Excellent user name.
My memory: when it was 3rd and goal, you ALWAYS count on Robb Riddick getting it done.

Very excited about the game but worried about the RB situation. I think Yeldon is much better then people realize and if it was up to me, I’d start him. He can really catch it out of the backfield and is a much better runner then people seem to think. What I’m worried about is more Gore. This guy has 88 yards on 30 carries this year. That’s not a typo. The guy is done. Singletary has 127 on 10 carries...that’s also not a typo. We are blocking people. The holes are there. Gore’s legs are just shot. Strangely this coaching staff is missing that though. Today we can’t sprinkle in the explosive Singletary. All that’s going to mean is more Gore. The only thing about that season that has been a negative so far IMO. Either way, hopefully the Bills find a way to use that home opener energy to keep this train rolling. Get that win. Go Bills!
Everybody has a bad day of prognostication. I guess today was yours regarding Frank Gore.

The impressive part: Knox seems to have an average physique, but dishes out above average punishment. Cool.
Unlike Gronk in his day who came across as a 'roided out beast, magnified by the stupid arm brace he was allowed to wear.

Good to see we have someone here who has seen all the practices. Please do us a favor & report every day so we can know what's going on behind the scenes.
In the event that you can't do that because you are not at every practice, please let the coaches, who see these players every practice, continue to make the decisions without ridicule from the peanut gallery.
Now, Now. Poster dude can make off the cuff opinions, that's the mortar in The Stadium Wall after all.

I think Josh will set up shop and stay here. If all goes well, the Bills will lock him up. Probably a lifer.
I hope you're right.
I hope the Bills could lock him in with contract extensions--never let him test the open market.
For his part, Josh seems to genuinely like Buffalo. Maybe he'll give a home town discount. That would be way cool.

There are many franchise QB's to retire in the next 4 to 5 years.
That means the market to resign Josh Allen is going to be vicious.?

2+ billion dollar franchise fee each for London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome, Tokyo and Beijing someday
The college system doesn't make enough good quarterbacks right now. Imagine the dearth of quality QBs if it were a 38 team league.

isn’t Green Bay smaller? Or no?
Good point. GB itself is tiny. Only about 100,000.
But their market value is an odd duck to calculate because they are the only publicly held team in the NFL.

Like Doc, on my computer I have to right-click and open it up in a new tab.

Smallest market in the league = smallest net worth. No complaints from me.

If he plays and fails, he will lose his martyr status forever.
Yes. And maintaining that martyr status is very important to him.
That martyr status has made him into a rich man (think Nike contract).

and Joe Gibbs Redskins were also very well run organizations
Yep. The Redskins were squared away, then the owner, Jack Kent Cooke died. Daniel Snyder bought the team and it's been a dumpster fire ever since. Reminds me of another active post today about leadership starting with the owner.

Thank goodness our Godess is Kim Pegula, President of Pegula Sports and Entertainment (Bills, Sabres, Bandits, Knighthawks, Americans), HarborCenter and Black River Entertainment.
She is the leader among leaders.
ALL HAIL KIM.
(note to dissenters: she's here for the next forty or fifty years, so get used to it)

I agree the what-if game is pointless.
But to some people (who eat ranch on their wings) the what-if game is a very important part of their game day critique. I can understand why those people have a dip in confidence.
I eat blue cheese* on my wings and am still confident in the Bills. I'll take an ugly win--and smile.
* On my to do list is to try roquefort cheese; it's similar to blue cheese but stronger
-
The Bills were one very bad Jets kicker away from a loss.
One could also opine: one groin injury to CJ Mosley away from a loss.
I can understand a dip in the fan confidence factor.

Will they release: No.
Their rationale will be: It's a he said/she said situation, we'll wait for the courts to hand down an answer. Until then, he plays.
Prediction: This unfolds in slow motion and he plays the entire season.
