  1. Our most vulnerable? Please give us a list of our most vulnerable are.
  2. If they win 🤷🏻‍♂️ If they lose 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. With the amount of time we spend here I think many of us are.
  4. Hmmmm. I’ll have to give this some thought. Some deep thought. 🤔
  5. Well that’s just odd. 😁 Anyway the whole back and forth on this is pretty silly. Who cares what happened. As a conservative should I cheer if it comes to light the husband of the liberal Speaker of the House was schtupping some dude? Hell yeah. I’d cheer him because at 82 years old he’s getting more than me and good for him.
  6. Let's put this all into perspective shall we. As a believer I assume you believe that God created the heavens and the earth. I would assume this means he created the universe. The universe, to our knowledge, is comprised billions of stars per galaxy and billions of galaxies. These galaxies have been around for billions and billions of years. However you believers feel that a handful of guys a couple thousand years ago on the spec of dust called earth defined marriage as between a man and a woman. I assume this came from God. Why did he wait billions of years to put man on earth and then waited 300,000 to make some rules for man to follow? A bit far fetched and self-serving to think that this is the case. I will leave you with this. To me god didn't create man in his image. Man created him in his image. Now having said that I have nothing against believers. As a matter of fact I have a lot of respect for them. The Bible is filled with stories of love and respect. However when you refuse to respect the wishes of a gay couple that would absolutely love to have a faith based wedding in a church they may attend I just don't understand. Maybe that is just a result of my non-belief.
  7. Of course I don't know that's why I'm deferring to your expertise on glass doors and I'm just wondering why you thought it was odd. What's odd about it?
  8. My conspiracy theory is the Russians played both sides. They felt the could bring us down from within. If so it’s safe to say they have so far been successful. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  9. I’m just deferring to your expertise. You said: It’s REALLY REALLY hard to break through laminated glass. You’d have to beat on it repeatedly….and I mean repeatedly. So he beat it repeatedly. He’s a nut case. What’s so odd about a nut case in SF beating down a glass door? This is the stupidest argument. Is there nothing you guys don’t turn into an us vs them? 🙄
  10. So he beat it repeatedly. Dude was a nutcase. Not odd at at all. Remember where they live.
  11. Have I seen what happened after the crucifixion? No I have not. And nether have you. Do you believe ever story in every book you read? Every movie you’ve seen? It’s a great story with wonderful message. I have nothing against the story. I believe that Jesus was an actual man but the stories about him and the miracles were just that…stories. And regarding if those events happened today? They won’t and I’m pretty sure they never happened then either.
  12. Now the kicker. Proof he was the son of God and not some weirdo. Imagine someone going around saying that today. As a matter of fact you could probably find a few on some streets in every major city. Believe in it? 🤦🏻‍♂️
  13. This solid? https://www.escoffieronline.com/the-man-behind-modern-cuisine-auguste-escoffier/ And I'm just goofin at this point Sherpa......sort of. It came from you? 🤷🏻‍♂️
  14. Well here’s the difference between my “religion” and yours. There is incontrovertible proof the Auguste Escoffier was an actual person. Jesus Christ? Not so much. 😁
  15. I’ve thought about that for years. Why I reject religion. And please pray (no pun intended) tell what would be the political consequences of the government attack.
  16. Ok this may be a really bad analogy but here goes. I’m a classically trained Chef. In French cruise our “Bible” is the Escoffier Cookbook”. It was the way everyone who cooked French food cooked. You deviated from that it was not French. But over time things changed. And we realized that the old way of doings things could be improved upon. Done differently….modernized. The Scriptures are very old. People and society have changed many times over but the way you @SoCal Deek @B-Man look at the Scriptures has not. It’s weird. Just because it’s the word of God (whatever he/she/it is) does not mean it’s right.
  17. Question. I assume seeing it's so early in the snow "season" the ground wasn't frozen. Would the totals be even higher if it was or did it just fall so fast/hard that it made no difference?
  18. I understand but you do get my point how archaic the church’s beliefs are? I guess as a non-believe I find it strange that people cling so tightly to what I consider a work of fiction. Educate me man. If not for love why did you get married? What is the core principle of marriage?
  19. What is the central principle of marriage? Why did you get married? To have sex and not go to hell?
  20. If I lose my SS (which I won’t) I’ll be absolutely fine. See I’m a planner. And BTW I don’t have a “party”.
  21. There is no Thru about them. So glad I don’t have to commute anymore.
