I definitely side with Abraham on this one. Look, he's injured, and if he plays it could get worse and cost him millions. Of course he sits. If the Jets had locked him long term before the season, maybe he risks it. But they didn't, and that's a choice they made while knowing that what's happening now is possible.

I think he probably is. Remember, Ben is doing things that no other rookie QB has ever done. It's not that JP is necessarily stupid or slow, it could be just that Ben is a once in a generation type talent.

well, you can't perform much worse than the Broncos have, but I'm not sure the Bills would've been competitive either. Colts at home on that turf are amazing. The Bills have a very similar team to the Broncos. Right now the Colts are taking advantage of Denver's inaccurate, error-prone QB and a Denver pass rush that can't generate pressure without blitzing. That sounds similar to the Bills to be honest. I think Buffalo might be able to run the ball better because our offensive line is bigger than Denver's and therefore we could better take advantage of Indy's small defensive line. Also, our second corner and our free safety are better than Denver's.

Agreed... and notice how decidedly unaggressive their defense was with the lack of blitzing... probably more Marty influence. Mr Conservative loses again.

Wade is a good DC but IMO he called a sh------- game yesterday... Where were the blitzes? It was obvious the 4 man rush wasn't going to touch Pennington... they allowed a guy with poor arm strength to scan the field, set his feet and drive into his throws rendering his suspect arm strength moot... It doesn't matter if Dustin Diamond is the opposing QB; if you're going to allow him that kind of a pocket, you'll get burned.
