  1. Good stuff, thanks for posting. All Bills fans want to see 300+ passing games along with all the Bills passing weapons being used, Beasley, Brown and Diggs. Not gonna happen all the time. The Bills still have one position that needs a star upgrade and that is at TE. A guy like Kelce, Kittle. Hopefully in time.
  2. Before some fans proclaim that the Dolphins are the AFC EAST Champs, let's look at their new starting QB. Injury prone, 6" 217 lbs. No training camp so he has had very limited experience running an NFL offense. Against the Rams, 12 of 22 for 93 yards, 1 TD and a QBR of 25.0. Two runs for 0 yards. Their starting RB against the Rams Miles Gaskin had 18 carries for 47 yards, a 2.6 YPC avg. The Miami special teams scored 3 TDs and the Rams were forced to play catch up. Meanwhile the Rams rolled up 471 yards vs Miami offense 145 yards. Tua has shown nothing yet so lets wait a few games before saying anything more. Fitz did have a hot hand and now thrown away like a dishrag he might not have that hot hand anymore. Just relax and wait and see.
  3. First, calm down... The Bills are 4-0 in the division vs 1-3 for Miami and that one win was against the hapless 0-6 Jets. The Dolphins beat SF mostly because of Fitz having a hot hand 22 of 28 for 350 yards, 3 TDs...and then they benched him. That Broke his heart in doing so... Miami is 11th in points scored, 28th in yards. Mostly because of Fitz who is now riding the pine. Miami defense is #1 in points allowed, 20th in yards allowed. The Ball bounced their way against the Rams with 4 turnovers but were outgained in yards by 471 to 145...whoa! Their next game is against the Arizona Cardinals, which should be very telling. Then the Chargers, Broncos, Jets, Bengals, Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders, Bills. In my view it's probably good to be pushed a bit to keep winning. Also, it's way better to be in a slump in OCT/NOV rather then DEC/Jan. The Bills control their own destiny at this point and need to get back to that high powered, high scoring passing offense. Plus, they now have a running game.
  4. Good lord most of the league was so wrong about DK Metcalf, what a freak! Bills defensive coaches must be changing their underwear frequently watching film on that guy. The Bills had better find their first four games passing offense again to keep up with the 6-1 Seahawks. #1 in scoring points, #3 in yards.
  5. I agree, and hopefully more than 3. The Seahawks were beaten by the Cards, while the Cards were beaten by the Lions, Panthers. The 49ers were trounced by the Dolphins and then beat the Rams, Patriots. The only undefeated team is the Steelers and they play the Cowboys, Bengals, Jags, Ravens, Washington and then the Bills. That Ravens game, if Lamar Jackson doesn't turn the ball over like he is flipping pancakes the Ravens win that game. Between the turnovers and penalties the Ravens beat themselves, just sayin on any given Sunday. Buffalo needs to fix their defense and find that passing game again. This past game they found their run game so the offense should be ok. On another note, Funny thing about Don Shula. Once he got Dan Marino throwing so much he simply forgot what won him a championship. That was a great run game. All those years with Marino at QB the Dolphins never had a RB even close to what Thurman Thomas could do.
  6. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- It rained here all morning, snowed as night fell, and in between, the Patriots' 2020 season turned to mud and slid into nearby Lake Erie. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/ne/new-england-patriots Buffalo, Seahawks, @Cardinals, Chargers, @49ers, Steelers, @Broncos, @Patriots, Dolphins. Five teams with winning records. 6-2 Dolphins remaining games-Cardinals, Chargers, Broncos, NY Jets, Bengals, Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders, Bills. Four teams with winning records. 4-3 Patriots remaining games at 2-5 - NY Jets, Ravens, Texans, Cardinals, Chargers, Rams, Dolphins, Bills, NY Jets. Six teams with winning records. 2-5 Gonna be interesting...for Buffalo and Miami.
  7. Daboll for calling so many run plays. The Bills RBs Singletary and Moss who both averaged more than 5 yards a carry. Zimmer for causing that game winning fumble. And yes, Jon Feliciano really made an impact on the O line. It harkens me back to the old days of the Packers, Raiders, Bills building solid over powering offensive lines that few teams could stop. Apparently, pro bowl OG Richie Incognito failed to show this FO the importance of having a top offensive guard on the team. Let's hope that Mongo now showed that. I keep reading that OG's are a dime a dozen in this forum and poor to bad players usually are... Really good OG's are equally as important as tackles, or even the center and building a top offensive line is equally as important as having a top defensive line in my view. The most valuable player on the team is the QB and protecting him and allowing him to perform his job should be a top priority. As well as running the ball to help the offense from being one dimensional and that showed up today. The Buffalo Bills needed to be able to run the ball this week and were able to do so because of Jon Feliciano at both OG and Center. One last game ball for an unsung hero, Tyler Matakevich on special teams who was the Bills player who recovered that onside kick for great field position for Buffalo.
