  1. when yates moves the team and taylor doesn't, it's possible.
  2. Wouldn't know what to do without a 100 page quarterback thread.
  3. Peterman has earned it, up to and including diving into the pile to get his own fumble. Kid looks the real deal
  4. As this turns into a typical game two disorderly scrum it would be good to hear some words of wisdom from the oldtimers
  5. Peterman needs to go the rest of the way tonight. Seems he got rolling and something clicked.
  6. Peterman has what it takes. Find him a back up taylor's done
  7. And with that sack we have seen taylor's complete repertoire.
  8. Got to fix the right side of the O line fast
  9. Maybe we get a look at the future tonight. Come on Nate!!!
  10. OK let's try this another way. The only statistic I care about, as a fan, is wins and losses. Statistics can be made to prove any point you want depending on the parameters you choose to attach to them. A 9-7 season doesn't make us winners unless we're headed to the post season. Objectively I know Tyrod Taylor is a gifted athlete. Subjectively, purely as an observer, he didn't do enough to help make the Bills successful. Don't know if the rook has what we need but subjectively last week gave me hope. and objectively I know you don't throw out what you have without a plan for replacement in hand. The one thing that seems certain at this point is taylor isn't the answer. Get the feeling ya'll think I'm laying all the blame for the team's lack of success at taylor's feet. Not so, but conversely does this mean, given another year of the same performance from taylor you are willing to see The Bills use our draft picks to build around him, because he is what he is.
  11. Would be positive evidence the kid's really got it. If it happens they better begin to take any trade inquiries seriously and be hunting for a reliable back up cause yates ain't it. Again IF IT HAPPENS, sit taylor and give the kid the rest of preseason with the ones. It would be time for McD and Beane to grow a set.
  12. Actually you sorta need to read the whole thing. Stats don't mean jack when the bullets start flying. I guess if the argument is that taylor's performance is in no way partially responsible for the lack of success then let's all go blindly forward comfortable with mediocrity. The only thing that counts is wins, and taylor doesn't "outshine" anybody. (with all due respect)
  13. Because they're going to see him twice a year for the next 15 years. Now it's our turn (I hope).
  14. And this solves the Bills biggest problems. All those picks to put studs around him and shore up the aging defense.
  15. OK, so the takeaway here is that we should just care about stats and don't worry about wins. What marsha does contributes directly to wins. What taylor does, not so much. When the patsies need extra from brady, he delivers. Taylor can't do that. Teams win games not individuals but we need a QB who can put the team on his back and carry it for a series or a quarter or a half when the need arises. Don't know if the rook has it in him, last years Pitt-Clemson game suggests he might, we'll know a little more tonight. I for one, can't wait to find out.
  16. Much as I want the kid on the field this conversation is 24 hours premature. If he shows us something tomorrow then revisit this.
  17. It's that damn HYPERBOWL that'll get ya every time
  18. We'll know a lot more tomorrow night. and that's how it should be
