  1. The D line is supposed to get reinforcements after the bye. The secondary is supposed to get reinforcements after the two rookies return from injury. Buffalo had Stephon Diggs, and the good NFL teams found a way to neutralize him, so one top wideout probably won't change anything except allow others to get single coverage and get open...maybe? Pass rush or a top secondary are what keep opposing QBs from beating Buffalo, and currently, the Bills have neither. I really like Tre White, but alas, I feel he might be done. What one player could be obtained to put this team over the top? CB-S-WR-Edge? We don't even know if those two rookies returning from injuries will be worth a sh!t? I say CB!
  2. On defense, a team either needs a top secondary or a great pass rush...Buffalo has neither! 8 QB hits and 4 sacks on Drake Maye, and yet Diggs had 10 receptions for 146 yards. This game showed that, while not a bad team, the 2025 Buffalo Bills are not that good either. There are no gimmies, and every game could be a loss if they continue to play like they did against the Patriots. Seven road games ahead, along with some tough ones, Chiefs, Bucs, Texans, Steelers, at NE, and Eagles. 4-1 and could end up 10-7. Meanwhile, the Patriots, 3-2, have the Saints, Titans, Browns, Falcons, Bucs, Jets, Bengals, Giants, Bills, Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins. You tell me!
  3. This a thousand times! Getting beaten on a "rivalries" Sunday night game by an inferior team at HOME. The entire NFL world was watching to see a comedy of errors on home turf. This should have been an easy win... but, alas, the partially inept team showed up with 3 turnovers. Two by Allen and one by Coleman. What I can't get over are the penalties 11 for 90 yards. Undisciplined nonsense. That's coaching, and I've been defending McD and Babich, Brady since the start of the season...no more! What we all watched was not a Super Bowl team, and the Patriots might just take the division! I feel bad for all the fans who wasted their money on those uniforms/colors.
  4. The NY Giants keep losing, and he and their GM are gone! I'm still kind of stunned he wasn't canned after letting Barkley leave, only to see him win a Super Bowl with the Eagles. He must have some interesting pics?
  5. Miami wanting to tank makes sense even if there is no clear top QB at this time. Some teams will want to give away the farm for that #1 overall.
  6. Ravens fans have to be going out of their minds at this time. Look what Bills fans are complaining about at being 4-0. Just imagine being beaten by the Texans 44-10 and being 1-5. All the talent on that Ravens team and stinking this bad? Four first-round picks in their secondary.
  7. His seat has got to be red hot...I just hope he doesn't end up in the AFC East, Jests, or smelly fish
  8. Currently, Buffalo is #9 overall in yards allowed, #1 in passing yards allowed. #31 in rushing yards allowed. #15th in points allowed. Last season, the Buffalo Bills' defense was bad, and if not for that unreal league-leading (+24) turnover ratio, they probably would have lost more games. Now, again this season, after four games, the Bills are +3 in point differential, which puts them at 6th overall. This turnover ratio is something the Buffalo defense works on every practice and is a very important part of their play. Bobby Babich might have some flaws so far, and yet the defense is not as bad as some make it out to be. Let's not forget that he is only in his second season of calling the defensive signals. Right now, the NY Jerks are sitting at -7 turnover ratio, and the Cleveland clowns are at -6. NOW, imagine how the Baltimore Ravens fans feel with four first-round picks in their secondary, and they are 32nd in points allowed, yards allowed. That team is currently 1-3 with their MVP QB out injured. Weren't they the favorites to be in the Super Bowl this season by many talking heads? With a top defense? Today getting beaten by Houston 24-3!!!!
  9. The Baltimore Ravens game was almost a loss. Buffalo beat the New Orleans Saints by 12 points and the Miami Dolphins by 10 points; those are not almost losses in my view. Saints QB Spencer Rattler threw for a staggering 18 of 28 for 126 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. 🙃The Dolphins fared better, but not by much, as Tua threw for 22 of 34 for 146 yards.2 TDs 1 INT. Make no mistake, this is Bobby Babich's defense, and he doesn't miss the tackles or miss assignments, allowing the loss of gap integrity. The players need to make plays while being disciplined, pure and simple. In time, I feel they will get it right and be a top 10 defense or better.
  10. One note, if Vrabel were that good a head coach, he would still be working in his last job as HC in Tennessee. NVM that his GM screwed him by shipping out WR AJ Brown to the Eggels...although one skill player loss shouldn't make or break a team. After going 11-5 in 2020, 12-5 in 2021. His team went into the toilet 7-10, 6-11, in the next two seasons. His playoff teams bowed out after losing their first game. Vrable did have a future HC in Arthur Smith as his OC back then, as he has Josh McDaniels he has as his OC now. His DC has been a defensive line coach for many years in Tennessee before becoming the line coach/run game coordinator last season for the Lions. The Patsies are 2-2, having lost to the Raiders, Steelers while beating the Dolphins, Panthers. The Patriots have both offensive and defensive numbers, both 10th in points allowed, scored. 14th in yards, 16th in yards allowed. Buffalo is #2 overall on offense. 17th in points allowed, 11th in yards allowed. Plus, the Bills are getting some injured players back on defense and should improve on defense. Odds are Bills -7.5. And the game is in Buffalo in front of screaming Bills fans. I think they cover the spread in this one.