  8. Devin Singletary 14 carries for 86 yards, a 6.1 YPC avg. Zack Moss 14 carries for 81 yards, 2 TDs, a 5.8 YPC avg WE CAN RUN And #76
  9. Every Buffalo Bills win in 2020 is beautiful to me...6-2. Can't say it enough... meanwhile the Patriots are reeling in dismay like Buffalo used to do at 2-5! Now that's some fugly sheet
  10. This was against a hated division opponent and sometimes it comes down to certain things teams can't control...It doesn't matter! It's a WIN and it helps build confidence along the way. We now know that the Bills can pound the rock when all else fails. The Patriots matched up well against Buffalo because their pass defense is really good...and it made little difference. A win, is a WIN, is a WIN!
  11. Devin Singletary 14 carries for 86 yards, a 6.1 YPC avg. Zack Moss 14 carries for 81 yards, 2 TDs, a 5.8 YPC avg WE CAN RUN
  12. On side kick, he effed up
  13. Here, here! The Buffalo Bills 6-2 The New England Patriots 2-5 Gotta love it!
  14. Right now Moss has 2 carries for 29 yards a 14.5 YPC avg
  15. 10 plays for 78 yards and 7 of them on the ground... Daboll running the ball. Love it!
  16. That's exactly what I hope to see all game, the Bills crowding the line.
  17. This is a game against a hated division rival...20 years of domination by New England over the Buffalo Bills. This is a DIVISION game and anything can happen as teams play extra tough on both sides. The Patriots could field a team of newborns or octogenarians in wheelchairs and still win. Like Bum Phillips used to say, he could take yours and beat mine and take his and beat yours. This is STILL the Patriots with head coach Bill Belichick still coaching it. Never underestimate this man until the fat lady sings. OTOH, NE could be in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes and want to lose, but I doubt it.
  18. All very true... The Bills should dominate this years Patriots team and pound them into sand! Except, this is a DIVISION game and anything can happen in one of those. The Raiders went into KC and beat the best team in the league in the SB champions from last season. The Chargers also went into KC and gave them everything they could handle winning 23-20. This, with a rookie QB starting in his very first game and looking like anything but a rookie. 22 of 33 for 311 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. That game was tied at the end and the Chiefs needed OT to win. The Bills need to take this 2-4 Patriots team seriously and not look past them to the 5-1 Seahawks next week. The Buffalo Bills need this game like a dying man in the desert needs water. The Bills schedule is brutal with Seattle, Arizona, BYE, Chargers, 49ers, Steelers in a very tough 5 game upcoming stretch. Not only that, this game is redemption for two decades of domination by the New England Patriots over the Buffalo Bills. The Bills really, really need to turn that page. GO BILLS!
  19. The thing is, they didn't shut down Mahomes. They simply limited his deeper throws to Tyreek Hill by playing safeties /corners deep. So, when KC saw how deep the Bills were dropping they ran and threw underneath. Mahomes went 21-26 for 225 yards, 2 TDs. This was the wrong tactic for the Bills to utilize against the Chiefs and what really bothers me is they kept it up all game long. I hope the Bills don't try the same type of tactic against the Patriots in staying with one scheme. Whatever defensive tactic the Bills employ this week I hope they are smart enough to change it up if it isn't working. On an another note, the Bills have yet to actually commit to running the ball more than once or twice a series as they have neglected it for an entire half last game. RB's much like QB's need to get into a rhythm and the more they run usually the better the ground game works. It also wears down the opposing defense the more they run. Bills OC Brian Daboll prides himself on utilizing that Patriots passing play book. A darn shame he doesn't utilize their run schemes much in comparison. Another thing, now that the Bills have #76 Big Jon back that Bills run game should very much improve. Run the ball a lot with Moss, Singletary and good things should happen on Sunday.
  20. The first four games of the 2020 season the Bills offense was #4 overall because of Allen's passing. The Bills defense was 27th or so and that was against the pass. Currently the defense picked it up and are 15th overall and 21st against the run. The Bills offense is 20th in points, 13th in yards, 6th in passing yards, 5th in passing TDs. New England defense is 12th in points allowed, 17th in yards allowed, #1 in pass attempts against them. 10th against the pass. 12 in pass TDs. The Patriot offense is 29th in scoring points, 24th in yards, #3 in rushing attempts, #4 in rushing yards, #5 in rushing TDs. The Buffalo Bills should crush this one dimensional Patriots team simply by stacking the box and daring Cam Newton to throw. Who has looked out of sorts the last games. Run blitz and knock the NW receivers / backs off their routes at the LoS. Spy Newton and it should be game over fast. That stat of the Patriots receivers getting only 13% separation is so telling. No Edelman and that story of Gilmore "tweeking" his knee might be an excuse when Diggs jukes him out of his cleats on Sunday. I don't care what anyone else says, this is a "must win" game for Buffalo as they face the Seahawks, Cardinals next and after the BYE, Chargers, 49ers, Steelers, Broncos, Patriots, Dolphins. If the Bills want to keep a lead in the division against Miami and take the division they need this win. If McD ever wants to beat Bill Belichick, now is the time. A sweep would be even better.
