isn’t Green Bay smaller? Or no?
Good point. GB itself is tiny. Only about 100,000.
But their market value is an odd duck to calculate because they are the only publicly held team in the NFL.

Like Doc, on my computer I have to right-click and open it up in a new tab.

Smallest market in the league = smallest net worth. No complaints from me.

If you have a craving that can't wait ... try Charlie the Butcher, they have a great fried bologna. $4.99

If he plays and fails, he will lose his martyr status forever.
Yes. And maintaining that martyr status is very important to him.
That martyr status has made him into a rich man (think Nike contract).

and Joe Gibbs Redskins were also very well run organizations
Yep. The Redskins were squared away, then the owner, Jack Kent Cooke died. Daniel Snyder bought the team and it's been a dumpster fire ever since. Reminds me of another active post today about leadership starting with the owner.

Thank goodness our Godess is Kim Pegula, President of Pegula Sports and Entertainment (Bills, Sabres, Bandits, Knighthawks, Americans), HarborCenter and Black River Entertainment.
She is the leader among leaders.
ALL HAIL KIM.
(note to dissenters: she's here for the next forty or fifty years, so get used to it)

I agree the what-if game is pointless.
But to some people (who eat ranch on their wings) the what-if game is a very important part of their game day critique. I can understand why those people have a dip in confidence.
I eat blue cheese* on my wings and am still confident in the Bills. I'll take an ugly win--and smile.
* On my to do list is to try roquefort cheese; it's similar to blue cheese but stronger

The Bills were one very bad Jets kicker away from a loss.
One could also opine: one groin injury to CJ Mosley away from a loss.
I can understand a dip in the fan confidence factor.

Will they release: No.
Their rationale will be: It's a he said/she said situation, we'll wait for the courts to hand down an answer. Until then, he plays.
Prediction: This unfolds in slow motion and he plays the entire season.

I hope they could just leave their stuff in their lockers! ?
Nah. You don't want to leave stuff in NJ, if you ever want to see it again.

Why would someone hire him after Miami? Crappy coaches keep getting jobs in this league
The owner of the Jets chose Gase because Gase was reputed to be a Quarterback-whisperer who would turn Sam Darnold into a franchise QB.
Problem: Gase reputation is built on Peyton Manning. Peyton could make any QB coach look good.

Is saying we'll be owned by the Jets an over reaction? Asking for a friend.
I'm VERY happy to be wrong. Amazing finish.

By normal TSW standards, this thread should be locked as no meaningful discussion has happened since 20 pages ago.
OTH, it has documented pissing contests of epic proportions. Never seen in these parts since the benching of Doug Flutie...

But the real question is why aren’t you glad the patriots have cancer now?
Beause this was all staged... he went from a malignant cancer on one team, to a benign cancer on another.
AB will not be a problem for the Patsies.

AB will be cut if he farts in a meeting
Highly doubtful.
If he produces even a modicum amount.. he'll be untouchable. It's the Patriots way.

Oh watch Gronk come out of retirement.
Have you seen him? He has lost too much strength since quitting the roids and stopping training.
I'll eat my shorts if he comes out of retirement.

The college system doesn't make enough good quarterbacks right now. Imagine the dearth of quality QBs if it were a 38 team league.
