Is the Ralph turning into the Meadowlands?
IndyMark replied to duey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do not get out of WNY often do you? Do you honestly believe that all NFL stadiums / areas attract the same type of population that RWS does? Having been to Qualcomm (SD), Lambeau field (GB), RCA dome (Indy), Soldier field (Chic), and ol Candlstick Park (SF) I can say with some degree of certainty that is not the case. Interestingly enough, some venues even try to ATTRACT families...novel concept huh? Like I said, I had a good time at RWS but the atmosphere was more near pathetic then enjoyable due to the 'audience' you mirror. I am not so sure, by the way, what I would spend on my family would be equalled by four 22-28 year old males in total sales (beer versus food, apparel, etc). But that is another argument for another day. One last note, who will replace you as fans when you age out of the market? My son? Apparently not, because it would be stupid for me to get him engaged with the NFL because he is not welcome at games? That is very interesting logic. -

Great information - this appears to be the attractive alternative I was looking for. -

While I was at the Dolphins game a week back (w/o the kids) I had anticipated bringing them to a game next year so I tailgated (good fun, within bounds but certainly the heavy partiers nothing spooky though), visited the fieldhouse (great kid friendly environment), and obviously attended the game (section 125) and learned quickly how un-kid friendly (to a certain age) the "stands" are. No way would I pay $ to take my kids to a Bills game now (at least in section 125). Almost two complete rows of morons who I am sure were part of the ones that got kicked out this past game. I do not mind defining "Dolphins suck" to my kids when they hear it, but the profuse use of "suck ccok", etc that was shouted EVERY MINUTE got old quick; not to mention !@#$ was shouted consistently EVERY OTHER MINUTE. Again, they pay their money to attend, but wow what an embarassing and pathetic example of bills fans they were, clearly in the minority overall, but enough of them to be hesitant to ever attend a game with my kids. Are Bills fans local to WNY really evolving into that? I hope WNY treats people better than what was evident because that was sad. (This is not to mention the two fist fights in adjecent sections and the uncanny desire for MILF wanna be's to stand up at EVERY song and 'dance' - really one of the ladies needed a pole to dance around). -
I will donate $500 to Hunter's Hope
IndyMark replied to Dwight Drane's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, with regard to this thread one can hold dual opposing views. For instance, I think it is neat that the poster "Dwight Drane" feels compelled enough to offer up a donation, predicated on a teams win accumulation while at the EXACT SAME TIME, I also, personally, think doing this would be completely stupid for ME to do as I personally would give $500 to a worthy cause regardless of an NFL season. Again, good for him for doing it and good for the people who think it dumb, for themselves to do it. I understand you directed the comments for those that judge him, but when you throw something out there on a board like this you cannot be surprised at the responses you get. -
Yes I am still sporting my rose colored glasses and proud of it. Why be a fan otherwise, in fact, if you do not believe you are not (repeat NOT0 a fan. Remember, this is entertainment after all and not life or death or even real life for any of us. Can't anyone enjoy anything around here?

To everyone concerned with naming a QB
IndyMark replied to todd's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, I will play...exactly how can that thought (Bills owe us nothing) even remotely be psychotic or stupid? On the contrary, living a delusional lie that MM and the Bills 'owe' us fans a considerable amount, I submit, is the psychotic and stupid one. This ought to be good....... -

Ditto post #3 & post #5; #5 made me laugh out loud - in a troubling, what if that really happened, kind of way. What a visual.....MM dancing and kissing RW - classic. -
On the subjects of the continuing QB circus
IndyMark replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really . So they 'owe' us then, what, exactly? Sure if we bought a ticket to a game they should be there on time and play and if not we should get a refund but that is about it. While I sorta see your point, they certainly do not owe us anything considerable other than meeting the obligation of a 1pm kickoff. Outside of that they owe us nothing, nada, zippo, jack, squat. Again, the entitlement feeling of fans is way way off base. -
I would line up in the power I right with Sam Adams in the back field alongside Shelton and Willis as the tail. Lead Sam between C and RG, Shelton to follow, and Willis to follow. Try that two times in a row, if it does not score then JP bootleg and if that fails then I run a flea flicker

