That's easy. We're rebuilding. Help for the offense will arrive next year. Bills fans, you can either accept it or whine and cry. Your choice.
Thank you. We all knew this was a rebuilding year. The other goal was to get out from under the weight of to dead money and free up cap room.

I know it doesn’t matter. But since this board is all about speculation and it’s just fun to think what if. What are people’s opinions about where we’d be right now
Maybe Peterman would be working at Tops as a bag boy and we would have won the game today.

Serious question...I've never seen a QB throw as many bad INTs as this guy has. The dude literally cannot complete a simple 15 yd out route.
YES!

cut Peterman regardless and bring someone else in. Is Landry Jones available?
Peterman can be on the practice squad since he is allegedly fantastic in practice.
I agree with you. Any available quarterback is better than Peterman. Cut him once Anderson is up to speed.

I hope we don’t see Josh Allen again this year. Put in Derrick Anderson and let him manage the game with this Defense.
At least Peterman sits in the pocket and throws the ball. Allen just runs out of the pocket after his first read.
WTF is McDermott doing?!?!?
Does sitting in the pocket offset throwing a pic 6???
What is this affinity you Peterman apologists have for this terrible quarterback. He needs to be gone.

Hey, Bills are on the way for a better draft pick, right?
Lots of more blame to go around than just on Peterman. Special teams errors lead to Houston's only offensive points before that late FG.
Are you kidding. Yes, mistakes were made, but this game should have gone into overtime. Peterman single handedly gave this game away.

If Peterman is on the team next week, the GM should be fired
It all depends on Allen. If he is out, we will need two qbs. If that is the case, get Anderson ready to start and hope he can finish the game. If Allen can play cut Petterman asap.

Turned to my girlfriend and said “Peterman is gonna throw a pick-six, it’s what he does.”
Two seconds later...
We were all saying or thinking a pick 6.

If this defense keeps it up we may see Anderson soon. Allen just can't move the offense. DC's got film on him and Allen has not figured out how to compensate. With no help from DaBoll.
Anderson will only play if Allen gets injured.

I say our defense holds the Texans down.....
It will come down to if we can run the ball, not turn the ball over, and can make some key throws at key times.
If Josh Allen breaks out (which I expect him to do at some point this season) we are going to destroy the Texans
I hope you are right. I just remember what JJ Watt did to us the last time we played the Texans. Controlling Watt and Clowney is asking a lot from our offensive line. If the online wins this battle, it will be a coming of age moment for this struggling unit.

For this week. Anderson just practiced for the first time yesterday. He can’t be the backup qb in 4 days.
If Allen gets hurt, and DA plays, DA is the primary backup.
Matches up with the original report:
I understood McDermott was referring to the way Anderson would be used throughout the season. It seems that he wants to forestall any quarterback controversy by stating the only way Anderson plays is if Allen gets injured. I don't believe McDermott was suggesting Anderson would be #2 on the depth chart this week vs the Texans.

I’m sure Much has been discussed on this topic - we see it every week - Shady carrying the ball like a it’s a bag of baby diapers, away from his body.....looks like it’s a fumble waiting to happen.
I love the heck out of the kid - but that running style scares and annoys the crap out of me ....
But I also kind of like it! Haha
Seems like the exact opposite thing a back is taught and trained to do.
That being said - Shady has few historical fumble issues. He fumbles 1 time every 119 touches. I read somewhere 150 is elite and average is around 112.
I just find the way he runs with the ball INSANE considering probably all he was taught his entire career.
Go Bills!!
I go back a long way. I have seen some of the greatest backs carry the ball the same way. OJ Simpson is the first to come to mind.
If McCoy does not the have a history of excessive fumbling, then what is the problem and what is the point of this thread?

The Rams win over the Broncos looks like the best lock this week.

Deshaun Watson is still listed a questionable on multiple sites. The line is still at -10 which indicates that the odds makers are confident he will play. Has anyone seen a more definitive report on his status?

Please no more winning ugly. Yep 1-2/yr is okay, but every week to watch this offense struggle, no creativity or wanting to move the ball downfield is makes it almost impossible to watch. 85 yards passing, 19 attempts and 1 TD in two weeks is unwatchable. I feel sorry for the fans who pay money and am thankful I can tape the game, have Picture in Picture on, switch to the NFL network and watch while on a bike getting exercise and reading too.....
Does the Bills front office & coaches pay no attention to the fact that every winning team does it with an offense capable of moving the ball, throwing for 350+ (used to say 300, but 400 now easily done)?
Yep before I get the stoopid responses "Then don't watch", unfortunately the Bills have been my team for 48 years and I will keep watching, however I am now having nightmares of Joe Ferguson and his 15 pass attempts/game.....
This is 2018 not 1973......
I understand your frustration, but I view this is year with few expectations. I am hoping this year is a springboard to a long run of high production, and double digits wins for many seasons to come. Any victories we can " steal" are ok by me. Did anyone expect to be ,2-3 after the first five games? We could actually be at 500 after six game! (yes it will take a few breaks going our way). I am hopeful that the game will start to slow down for Allen and he will have his breakout game sooner rather than later.

This is simple. A Bills win anyway they can: ugly, dominating, overtime, multiple turnovers generated by the defense, the offense coming alive. I don't care how, just WIN BABY!!!

I am hoping for another strong showing from our defense, but it feels to me like this one gets away from us.
Regrettably, Texas 27, Bills 16.