  11. Lies, damned Lies, and Statistics! Bills fans have been looking at the stats for the Buffalo run defense, and it's really not good at 31st in yards allowed, 25th in TDs allowed, and 30th in rushing yards per attempt. I get it, as Bills fans are upset about how bad the Buffalo defense looks at times. Let's take a long, hard look at some games. Against the Ravens, the Bills stopped that vaunted Baltimore run game in the 4th quarter when it mattered most and forced a turnover from the "King" RB that had been running through them like a sieve for most of the game. Buffalo's defense stopped them a few times in that 4th quarter and allowed the offense to make a comeback to win. 25 to 40 was it? Want stats? The NY Jets had 54 net yards passing, and the ToP was 38:21 to 21:39. This game was in MetLife Stadium, too. They got a garbage-time TD by the backup QB Tyrod Taylor. Against Miami, as the Dolphins were driving to even the score in the 4th quarter and Terrel Bernard intercepts a pass at the Buffalo 17, and the Dolphins' comeback is over. Then, against the Saints, Buffalo DB Cole Bishop intercepts a pass by NO QB Rattler near the end of the second quarter. Then the last two drives by the Saints ended on downs with Tre White making the stopping tackle short of the first down. Then the Saints' last drive ended with a sack by AJ Epenesa and another sack, which caused a fumble by Joey Bosa. Yes, the Buffalo Bills defense should be as dominant as their offense...sadly, they are not due to missing some key players due to injuries and some others due to inexperience. Yes, the Buffalo defense has looked bad at times, with players missing tackles, assignments, and having bad gap integrity at times. Then they step up when needed to step up. What I can say is I think all is not lost, as some injured players will return, and some on suspension will return. Along with some who have limited playing experience, they will step up to make this year's defensive unit a top ten or better. Give Babich time to work his stuff, and if he doesn't...he won't be around for very long.
  12. NFN, from what we have seen in the difference between Brian Daboll and Joe Brady, is that this HC gives his assistants room to do what they want. Daboll was a passing specialist and had very little interest in running the ball. This has been his undoing with the Giants, as trading away Saquon Barkley to a division rival who went on to use him to win a Super Bowl. How that clown kept his job as HC is beyond me. Anyway, my take is that Babich is working on building the defense his way, and that takes time, considering all the newcomers and injuries. I say at least give him half a season to see what happens before more talk of hot seats. JMHO
  13. Some Bills fans need to remember that this is Bobby Babich's second season as Buffalo's DC. He was promoted for a reason, as other teams were looking at making him their DC. Unfortunately, the Buffalo Bills have had a rash of defensive injuries to several players, including some rookies, which have limited their experience to start the season. McD made a perfect choice for his new OC, and in time, I think the same will be said of this DC. So many up-and-coming new players that could have a major impact in future games. Strong, Hairston, TJ Sanders, Landon Jackson, Hancock, Deone Walker. Just look at Cole Bishop and how he is improving with playing time. I feel it's not the coach's fault that players don't maintain their gaps or make the wrong reads. Have some faith and give it some time. While the defense hasn't looked as good as I had hoped, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The current scheme that Buffalo runs really works well, and if there's one thing that we know, it's that McD is not going to tolerate a bad assistant for very long. Simply look at what happened with the offense and Ken Dorsey. Allow me to reiterate, have some faith and give it some time.
  14. If Buffalo had drafted Worthy, all the complainers would do is B word about his size and not seeing the ball enough. The Buffalo Bills are a run-first team now under Joe Brady, and Coleman is a great fit as he can actually block and catch those contested balls. I love this current offense as it's a tough, hard-nosed, dominant run scheme that doesn't turn the ball over. This also allows Josh Allen to be the best QB he can be in any offense. Just rewatch the 4th quarter against the Baltimore Ravens again. Bottom line is that Buffalo did the right thing in drafting Coleman. Alas, some fans are never happy.
  15. All the hand-wringing going on, and Buffalo is #4 in points scored, #1 in yards, with one of the best running attacks in the league. The Buffalo Bills are not the Chargers, who just lost to the crappy NY Giants. The only other team that is 4-0 atm is the SB winning Eggels. Enjoy the win...if ya can.
  16. Didn't both Tom Brady and Mahomes prove you can with that WR, and you can still win without them? Besides, I kinda doubt Buffalo had the $$ for DK.
  17. When opposing teams play Buffalo, it's their Super Bowl because the Bills have been a playoff team for years now and have the league's MVP. I think the Buffalo defense will improve as the season goes on, considering how banged up the secondary was to start the season. Milano, Oliver, and Spencer Brown were out. Plus, guys are still learning the system, and some on suspension will return. Stay positive!
  18. I dun care how bad they looked at times, it's the NFL and a win is a win...next! P.S We have a QB that put the cape on at any time and take the game over, gotta love it!
  19. Fugly Uni's for the Cards. Whomever designed those must be blind!
  20. John Forcade...in 1989, the 6-7 NO Saints came into Buffalo on December 10th with the snow and cold and beat the Buffalo Bills 22-19 with that scrub of a QB. On any given Sunday!
  21. As bad as you make that team sound, you can never tell what mysterious ways that oblong spheroid will bounce. I hope the Bills play the starters and put the game away, and then start the backups.
  22. This could be a very strange game considering that point spread. Hopefully, the Bills players don't think that all they need to do is show up, and it's a win. No NFL win is easy, as they are professional players, and this will be their Super Bowl...like it was for the smelly Dolphins.
  23. The way this last week went, I expect the Bills to lose by 10. I mean, any given Sunday, right? Carolina shutting the Falcons out...Cleveland beating Green Bay...the Vikings 48 points...Jags beating the Texans...Chicago pounding the Boys 31-14.
  24. Or fire McDaniel and hire a good coach 😄
