Carolina doesn’t play around and land their QB. The Dynamic Playmaker will be leading our offense. Strong Arm and good running ability. He is the prototype modern QB. Josh Allen and the Bills have shown the league you can fix the mechanical issues he has. We have found our QB for the next decade. Panthers Nation be happy.

I agree. I think they are still further away than most think. But just in terms of the process and plan I do see what they are doing. The youngest team in the NFL with a lot of Capital spread. They obviously are in better shape is Tua can prove me wrong and then use that capital to build the team. If not though they do have the capital to get another QB early. They are set up to turn around quick. Flores and Grier just have to execute. but end of day if they don’t have a QB in a couple years will have a new coach and doing it all over again

Nope he was lower level Rugby. I have talked to many friends about him. Never made the National League and was part of their lower level teams. So yeah he is making more money now.

But it wouldn’t take effect until after his rookie deal meaning cap up. So 50M AAV when kicks in.

He does get a choice. He makes the roster or cut. Bills will put him on the PS with the exemption yet again. He will not be playing football this year unless he makes the team outright. If he would have thought he was ready. He could have left the IPP program at the end of last season. and for those that think being shut down again this year is unfair to him. Let me ask what is the % of players from the IPP that actually are still on teams 53 man rosters? Sitting on PS learning the game making 6 figures for 3 years is more than he would have ever seen in the UK.

Also just sitting on the PS he is making more than he ever did at his lower level Rugby from the UK.

I do think the move back to 6 before draft day and seeing how the board was breaking was premature and maybe cost more then it would have if they waited. It was weird to me unless they wanted to possibly get into a position that could be a nice spot for a QB and leverage that draft day.

but if you have the capital you can get to your QB target area. See Bills executing their plan perfectly to get from 20s to position to Land Josh. as I mentioned in my posting. They did great getting the capital of Tua flops (I think he will). Now they have to to the other part of the equation and execute

Trades will always be evaluated based on the players taken with the picks. What MIA has done is built a solid cache of capital to turn their team quick. Now they have to execute the second part and use that Capital effectively

I noticed this when I just didn’t have the motivation of the past to write up off-season plans because unlike the past I am comfortable with this leadership GM and roster. also I noticed with how strange this year has been my draft prep was really hard due to the weirdness of the College COVID season. Just been a real F’d up year and the way the Bills are set up and run was a pleasant break and I know my temperament if it went bad this season I would have gone all scorched earth on my offseason breakdowns but glad I didn’t have too. And hopefully won’t have to for the next Decade plus. being up against the cap with a 15 win (one win away from SB appearance) and knowing really only up against it because of the reduction is a lot easier to handle than being up against it with a 6 win roster.

The reason it keeps getting extended is with COVID there are no new applicants at this time, going back into th normal IPP Non COVID he would have already been off the program. After he clears waivers. He is not automatically assigned to the PS Exemption part from what I understand he still has to clear waivers first.

Maybe But Williams would have by all accounts, Milano may have (I don’t think he would have but may have). McKenzie would have turned 8 teams down. Feliciano may have and was on record not wanting to play elsewhere so logical to think left money on table. then the Pays cuts from Morse (his center) Addison. It will be interesting to see if Allen Does. 32M per year still sets family for generations and leaves good money on table for good players.

Star will be on the Roster this year. He will cost more against the Cap if Cut. Is Reed and upgrade I am not sure. I personally never liked Stars contract for what he is. He does what he is very well. But think was and still is Overpaid. but with the Restructure and the Opt out he is here this year based on his contract. Only way to save Cap without star is a trade. So Beane would have to work his trade magic again here.

never worried about cap space. It can always be manipulated and worked to fit who you want. I am just going to be watching will Allen like a good number of his teammates have recently take less than Market Value.
