  1. Yes he should and word was they really like Prescott and would have taken him so I think they are good talent evaluators.I don't even think they whiffed on EJ he has more talent than anyone else in that draft class and they were forced to take a qb that year.Combine that with him being forced to play and them reaching a bit for him out of fear you have this perception that Whaley sucks...he doesn't at all and I have a lot of faith in our scouting dep. and front office
  2. I can agree with this for sure.We are not as deep as last year in some positions but others more so for instance DL(interior ),DB,and even OL I feel better about
  3. It seems like people that constantly say that we have a lack of depth don't follow any team except the Bills. If you only follow the Bills you have nothing to compare it to and feel we lack depth, that and in the back of your mind you know our draft class is injured.Every team has sustained injuries and because of the cap every team lacks proven depth at one position or another. As far as the people that hate Wailey it's the same narrow minded short sighted thinking all you people see is the missed players in the draft... every team misses some no one's perfect.I like what Wailey is doing and like our roster and most of all love the fact that we actually sign our draft hits unlike previous regimes where we draft a guy he turns out to be a stud and we trade him.Do you guys not remember the 2000's?...how unexciting this team was to watch and how frustrating the few drafted players we hit on got traded away for a hand full of beaded necklaces!?
  4. I'm pretty sure you meant to post this in the bold prediction thread!?
  5. Yes he was a second round pick for the Titans some said he was the next Randy Moss when drafted....never panned out.All the physical skills just never could put it together.
  6. It seems to me the people that bash McCoy just look at box scores and not the actual game and how many chances he has gotten/also don't take his injury into account.Hell if he was injured last year and looked that good he is going to be a monster this year. For the guy who is saying McCoy is our second best receiver you still have to sit at the kids fold out card table bro...maybe some day when your all growds up you can sit at the big table and have a real educated opinion and conversation with the adults.
  7. I personally would like to see them kick the tires on Hingle McCringleberry he is a heady player with good instincts and a high football IQ
  8. baaaaahaha I almost didn't watch it because I've seen this clip so many times but I'm glad I did...nice job bro...how have I never seen that?
  9. serious question I would too duh but would you do it now before the season with him being the best realistic option at qb to win if tt god for bid goes down in a couple games?TT is very likely going to miss at least one game most qbs do it could be the difference in a 16 year drought and 17.
  10. Sacrificial lamb...poor basted he's going to be taking grenades with that back up oline...it's like paying a shmuck off the street to fight Tyson in his prime if the contender got hurt the week of the fight smh
  11. Like uninformed like someone that posts on a thread without reading it lol
  12. don't look at the stats and box numbers in preseason trust your eyes man..He looks fast I recall him splitting two defenders I think in the Giants game they looked like they were in tar..I think he will look better once Roman gets creative I don't think people realize how over the top Romans run blocking schemes are in terms of complexity and another year in that system with the oline?!...just sayin
  13. For me personally I feel like I have it easier than the black version of myself as I reflect on my life using honesty and logic in imaginative hindsight.
  14. As for Mccoy he looked good last year and he was hurt with limited opportunities shoot he looks flat out on turbo in this preseason so far and he stated he "just wants to stay healthy for the regular season"I'm excited as for Reed if you read stuff like Astros notes where he states he always has players around him asking questions and looking up to him.I think it provides a direct pipeline between the players a real superstar hall of fameer giving that defencive scheme credibility and not some fat old coach saying it works....it's freaking Ed Reed bro....Ed freaking Reed
  15. This is a really interesting thread and the fact that this discussion is going on is healthy. Some of you guys make some amazing points and I thank you for helping me see different inteligent perspectives on this topic....now conversely if you look up Collin Kapernick and squint you might see Squidward.
  16. Interesting that a Nation that built it riches and power on the backs of slaves and gained it's lands by stealing them from natives has given those groups and the rest of us the right to voice our opinions about race and injustice.Quite ironic actually and Kap has this right but to what end I would ask him and does his action help or hurt his cause? This topic is best to be looked at with questions and reflection rather than absolutes.....on a separate note if you look up squidward from SpongeBob and squint you can see Collin Kapernick I swear.
  17. wow good info.If u knew that without looking it up I bow to your knowledge of the pig skin...hell even if u looked it up its impressive
  18. Let's say Hogan is JAG for the sake of argument and gets open on 25% of his routs (I made this up just hypothetical)with an average JAG qb or a qb that throws below league average like ours and he only catches x amount of balls. Now you put JAG Hogan on a team where his qb sees him open on almost all 25% of his open routs and throws far over the league average a Boom JAG becomes not freaking Wess Welker but more than JAG.Now he is a reliable guy that gets a lot of opportunities.
  19. Dear OP I think your......FREAKING AMAZING I love reading part one and two it's like your inside my head yet we have never met.Your words read like a novel second only to Astros camp notes.I can only describe it as soft core Bills porn.I second all your points and analysis and have mentally awarded you my version of the Nobel prize for journalism.Dude if you ever get to west Palm Beach I have the NFL package and beers....Here's to optimism and intelligence(insert little beer drinker emoji I can't access from my mobile)
  20. lol he got u on that...look how he spelled it.. I get that Hogan is a different type of receiver than Welker that's true but I think he does really well in NE.He is more reliable than some on this board give him credit for and he stays healthy. The reason he was a bubble guy for so long was because he was learning the trade. He after being blessed by saint Doug and the like is now a bona-fide WR and NE will reap the rewards of ours and miami's coaching and training...sucks
