Could be. But we don't know what the terms are.
Could be we will be po'ed when we here that he signed him for a Billion Dollars though and then we get to see Ralph really get upset :-)

Theres a lot of qb's who aren't as good as KH. Holcomb has great accuracy, spreads the ball around to every receiver and knows how to manage an offense. So What he doesn't have the strongest arm. He's the type of qb you can win games with if you build around. He proved he can play playoff caliber football in cleveland and I'd like to see him get a real chance here.
I dont get the Holcomb bashing. The guy's done nothing but play well when given the chance here.
We stand a much better chance with Holcomb then we will with JP.
OMG Flutie v Jhonson written all over it!
All he does is win

So do I. But why is a guy who we all think has about three days left with us signing him? That doesn't raise suspicion?
-
Stretching the field is unbelievably overrated. Kerry Collins is the prototype QB guys like you look for - except he can't actually play football. Joe Montana couldn't stretch the field and Tom Brady struggles with his accuracy over 20 yards.
Stop comparing Losman to Manning and Palmer. It's not valid.
ahem, ahem, stop throwing names like Brady and Montana out there when talking about Holcomb please.
It is most certainly not valid!!

I am glad we re signed Angelo Crowell, although we don't know the terms.
What scares the hell out of me though is the thought that a guy who is days away from getting axed is signing guys.
The two don't seem to go together do they? I mean if I'm canning someone, he is not dotting anymore I's or crossing any more T's except for the letter that states he has returned his car and will be getting his final pay check in full.
Please, Please tell me I'm wrong
I just cant envision as screwed up as this entire organization is that these guys stay.

I would just like to say to the people wearing orange, whatever. That's what the call in shows are for jerks!
I do plan to make my voice heard, but it will also be heard that I am a loud and proud Buffalo guy!
Remember this is our last whoo hoo until next year and I plan on enjoying it and berating two individuals while I am having my fun. But I am not going to wear orange. I am not a Broncos fan!
May I suggest that if you wear orange in protest, that you also get your face painted red, white and blue?
Go Bills!

Ah yes, WTF indeed?
Tease that he will be the next HC and then lay out reasons why he blows. Hard!
And he should not be mentioned as even a DC.
Meh, I am wasting space and since I was born in Canada, I would like to apologize now. Sorry.

I am going to the game Saturday and sitting in the Van club. I don't care what the weather will be, and now I don't care what the team will be like.
I am done with them until the regime change anyway at this point. They are no longer going to anger me, just continue to amaze me
I swear that I will give the team the appropriate send off for this being the last home game and first Saturday Night game. As bad as it is, how could you not have fun at this game?
And besides I may never get another chance to see TD and say, I am embarassed to have you as part of this community.
See Ya JERK!

I thought I saw on tv the day Ralph came into town to talk to Moulds that he was driving away from the airport alone which a) surprised the hell out of me and b) scared the hell out of me as I was on the road around that time
Can anyone confirm if he drives alone when he comes here?
I can't believe that someone with his money, no doubt private jet, and given his age would still be driving on a trip.
If he was, Marv probably is a legitamate HC candidate given his much younger status.

Why is the Fina tag sticking in my head so much? Did they change the rule somewher along the way after we tagged him?
-
I plead ignorance and drunkeness having forgotten about PP.
But Clayton is the one saying the cap number is going down, doesn't that in turn mean that the cap number will be going up?
I ask forgiveness in forgetting about Peeerless though.
(thinking to myself, idiot
-
This is an easy one. Moulds is returning and just like how some pitchers in baseball like to use one guys as their catcher, Moulds has decided to do the same thing. We will be rotating qb's against Denver when MM calls a pass to Em.
What can be used to explain his accuracy the rest of the season though?
-
That's cool
But I am willing to say Winfield is a better tackler.
Who was our last franchised player? I think it was Fina. It is big thing to do. I . But I am not saying that if that lower cap number is reality, that it wont happen. I am saying if the higher cap number is reality, it wont happen.

How many times did Willis run to the outside this week?
A big difference from last year to this year is where we have been running. I remember a lot of effective runs going outside the tackle last year, along with some stiff arms.
This year it seems as though we are hell bent on running only up the middle.
Is this selective remembering by me or am I right?
Well I certainly agree with you. Willis seemed to be as good as anyone I have ever seen utilizing the stiff arm. I don't recall going wow, that was awesome at all this year.
-
No I don't think I am kidding you. If these cap numbers are correct, do you think someone is still lining up to pay him Winfield type money?
Especially after the year he has put forth?
If you are a GM and doing your homework there are some things that would scare you or an owner away from lining up to dump that kind of money on him.
Jacksonville game last year is one, and then when most guys stand tall knowing it's a contract year, he dies on the vine and gets To.rched, Lit Up repeatedly.
Maybe a TD type is lining up for him but imo, his stock has dropped dramatically.
A 6' something 200 poundish corner who can tackle with speed?
Well ya, sometimes and then others he just gets Torched.
-
I started a thread the other day and then later saw a similar thread and was more than happy to let mine die. Sorry bout that.
But then again, isn't that what a board is for?
Redundancy, over and over, again and again
-
There will be no need to franchise him. He's not worth that kind of money. Even the lowered amount.
Nate will not be getting Winfield money, so it will be an interesting process to watch unfold but remember there is a disadvantage to franchi sing someone, we cant do it again for 5 years I think, not sure though.
So we need to save tag for Willis in two years and then trade his sorry ass for who knows what
Wow think of all the ways TD could screw this up if given the opportunity.

Listening to clips on the radio TD sounds like he is being humble which, we know is not his style at all.
This is either because he has had a miraculous change in personality overnight or he has come to the conclusion that he really will be moving on in a few weeks.
Hey Tom, you really will be moving on in a few weeks. See ya. JERK.
-
So you want to cut him??
Or ask him to renegotiate before he even hits the field because you don't think he will be the same guy??
WTF??
Team talks about future then starts Holcomb

How'd that work out for ya?
