  1. Need to add last name to title lol. Thought this was about Garappalo (sp?)
  2. I live in Philly and got to watch him try to hold onto throws. He sucks at pass catching. Pretty good at other things. Not pass catching. If you wanna base your opinion off those stats (which really aren’t that great) that’s your prerogative.
  3. If you really like Aiyuk that is ok. Receiver is a skill position that requires a lot of reps to learn the type of things needed to do them consistently. Maybe he can learn but their are a lot of talented players who never did when they got in the league and did not make it. Aiyuk’s physical skills make him worth a good draft pick. I just don’t think the physical skills are good enough, combined with how raw he is to warrant a first round pick. But I’m certainly no pro scout.
  4. Every WR has their share of drops but Jeudy knows how to play the receiver position. Aiyuk is still learning, after transferring from JUCO, how to place his hands and how to position his body to make good catches each time. To me that makes him a project, and one that would be better drafted after the first round.
  5. Aiyuk is very talented, and good with the ball in his hands. A few too many drops to be a first rounder imo
  6. Higgins has his flaws and their are better prospects imo but he probably has the best hands in this draft...and we were plagued with drops the last two years.
  7. Really talented player. I think he wants his contract re-done, so we would have to give him new guaranteed money like when we got Shady. We are getting close enough to really contending that it may be worth it if it’s just a 2nd round pick
  8. Honestly, hope the guy can step away from football. The number of concussions he has had is dangerous. so no.
  9. I think that is biggest for Gandy-Golden. A lot of concerns coming into this week about his speed. I’m going to guess he will excel in the actual game on Saturday. He was dominant for Liberty the last several years.
  10. Totally agree, he drops too many passes. I actually would have him as a day 3 pick. Impressive physical ability and i think he can refine his game with more practice...he is only a few years out of JUCO...but too many red flags to draft highly.
  11. Of all the big names, give me Conklin. Just him and I’ll be really happy. Single best thing we can do for Josh is to finally protect his right side.
  12. As an OSU fan, how do you feel about Dobbins? I’d like it if the Bills got a RB that can really pass block like Freddy used to to give Allen that last line of defense. From what I’ve seen (limited), Dobbins has gotten pretty good at that this year.
  13. Chaisson showing up too. So many exciting players in this game
  14. J’Marre Chase is one heck of a receiver. Jefferson is good, Chase is another level. So good at releasing from CBs initially and down the field. Early first rounder next year.
  15. By far Higgins, has THE best hands in this draft. His form is just great and always snags the ball with his hands, never lets it get into his body - which would be nice considering how many drops our WRs had. His catch radius is also very nice as not only is he around 6’4’’, but he also has great flexibility. He is not the fastest WR, but he was able to get behind secondaries pretty consistently at Clemson. To me he has the ability to be a DeAndre Hopkins type of receiver, which we saw first hand how that has helped DW. Even in the Orange Bowl where he was matched up with Okudah who is gonna be a really good pro, he got over him for a touchdown. From what I’ve seen so far, I think he is WR1 in this class (Which is deep but I don’t think has an elite talent at the top) and should fall right where we will be drafting as of right now.
  16. This year, we should really try to take a play out of the Eagles 2017 run. We have Josh cost controlled for another two years, spend in FA, send some future mid round picks to teams for players on the last legs of their rookie contract. DJ Moore would be great if we can get him at a discount. He was a first round pick a few years ago, I’d expect we would have to give that up to get him. Anything less and I’d do that in a heartbeat.
  17. If all we do is get Conklin, it will be a great FA. Keep Josh protected!!
  18. I was disappointed with the Singletary pick last year because I was worried he would be too small and slow and I wasn’t sure he could catch well and man was I wrong! Great pick Beane! I think another mid round pick in rounds 2-4 to pair with Motor is one of the best ways we can use our draft picks. For those 8 carries that Gore wasted in the wildcard game. I love Edwards-Helaire as a runner and pass catcher. Etienne’s speed is electric and something we don’t have out of the backfield right now. Lots of options and I trust Beane to make the right choice.
  19. I think Knox did ok for the situation he was put in but I really don’t expect him to be a top TE. He reminds me of Vance McDonald and I think if he has a career like that he has done pretty well for himself. As far as Free Agency goes, I’m all for getting rid of Kroft and Lee Smith for the cap space. I am not a big fan of going after a Hooper or Henry, even the best Tight Ends of recent memory have struggled changing teams (Graham, Julius Thomas...Charles Clay lol) I think we would be better off with some inexpensive free agents (Ricky Seals-Jones, Darren Fells) and keep taking lottery tickets in the draft between rounds 2 and 7. If everything checks out with Cheyenne O’Grady off the field, I’m a fan of how he plays on it
  20. McCarthy is an alright coach. Yes he had Rogers in his prime and only got 1 SuperBowl, but he also had to deal with the Packers and their lack of willingness to spend in free agency. He will never have that problem in Dallas. in other words, I expected worse for the Cowboys
  21. Totally agree he would be FA#1. Conklin is a great RT and still young. Tenn has Tannehill and Henry they have to re-sign and about $57 million in cap space. It might be tough to pry him away but as long as they use the tag on one of the others, we could outbid them and finally solve our revolving door at RT and save Josh.
  22. Right now, I think Spain is the only FA I would prioritize. Sounds like he won’t be too expensive and he has been good for us this year. Phillips and Shaq played well this year but they are not big time difference makers and right now it seems like their expected paydays might be pricey. Think we can get similar impact with cheaper players at their position especially with Harrison Phillips coming back next year. The Dream would be to upgrade our RT with Jack Conklin we have to get that position stabilized with a good player, DE with Yannick Ngakou, CB/S depth with Will Parks, CB with a short deal for Chris Harris (not much available in CB for free agency though we desperately need an upgraded #2), find some better LB depth than what we have, then either a trade for a WR like Mike Evans or doing the flyer on a short deal for AJ green. We have the money to do all that. That’s what I’m looking forward to and hoping for now, after yesterday.
