Taken a look at Keanu Neal (Florida safety) and I like some of what I see. Decent size (6'0", 211lbs, long arms), very impressive explosion scores (38" vertical jump), ran a 4.62 40 time. Pass coverage - Not a man for every scheme but would fit the Bills well as a strong safety playing Robber coverage. Can pass off assignments from bunch sets well covering the slot. Doesn't look out of place covering RB's & TE's in man. Needs to stay alert 100% of the time, has a few momentary lapses. Run defense - Can be a shuddering hitter. Needs to wrap up more consistently but he's not reckless. Needs to clean up his eye discipline issues, has poked his head in the wrong hole a number of times (and that is NOT a euphemism, thank you!). Late 3rd/early 4th grade. Not ready to start yet and may need time to absorb Rex's playbook but Graham/Blanton would give him time to be eased in gently.

Please draft Reggie Ragland…

So you liked the pairing of someone slow and a scumbag junkie? I knew I liked you for a reason! -
He was the only guy in 2014 that I saw beat the crap out of Brandon Scherff on a regular basis. Probably the backup to Hughes initially. Maybe a contender for base SAM snaps down the line if he can get a bit bigger/stronger. Compares pretty well to Jeremiah Attaochu and Jonathan Newsome. Perhaps I have a type at edge rusher. Got a 4th round grade on him.

EJ graduated in 2003. I was 14 and still intently watching the 'other football'. Another guy that has Reggie and EJ as athletic similarities on Mockdraftable is Kevin Minter (former LSU, current Cardinal ILB). Dropped down to 237lbs in 2015 and got a starting job. Liked him in college outside of his penchant for holding in coverage. Played 88.5% of snaps last year. -

Saw Rodak retweet that earlier. Superb bit of trolling. -

EJ's college career is before my time but I don't hate that comparison. -

Not sure Burfict is a great one either. Vontaze is one of the biggest athletic outliers in the NFL. At the same size, Reggie is a significantly better athlete. Even with his limitations, Burfict played 1028 defensive snaps in his breakout year (2013). If Burfict can, Reggie can. It is hard to find the right comparison though. Dont'a Hightower was much bigger with a similar athletic profile. -
Seattle is looking to trade out of the #26 pick.

If Vernon had a lot of Russ in him, no team would let him slip to the 6th. Short and creative doesn't mean he's Wilson. Not even close to being the calibre passer that Russ is. -
You should see my handwritten notes on guys like Scooby Wright and Shawn Oakman. They would severely test the language filter. Ifedi is a technical mess. He's lazy and fails to adequately prepare. Guys like him aren't worth my time. Edit: On the plus side, he did inspire this - https://twitter.com/Tanner_ASU/status/660143251005898753

I'm completely into the sleeper section of the draft now. Spoke to an agent briefly about one of his clients earlier. Drew Iddings of South Dakota. Ran a 4.75 at 6'5", 290, getting looks as a 5-Technique. Not much film out there of him but he does have a highlight film (http://www.hudl.com/athlete/7444841/highlights/336159386). DraftBreakdown also has 2 South Dakota games up (Mariota 2014, Wentz 2015). Only passing downs & QB scrambles but it's something. Quite frankly, I just want someone else in that #94 jersey.

CJ Ah You. Dude was a stunningly good athlete though. 6'4", 274lbs, 1.53 10-yard split, 36 1/2" vertical. Now the DL coach at Vanderbilt.
-
O'Leary. Has 29 3/4" arms. The 'average' TE since 1999 (via Mockdraftable) has 33.15" arms.

Bills releasing Tony Steward

This is basically how I look at the Bills feasible options at MLB/WILB: 1st tier - Jack, Ragland, Smith (was a 1st for me pre-injury) 2nd tier - Kentrell Brothers, Blake Martinez, Joshua Perry, Darron Lee 3rd tier - Elandon Roberts, Tyler Matakevich, Deion Jones, Nick Kwiatkowski There are solid players in all 3 tiers but impact guys are few and far between. Scheme fit is huge, Bills probably need a Mike type and a Will type. -
My hatred of T-Rex is world renowned but he'll do as a 4th TE if they carry that many. He's such an athletic outlier though, needs to be made to earn a roster spot.
-
I'd be happy bringing a couple in to compete from the undrafted pool. Clay and Dray are the 1/2 guys but Gragg/O'Leary are replaceable guys. If they could secure 2 of David Grinnage (NC State), Ryan Malleck (Virginia Tech), Steven Scheu (Vanderbilt) and Austin Traylor (Wisconsin), I would be pretty happy.
-
2 of my favourites didn't make the list. Both UDFA guys because they've been ravaged by injuries. Jake Duzey of Iowa and Braxton Deaver of Duke. I quite like Ryan Malleck as a fit. Wrote about him for my Shrine Game preview but he didn't play due to injury. Really strong inline blocker with reliable hands, can play inline, flexed or at H-Back.
-
Just watching Germain Ifedi vs Ole Miss. In the first quarter alone, he's not been called on 4-5 probable false starts. Guys are talking him up in the 1st and he can't even execute the fundamental basics of football. Gave him a UDFA grade. He can go !@#$ himself.

Crystal Ball: Top Prospects for 2016 NFL Draft

On draft day, I'll put up a link to my Big Board spreadsheet that I'm putting together. That way, you can argue with me and tell me exactly why I'm an idiot and you hate me. I'm aiming to have 230 names on it. Might even throw in half a dozen kickers/punters for a laugh. -

Depends on how you look at the class, I guess. Not many starting calibre guys for me. Gets a bit dicey outside of my top 5 (excluding Jaylon). -
I think it's a massive shame. He may well be paying for the sins of others more than his own. I don't have any worries about him. Seems to genuinely get that he had a problem, sought help. Accountability that many guys that age won't show.
-
He's escaped a manslaughter charge. I guess that's something. Still a white supremacist piece of **** though.

Probably replace him with BJ Goodson to keep up the Clemson quota. -

The good news? We have 8 picks. The bad news? We might need to spend 3 on linebackers.