Bingo Bingo Bingo.....we have a winner. You (and I am sure you did not even realize it) have answered your own question. MM is talking to the certain people in the media like imbeciles because, by and large, those certain people are. And he is purposely responding a certain way because it IS VERY VERY annoying to those people. Honestly, don't you talk to certain people a certain way? We all do, I know when I am asked a dumb question by an even dumber person that is "fishing" I purposely think of the absolute least worthy answer and go with it. Kind of a verbal sparring. The way MM talks to the media and how he reports out injuries is so not worthy of consideration. Though I am a big fan of his for how does handle himself with the media. Seriously, why does MM have to earn the medias respect? For you, why is it not the medias responsibility to earn his respect? Again, the Bills, TD, or even MM owe us "fans" absolutely nothing, nada, zippo, squat, jack, etc. Why some people think they can control another person is sad. Very sad. -
Yea, what AD said.

Today's posts ABSOLUTELY prove Bills fans here are
IndyMark replied to IndyMark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh great, someone actually reads the dictionary here at TBD. Next are you going to ask me to put into full context "fickle". Ok, so I will....undulating between love and hate of the Bills and the people that make the Bills an organization on a week to week, day to day, hour to hour basis. So I stand by my assertion and also do not think I am fickle. Why? Because I still am a fan of the team regardless of who puts the jersey on to play whatever position. No erratic changeability here. Nice try though - you made me think....... slightly. -

What is the job description of a 'back up' quarterback? To only replace the quarterback if injured??? Nice try - your logic is bull sh--. -
People here will never be happy...always look to complain first and find the negative in everything (outside of WNY it is called the Buffalo Complex). I have a life size picture of this board being equally negative if TD did NOT sign KH and the season went like it is currently and people here would be saying "Jesus TD why did you not sign a veteran back up to replace a slow starting JPL?" Think back this offseason when KH was signed, did you think it was only to replace JPL if injured? No. KH is an alternative - Having KH on the roster gives the coaches the latitude to replace the QB. I think it is great to tell JPL to sit and watch - there can only be upside to this move. Anyone that thinks this is going to 'mess' with JPL is clueless. IF JPL cannot handle this he DOES NOT belong in the NFL period. Big deal you are asked to sit in favor of a veteran - if you can't handle being a millionaire in that instance you are in the wrong profession. To the poster that thinks the Bills 'lied' to us fans - again, you are a bit to self centered and your well intentioned interpretations are wrong. To the poster who thinks 'the Bills are not making the playoffs anyway" Can you read the standings??? 9-7 wins the AFC EAST this year and that is NOT outside of the Bills reach. To the posters who thought the D would be wasted on this young qb, then you MUST love this move. Maybe it will motivate the DEFENSE to finally !@#$IN show up for a game this year. Again, I think this move will attract more than detract and I love the move (if it even happens) - I am coming up to WNY this weekend for the game and am excited to see how it pans out. I am all about the Bills winning whoever plays -

Why a timetable for Roscoe's injury now??
IndyMark replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With all due respect (seriously), if I really thought about your issue with injury reporting and then thought about a rebuttal to your statements / accusations and then posted my thoughts , it would, by default, explicitly validate your commentary. Quite candidly, your original thoughts and premise are not worthy of debate. In fact, if that is the level of dialogue that determines a high standard of football fandom, call me a non-fan of football. It is weak to call out MM on his injury reporting practices. He is a head coach of an NFL team that is 1-2 and losing ground. Giving injury reports is about 1006th on his list of to do things. If you pick that apart, you have way way too much time on your hands and the time you have is greatly misdirected. That is a fact (considering you did not see facts in my previous two posts, there it is - fact number one: complaining about MM's injury reporting equals poor time management in life). Cause and effect. -

And your insight provides....<insert grasshoppers chirping about now>...we are waiting. Please o' brilliant one, self annoited NFL expert, tell us what you bring to the table regarding enjoying football? Not one thing - get over yourself sweetie - -

IndyMark replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nor should you (understand the secrecy). Who the hell are you that the Bills need to placate? For that matter who are we collectively at TBD that the Bills need to be held accountable to? We are NOT, contrary to what some knuckleheads here think, the complete 'stakeholder' that represents joe fan. As such, MM and the Bills can do as they please and keep us totally out of the equation. The NFL is an entertainment industry - either enjoy it or avoid it, but why B word? Oh that is right, because that is your right, blah blah blah .... just go vomit over yourself and be done with it.
