  1. If it's Indy vs Pittsburgh, the Steelers could have one of those zero punt games. I mean, their offensive line versus Indy's small front 7? Mismatch.
  2. right now the Steelers are driving and they're probably going to win this game, not because they played better, but because their kicker is better. kickers are important
  3. here's what I've learned from these playoffs... ummm... kickers are important... anyone who supports keeping Lindell is dumb
  4. It can't be... otherwise the league would've intervened by now, or the Patriots wouldn't risk it.
  5. here's the teaser i'll be playing: Eagles -2.5 and Pats/Colts over 46
  6. I'd take him over Lindell, of course, but I'd rather have someone with a huge kickoff leg and the obligatory field goal accuracy
  7. yeah but this dude thinks the NFL wants the Colts to win... read
  8. why didn't the refs fix the pats-colts game last year then? or the first game of this season? actually, why were the colts the ones complaining about the refs in last year's matchup?
  9. I definitely side with Abraham on this one. Look, he's injured, and if he plays it could get worse and cost him millions. Of course he sits. If the Jets had locked him long term before the season, maybe he risks it. But they didn't, and that's a choice they made while knowing that what's happening now is possible.
  10. I think he probably is. Remember, Ben is doing things that no other rookie QB has ever done. It's not that JP is necessarily stupid or slow, it could be just that Ben is a once in a generation type talent.
  11. 80-85% of the public bets have been placed on Indy so far... you know what that means... pack your bags for Pittsburgh, Patsies
  12. well, you can't perform much worse than the Broncos have, but I'm not sure the Bills would've been competitive either. Colts at home on that turf are amazing. The Bills have a very similar team to the Broncos. Right now the Colts are taking advantage of Denver's inaccurate, error-prone QB and a Denver pass rush that can't generate pressure without blitzing. That sounds similar to the Bills to be honest. I think Buffalo might be able to run the ball better because our offensive line is bigger than Denver's and therefore we could better take advantage of Indy's small defensive line. Also, our second corner and our free safety are better than Denver's.
  13. Agreed... and notice how decidedly unaggressive their defense was with the lack of blitzing... probably more Marty influence. Mr Conservative loses again.
  14. Wade is a good DC but IMO he called a sh------- game yesterday... Where were the blitzes? It was obvious the 4 man rush wasn't going to touch Pennington... they allowed a guy with poor arm strength to scan the field, set his feet and drive into his throws rendering his suspect arm strength moot... It doesn't matter if Dustin Diamond is the opposing QB; if you're going to allow him that kind of a pocket, you'll get burned.
  15. We expended a 1,2, and 5 to get Losman. how's that?
  16. Exactly... Marty blew this game... again... geez, first he giftwraps a TD by walking onto the field, then to go ultraultraconservative when all he needed was another 5 to 10 yards to dramatically increase his chances of winning... wow When it comes to FG kicking, the difference between 35 and 40 is probably the greatest 5 yard difference there is.
  17. think about how big that Brien chipshot earlier in the game was... Lindell, Lindell, Lindell
  18. btw, this is why Lindell should be cut... can you imagine him making this FG?
  19. the Chargers have made a GREAT subtle adjustment here... in short yardage... QB sneak it behind fatass Fonoti... before, in those situations, they had been getting stacked by running a regular run play
  20. thanks, bro... i agree, f the jets. c'mon san diego, let's get a field goal!
  21. bull sh-- call that I love!!! thank god I teased the Chargers line. Now I still have a chance to win. about the bullshitness of the call, though... letter of the law, the ref was correct... but i'm not sure you should call that on a deciding play
