whenever asked said Travis was worth a first round pick. I don't put much faith in what those guys have to say but, the time was right. Last Year! Do you remember those days? I am starting to think that you are the son of satans son or perhaps ralph's illegitimate daughter as you refuse to recognize this! So to recap, it doesn't matter where he was drafted, it matters what we could have got for him. Your hero could have got more back in the day, but not now. So to wrap it up neatly for you, YAY! TD got a third for TH. It could have been worse. Of course in hindsight, it could have been so much better, in that if he traded at the appropriate time last year, he/we could have had a first round pick this year. Do you see this or not? Right now I don't care. He got something for what would have been a holdout. Great butcher job but try to come out clean!
  6. Well well Fake Fat Sunny, others have said it good enough here that I dont have to espouse how it isn't the greatest thing ever since white bread, toasted white bread, milk or honey or even when the wheel was invented. But remember this, he could have gotten a first rounder for him! but Good ole TD covered his ass by not doing it just in case Willis didn't work out. He hedgedhis bet and it cost us two rounds worth of draft pick. NICE play. Obviously if something would have happened to Willis, kepping him all this time would have been the smart play. But then, I guess we could say the same thing for this coming season too couldn't we? The biggest mistake by TD was keeping him when he knew we were not a Playoff team with his other genius move. You know, DREW. (uh, gave up something signifiacant to get him here and run him out of town didn't we) Of course I am using my hindsight as a forethought right now by saying I knew it all along that once we got rid of Drew, we would make it back to the playoffs!
  7. I agree I have been doing all I can to make up for those slackers! But I really could use a few days rest ya know
  8. Only because they let a lot of people go so they dont have to report a crime!
  9. As well as the previously mentioned "Abominable, appalling, deplorable, ghastly and unsightly" I suspecdt he would pull out words like Putrid, disastrous, ridiculous, stubborn, and Putrid, just F'n Putrid. See ya Drew
  10. Yep. Big guy, looked like he could/would end up doing some damage. My guess is he's working in a Home Depot in Jacksonville, Fl.
  11. I love how whacko Sam is. Always have. I wish his vocal cords were better but then if they were, we wouldn't have him and his unique words of wisdom such as this: "He's definitely on track," Wyche said. "Sometimes you get into a car and you and you go somewhere and say, 'I don't know where I'm going, but I'm making good time.' Well, he's making good time, and he knows where he's going, too." Typical Wyche Here is the whole article. It is an interesting read. I like the bar thing at school. http://www.sportsnet.ca/nfl/shownews.jsp?content=f06179A
  12. You must be referring to me. Hey that's great! Recognition incognito Anyway, I would challenge you to show me any unpaid athlete doing a talk show on any radio or tv station regardless of whether they are friendly to the team or not.
  13. I used to listen to the other 3 and now spend a lot of listening to NPR. Too bad they don't do sports huh?
  14. Are they that thin skinned down there at One Bills Drive? Are they that petty down there at One Bills Drive? Are they really trying so hard to be so all controlling of everything including people's individual thoughts? Oops nevermind, I hear then coming for me now. They need to get over themselves. Maybe it's an edict issued from Ralph after Chuck was canned that forever more WGR shall not be entitled to access at One Bills Drive. I'm sure they hate Ruben for coming on GR, doing a regular show and gasp! speaking his mind and telling it like it is. er, was. Conversley I'm sure they don't give a rats ass about the Coy Wire show because, well, he isn't or a'int about to do anything other than tow the company line. When Schopp speaks about these issues I for one tend to agree with him. Of course I liked Puff, Bob and Kevin. Chuck, Bob Mcowan and highest of the almighty, Grapes, Don Cherry! So maybe I like pickin on the snobs. So be it!
  15. Well it looks to me based on the link provided that GR's ratings have in fact gone up. Thanks for the link Dan and Anders. But I go against the ratings increase. Unless there is Bills news, I will not be listening to GR's morning drive. One mans garbage is another mans treasure I guess. My garbage, Bob, Puff and Kevin wasn't good enough for them and their garbage of Howard and Jerremy isn't good enough for me. I disagree again, that management is directing the style of the show. I think they are given a lot of free rein.
  16. I believe the demise of Howard is of his own doing. Not management. I believe the demise of the very entertaining crew that he replaced, was of managements doing. You all hated Puff and Bob and Kevin, but you all enjoyed Howard so much. Got what you wanted now? I say Howard is running his own show based on the feedback I get from station managements replies to my complaints. Initially about throwing away a morning show that was very entertaining and then replacing him with Howard who makes me yawn and now, makes me not listen to morning drive on GR anymore. Much like a lot of you. I would love to see where their ratings are right now or a month from now compared to what they were when they replaced my guys because of low ratings. Can anyone tell me where to see that?
  17. Ya, you should look for some action on Lyle Ave.
  18. Um, I really don't think Willis needs a mentor. He is getting old ya know :-) I am banking on a stud like 1600 + yards from him this year. With or without Eddie George, Travis Henry, Shaud Williams, Garrison Hearst or anyone else they use to relieve him.
  19. Hey. Watch what you say here. If you criticize anyone or anything associated with TD some clown named djfarr00 will attack you lack of football knowledge.
