  1. I voted for 41 and always assumed Perot helped Clinton win (Clinton was a good president IMO--quite good until his scandal). But reading that and a few other articles after you shared it, I see that the case for who Perot helped, if anyone, is not clear at all. Thanks for correcting a bad assumption I've always had about the 92 election. I would have said this was crystal clear.
  2. I like the upside of a Quinnen project, especially coming out of the cultural hellhole of the Jets. But the price has got to be lower than a 2d and probably about a 5-7th. The guy has not produced.
  3. Abomination! No no no 100000 times no.
  4. Oliver had a great year last year. The bills now have 3 starters gone from last year’s line and I know a lot of focus is on the interior of the line but our run D is better than most think. Our pass D is atrocious. Our ends get zero pressure and when we do get beaten on big runs, they come when our ends consistently have no seal. They’ve been terrible. I can’t judge Oliver harshly when only he and Addison are doing anything.
  5. Trump was bad when he defended posting the Seal Team body double nonsense and defended it with “People can make up their own mind” but that’s similar to how people post conspiracy stuff here. “I just post pizza gate for informational purposes.” The dog whistle isn’t even silent—just found the same defense you see here amusing. You know why I don’t post discussions about Trump being racist? Not because I don’t see them. I do. But because I don’t find them credible. But policy wise, his worst moment came when pressed on healthcare. That he had 2 houses of Congress and still didn’t get a plan passed. Still has no plan and only vague promises. That was his worst moment in issues that matter to voters. Biden saying he will take a position on court stacking before Nov 3 is likely a lie.
  6. Second round pick for a guy who sits in the bench for 50% of their snaps? No way. He’s worth a tire kick but the rate is a lot lower than a 2.
  7. So you don’t think Klein is the answer.
  8. Apologies. I don’t think he’s stalking me for real and I will stop saying it. Sorry to you for making light of it and sorry to LB3 for saying it. I really mean that. Stalking is serious and I should have picked a better word.
  9. I found it funny that he was active in the UFO thread given his conspiracy stuff. That thread often rises to the top of OT so I see it more than others. Lighten up stalker.
  10. I also found it funny that's the one place I have seen him outside PPP!
  11. Edge control has been horrific. Our ends were sealed on a lot of plays on Tuesday.
  12. This is a b-word move. He shows that he has no ability to help raise a franchise and instead just goes and joins the best team in football. I hope Edwards-Hilaire outplays him and he stays as backup. Except for the Jets game. I'd love to see him go full 2016 Steelers on the Jets. And I don't think the Bills need him. If there's a mid-season top LB available, that's different.
  13. He was active in the UFO thread.
  14. I never looked at DR's 55000 post history for 2 minutes. I just read him on here like anyone because he posted 15% of the content. He was unavoidable. And you looking through my post history for 10 minutes is definitely stalker style.
  15. You banned one guy and people lost their mind. Oh well.
  16. Graham was not alone either. The premise of not holding hearings on Garland was that it was an election year--10 months before the election. That's the word they went back on. They all know what they did but they are acting expediently and coming up with new rationale because it's to their benefit. This is your Scalia was assassinated theory, I assume?
  17. WTF? I got a link to that site and went over and looked and told some people about it, just like others told me. Trust me: I'm not stalking anyone but based on all your research about me, I'd nominate you as stalker. I posted almost exclusively in the Covid discussion because, well, it is kind of a headline. And then got drawn into the discussion DR started about the merits of PPP. You guys didn't like my opinion and literally couldn't even handle my suggestion so you all went ape and attacked me. I didn't report anyone (though many of you accused me of running DR off). I don't have some purpose-driven reason to shut down PPP or close it off as a club as SDS suggests. I just gave my thoughts, which was too much for some folks. You guys go enjoy the alternative. It's exactly what I suggested could happen. And by the way, thanks for casting your judgment on a bunch of people. Nice of you. I commented on DR because so many made him the the topic du jour a few weeks ago. He's gone. Life goes on. I had no nefarious purpose. I was open about why I thought PPP was a problem. A lot of people didn't like my opinion and LB3 has been so kind as to start researching my deeper life, which is not weird at all.
  18. You've got your place to go. That was always my argument: TBD would be better without PPP and the gang could go hang out anywhere. Looks like Foxx and some others started an invision board. Right now it appears to be a kumbaya fest.
  19. That gang is gone. They drop in here from time to time but they've reconvened elsewhere.
  20. The gang who got upset already created their own forum. I won't post the link but happy to share by email if you want it or I can post it if you approve. It's a "Bills" forum where the political posts already appear to be well-outpacing the Bills talk. More or less a recreation of what was happening here but more echo-ey. I'd say that you can spin this out on its own or just let those interested follow the conspiracy crowd over to that place and just shut PPP down. There are a million political outlets now, not the least of which is Twitter. Shutting PPP down or spinning it away from TBD as a club will make TBD a more collegial place. Both make sense to me and I already advocated for it.
  21. She's getting through. She should get through. Barrett is not the issue and never has been. The issue is that the Rs can't be trusted at their word. It's going to create a mess when the Dems have the house and senate and crank up the revenge. Yay 'merica.
  22. There's a rise happening in places that went down, including spikes in hospitalizations. In PA, Covid hospitalizations are up almost 100% in the last month. From 420 in mid Sep to 799 today. You watch hospitalizations because if they rise to a certain point, the entire medical system is stressed. Right now that's not the case anywhere but a 100% rise in 4 weeks before flu season really even arrives is something to watch anywhere. No panic, but watch.
  23. Flores is building something real down there.
  24. I'd put as much faith in that source as Twitter puts faith in the NY Post.
