  1. There haven't been that many that have looked as absolutely lost and physically overmatched as he did in the limited time he got. I know he got limited snaps. That happened because those snaps were so bad they went out and re-signed AJ Klein so he wouldn't have to play any more LB last year. So yeah, there's a faction of the board that wants us to remember a college game from two years ago as reason to not be terrified. Bernard is BY FAR the biggest unknown question mark the Bills have started in a really long time. If we are talking about an unknown question mark starter for a GOOD Bills team I might need to go all the way back to Jerry Crafts to find one as dicey as this.
  2. Every single college athlete should be required to take a class in finance during their freshman year. Most high schools don't , or at least don't require it, and if you don't come from background where you can acquire that knowledge informally it's really easy to blow through that amount of money in a short period of time. Without even thinking about it, reduce that 15 million figure by at least 50%. Then get into his agent's fee, his lawyer, any houses, cars, jewelry, business ventures, loans and gifts to friends, etc. Hell, it's downright easy to spend 7.5 million over a 10 year span.
  3. We've basically dismantled in-patient mental health care and the outpatient mental health model sucks. It sucks because people who are having issues don't make the best choices and it's exceedingly difficult if not impossible to compel them to participate in treatment if they don't want to. It goes beyond not wanting to. A lot of times it's more like unable to participate because the instability is that acute. Sending out a tweet like that should be grounds to 302 someone against their will for at least a 48 hour observation. In reality, it often won't. Even if it does if there are no in-patient beds available (which there usually aren't) it just means the person sits in the ER until one opens up which can be a VERY long time.
  4. Nope. Another QB. Didnt commit any crimes, had well more than half this board happy to run him out of the league.
  5. You're right, it doesn't sound bad. For what they've invested into it they should be decent.
  6. I'm not going to get into it, but suffice to say it's hilarious to me how many people here are totally ok with cutting Chad Kelly slack, for no other reason than because he's Chad Kelly, but also would scream bloody murder if other players not names Chad Kelly got a break after doing something they didn't like. I could drop one name in here and it would prove my point. But whatever. It doesn't matter.
  7. I think it will be hard to diagnose. Is it him, or is it the overdrafted meatbags in front of him?
  8. Cook will get 60-70% of the work. Harris and/or Murray will vulture his (and Allen's) goalline touches.
  9. Their owner actively stole from people for a long period of time and got away with it. Regardless of how many handies Watson got Haslam is a much larger PoS.
  10. It increases the odds of Dumb Josh showing up. Dumb Josh is a very frustrating person and as Josh gets older and is less able to run around and create something from nothing or defy all logic and reason Smart Josh is going to have to learn how to suppress Dumb Josh a lot better.
  11. There are places I'd rather look for one. If he's stopped being an AH good for him. I doubt that has happened. I know it's super uplifting when the nephew of a famous person gets a million chances in life, treats people like absolute garbage, and manages to parlay that into a career in the CFL. Surely there's nobody else out there who deserved all of those chances. Chad's just a great guy. I'm glad for him. They should make a movie about it. What's Netflix up to?
  12. What if the Bills defensive line is also bad? Who, other than the currently broken Von Miller, scares the other team on our line? Daquan Jones is the only one stout against the run. Epenesa is constantly out of position. Rousseau is super inconsistent. Phillips is constantly hurt. Lawson is a JAG. Put it this way, Cincinnati didn't seem to have a ton of trouble with our line, with a subpar and broken O-Line (at the time) of their own.
  13. I'd love to know exactly at which points Happy Claps took over the play calling for the last couple years. It's happened, they've copped to some of them, I just wonder if we've only heard about it when it went well. Don't take this as defense of Frazier's defense. I hated it and I hate the philosophy in general. I agree with others who have said that it works really well against average to poor QBs. As soon as you face a QB that's willing to take what you give him, and can deliver the ball to the correct place accurately, they pick it apart.
  14. I'm looking forward to the day that he's old enough that we no longer talk about him. He's currently 29. It'll be at least another 6-7 years.
  15. That's Kyle Orton.
  16. So they measure pregame or just during the game?
  17. What's fun is that there are lots of people like me who drink 0 at Bills games so the rest of you are doing a lot to pull up the average. We will all miss the trough when it's gone. It may be a lot of negative things, but it's efficient.
  18. Yeah, we already have one of those at DE.
  19. UB should be winning this game right now. Turf monster cost them a pick 6
  20. By hand for me as a 14 year old commissioner for my neighborhood league. Fantasy football was easier.
  21. Watching him the other day I would have sworn he had two broken hands.
