  1. good to see you as well old friend and a lot of familiar folks from the incinerated bbmb community...
  2. I think this is one of the best rules here. it was a serious issue at the old site. great to see it wont be tolerated here.
  3. I think a lot of that isn't so much a grammar issue as it's a hand held device issue most are using now here in the 21st century...?
  4. that would nearly complete the list, more for sure but the regulars like them and shaw66, who I hope makes it as well. always did dig his posts/weekly game day reviews...
  5. even though the source is nothing more than speculation, you have to really expect him to be gone. sure, McD can come out and say we're exploring all our options before making any decisions but if they really wanted him, he would/will be under center in 2017? just hope they have a equal or better option come the season opener...?
  6. Very cool history here OP read and understood, put together very well. I have a real sense of respect for this site and hope that the migration of former bbmb members will be a nice smooth transition and we as bills fans can continue to express our views/opinions of the team/organisation going forward. thank you Scott and GO BILLS!!
  7. the oldest year/date I saw of a few members was 2000, so it was at least 17 years?
  8. I'm sure they will hear from many. not that it will bring the board back but it would be nice to know that the fans/members were able to express their feelings of them just slamming the door in their faces...pretty classless move imo but frankly, although a longtime member there I turned my membership in about a month ago after enough of the garbage posts/threads and arrogance of some there. not to say this place or any is free of arrogance, hell, I can even be arrogant at times when pushed but that place was getting outright ridiculous... oh, and teef, yeah I can dig me some cake. especially while walking...#cakewalk
  9. wasn't that many was there, especially the last few years. those few respected posters still left there kept a slight manner of respect going but for the most part, it was a hell hole full of arrogance.
  10. actually I had no real problems with any of them. any infractions I received were warranted.
  11. been a member here since 11/2015 so not really displaced but had standingbuffalo close my account there last month. just got sick of the repetition of threads, mainly QB threads and the arrogance that went along with them. joined there 8/2009 and had 15,100 posts and went by the same username as I have here. I am a western new york native and moved south 31 years ago and presently live in northwest florida. I am 55 years old and been a die hard bills fan since the age of 12 and have seen the good, bad and the ugly. mostly ugly but hoping maybe this regime can turn it around?
  12. something tells me they wont put up with the repetitious arrogant posts from the likes of those two or the souless one... good to see teef, always the life of the party...
  13. any direction they go will hopefully be the right decision. does McD risk going with a rookie his first season? can they find a equal or better in fa? or do you stick with TT and hope he can pick up his game from last season? my gut says they move on from TT. I mean you can use the "we're going to go over all the options" but if they were really going to keep him, it would of already been a done deal imo. you may get some trade value for him from the browns if that is the direction they go? McD has a real challenge ahead of him regardless. no rookie is going to come in and be the next Dak although I'm sure there are some that feel watson could be the guy but how many times has college to the next level been a real successful transition for a rookie? I'm not as high on watson and you might as well just stick with TT if they were considering taking him. fa QB? who? romo? could he really make it 16 games? with his history, doubtful. going to be real interesting and wont be long and we should have the answers we're looking for...?
  14. yeah, was going to edit my post. I see it's official. there was a time it was a good place to discuss bills football. I was a member there 8 years and lurked for a good 5 before joining. they're using the reason for shutdown as a move forward with the social media sources but I have a hunch it also had to do with just a big decline in quality of posts/posters.
  15. it was inevitable. it was ridiculous with the trolling and back and forth arguing and no real good discussions anymore as well as veteran members leaving the board. I had them close my (no delete account option so they banned my account) account about a month ago. in a way, I'm glad it's shut down but have to wonder if it's permanent or just updating the board? it wasn't long ago they had updated the forums there? on the main site when you click "message board" it directs you to the buffalo bills facebook page.
  16. Vince Young is looking at a comeback. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000786198/article/vince-young-hires-agent-aims-to-return-to-football
  17. decisions, decisions with or without Taylor McD is in for a big challenge going forward. draft fa/replacing players scheme adjustments schedule it would seem this would be Whaley's last regime carousel if it were to fail and they need to improve in all phases, especially defense. offense was top 10 last season but one could expect changes with a new OC and still question remaining at the most important position? could be as good, better, or worse? I believe the D improves with McD/Frazier/Waufle bringing in a new philosophy and discipline...
  18. I kind of want to see Ragland out there on the field this season. healthy, he is a beast with leadership qualities.
  19. you really can not blame him, to a degree. yes, maybe he should ignore the stuff but who else is. you can blame it on social media/media/forums/technology, the 21st century. it is what it is and trust me, it's not going to slow down...
  20. that's pretty extreme. personally I wouldn't/wont blame them if they quit. why would you want to give 100% when the GM is going tank mode and that is what they would be doing by starting CJ. he showed in the Jets game he is far from ready to take the reins. also, why would a new staff want to risk their first season with an unproven QB or even a rookie? TT is the best option at this point and can manage the offense the next couple seasons until they possibly draft the future in the next couple of drafts.
  21. thank you for your input but to me it doesn't make a lot of sense to pay him middle of the pack starter money if he were to lose a competition to either a 2nd year 3rd stringer or drafterd rookie? I know some are high on Watson (using as merely an example) based on his college level of play but I see him struggling like he did in the first half of the championship game against bama once he has to face nfl defenses. not saying he couldn't be a decent QB, not saying he will be either but chances are real good he (or any rookie) will struggle. that said, I really don't see a drafted rookie or Jones beating out Taylor in a competition and really see no reason to even have one if they were to going to pay him while going forward. just my opinion.
