I did see a clip of him on the news today w/o pads and he does look to be in great shape. I liked the pick when they made it because he had the talent and the intangibles by many accounts. His coming into camp this year lighter, leaner, and stronger could result in a major jump in play. Im predicting a ten plus sack year for Shaq. Pretty sure this is the kind of guy Mcdermott and Beane want on this team. Ill take character and passion ahead of talent 24/7. Character, passion, and talent usually means a probowler.

Injuries arent. Just sayin. No doubt he has tremendous talent and could be a dominant receiver with above average QB play but the injury question is a fair one and this season will go a long way in determining if hes here long term. If hes healthy most of the year I would think 90 plus catches for 1300 plus yards and ten plus tds is in the ball park. Zays getting good reviews early. With a healthy Sammy the WR group has the potential to be a strength of this offense. We shall see.

I dont see a rebuild. Fix the d and you have a shot at the playoffs barring a string of injuries. Darby needs to rebound and the d-line needs to dominate. Sounds like Shaq Lawson is ready to make a big step forward.

Glenn admitted he injured his ankle twice last year. He was in a walking boot in the offseason and is being eased back in this training camp per the coaching staff. Not a real stretch to conclude the ankle was a problem last year.

Which comes from the fans. Who spend their money on tickets, etc. Which ultimately pays player salaries. Which gives fans every right to be critical.
