  1. consistency is everything and they were consistently bad in the kicking game last season. I remember that game, but not who we played, lol. age will do that to you. it was like a 20 yd (or less) punt that went out of bounds. field position sucked. besides defense, priority one, they need to get their **** together in the kicking game. seemed to be off to a good start cutting carp but I'm scratching my head over the punter. even old skeleton face would not of been able to say much in his presser... "we didn't punt so well"
  2. find it odd they brought him back...he really is not a very good punter?
  3. I'm a bills fan. I will and have accepted the decision and hope for the best, that simple. one thing I can say about here is they have a very low tolerance for "crusading" as mentioned in the orientation. so you may want to limit how many times you mention QB purgatory. I think I counted at least twice so far in this thread alone. have a nice day and GO BILLS!!!
  4. I see you carried your baggage over here. nothing new, same old rush.
  5. you seem to be having a hard time with the decision.
  6. unless you have a Crystal ball this is just all speculation as well as frustration on your part. I think he may surprise even the sternest of critics but regardless, he is the starting QB and I hope for the best this season. let the doom and gloom commence
  7. not with EJ sent packing taylor hoyer jones edit:woodberry, lol...gone, cut
  8. I said last week chances were we would know by weds...but what I know
  9. if they want him to hold a clipboard as he mends his wounds, while collecting a check...romo would be a big mistake but he wont come to buffalo, chances are slim to none.
  10. the only position I could see him taking. he's no starter that's for sure.
  11. 4 days. I don't recall ever waiting on deal like this with as much anticipation of does he stay, or does he go?
  12. Barring any last minute snags announcement will be made public in next 48 hours. 30% is high rumors and speculation
  13. just some friendly advice. let it ride man. new surroundings here, time to let the past go and appreciate the opportunity to be here for some good buffalo bills discussion. this place is the big leagues when it comes to discussion boards, a well established community.
  14. roll with the rookie? I could see it but how does it do for the rookie HC? do you give him an extra 2 years to get through the growing pains and the unknown as to whether the rookie QB succeeds? and if he fails, like many before him, do you put it all on the coaching staff and keep the carousel going around? or keep McD, fire whaley and give him 3 more years starting from scratch with another rookie or fa QB? crap shoot, when rolling with the rookie thrown to the wolfs his first year at the next level? I agree though, the schedule is brutal and without any of those quality type of QB's on this team, it's going to be a real challenge. one thing has always been certain with the bills in the last 20 years. QB's and HC's, none of which have succeeded. be real nice if they could climb out of mediocrity
  15. be very interesting to see it transpire and what the end result will be? he is already, or should be, treading on thin ice imo. my thing is, who the hell is going under center??
  16. he and his agent? should he of held out? I just don't see him as the type to muddy the water. maybe his agent feels they can get equal money elsewhere, it's not like it's top money, more like middle of the pack. wasn't it out there that they could restructure the deal to where he would be basically be getting the same salary minus the bonuses? I guess that's the negotiating part but you wouldn't think a little $3 million ($3,100,000 option bonus) bonus would hold you back. somebody is dragging it out, if not whaley and McD, it must be taylors agent? clock is ticking my gut tells me he's gone...
  17. yeah, old whorlnut. quite a few whorlnuts there toward the end. time to put the past behind and blend in here for some good serious buffalo bills discussion...GO BILLS!!
  18. it was quite some time ago that I had a feeling that is where he was going to end up. still nothing but rumors and speculation but honestly, if he hasn't signed yet, he's gone. what's kind of a drag is how both sides dragged it on like this.
  19. same scott that kind of disappeared from bbmb? if so, hey man, long time. this place is cool, cool like a cucumber and a whole bunch of cool members. makes bbmb look like a playpen...what am I saying, in the last few years that's just what it was.
  20. honestly, I see none of those three filling seats. if anything, it would prevent some from renewing their seasons. one head case and two failed prospects wont sell tickets imo...
  21. I would have to bet McD wouldn't be for it as a start to his career as a HC? I would rather they add to the roster through draft and fa and show some signs of contention. seen enough losing seasons as it is and doing it intentionally to save on cap space and acquire draft picks just doesn't seem to be as rewarding as the OP would like to believe? not trying to be negative about a negative situation, I can see where you were going with it and with good intent, just don't see it happening with this team?
