  1. I went to Fordham, the football program is a complete joke. It only went D1 in 1989 and in that stretch had 2 good years, the rest of have been mediocre (including Skelton's last couple years) and have had some 0 win seasons in there. They play in the Patriot League against and ivy league type teams and often get their rear handed to them. I'd say chances are slim that Skelton is much more than a long term project. Another recent Fordham QB, Kevin Eakin, got a lot of press and bounced around the NFL (including Buffalo) practice squads and never amounted to anything. Fordham was once on par with Notre Dame (Vince Lombardi played there, played in Bowl games, even the St. Louis Rams are actually named after the Fordham Rams who were originally the Cleveland Rams) but that legacy is dead. I'd say pass.
  2. Babe Ruth hit over 700 home runs while being fat and drunk most of the time...just sayin....
  3. This was actually sent by a very anti-war liberal friend who hates Obama for not being liberal enough. This is transparency huh? "President George W. Bush's longest stretch between prime-time, nationally televised press conferences was 214 days, from April 4 to Nov. 4, 2004. Mr. Obama tops that record on Monday, going 215 days - stretching back to July 22, according to records kept by CBS Radio's veteran reporter Mark Knoller." Which many don't count as a real presser as it was short and impromptu. http://washingtontimes.com/news/2010/feb/2...=home_headlines
  4. I had to stop watching when he started crying about mama, but nobody is home upstairs. The good thing about him is that I bet folks will be a little more scared to attack senior citizens in the future.
  5. IMO he knew the future and wanted to create a fad diet....the Ghand-EAT NOTHING.
  6. The guy was a nutjob, and sounds a hell of a lot more like a anarchist than a right winger. If you're going to group him in with Tea Baggers, then you need to group Bin Laden in with liberals since his last tape shared many of the same arguments as them (blame Bush, America is causing global warming, global warming is settled science, praised liberal activist Noam Chomsky, corporations are bad, etc) Do I believe Bin Laden is a liberal? No, he's a psychotic murderer and that's the only label he deserves, same as the Austin guy who attempted to murder innocents. Anybody that tries to argue different either has an agenda or is an idiot.
  7. I actually saw one of these signs a few weeks ago driving through NJ...it was a metal/permanent looking sign. Of course there were a bunch of orange cones around and nobody working.
  8. The extremes actually now hate Obama, they think he's the 2nd George W Bush....that's how nuts they are.
  9. One of the best articles I've read in awhile: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405...0491303964.html Whole thing argues this final point: "Can Mr. Obama still make a mid-course correction, a la Bill Clinton after 1994? Of course he can. What we don't know is whether he has the political instincts and nerve to do so. As a creature of Chicago politics and the legal class, he has lived his entire life in precincts dominated by the political left. On the other hand, he says he is not "an ideologue." Americans have already sent one rebuke to Democrats in the form of Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts. Now Mr. Bayh, a senior Member of their own party, has sent another by skipping town and putting another Senate seat in play. Our guess is that it will take one more repudiation in November before Democrats relearn that you can't govern America successfully from the political left."
  10. Just signed up and sent his first Tweet, only 600 people following so far... This should be interesting: http://twitter.com/PressSec
  11. We Are the World should have been buried with Michael Jackson, and the "stars" of today should have made an effort to sing something original instead of ripping off another generation's idea and ruining it. First The Karate Kid remake, now this. And what the hell is Jeff Bridges doing in there?
  12. New link http://www.ishatonu.com/2010/02/12/luge-ac...r-video-linked/
  13. Pretty cool... http://www.usdebtclock.org/
  14. Mitch Mitchell.....hidden behind Jimmy Hendrix.
  15. Meh.... Here's us Bills fans after a game winning kick 2 years ago, regular season: And another: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K42QsW3sNq0&NR=1
  16. Gibbs takes shot at Palin http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/09...hand-jab-palin/ To me this is a little beneath the office of POTUS.
  17. Boy....you post something angry when you're drunk and it blows up when you go to sleep. Yeah, I probably overreacted....
  18. Do you even know what Twitter is? Its one of the most powerful tools on the internet and in the world today, and its "following twitters of somebody you don't know"...seriously dude...you just look dumb and out of touch.
  19. Not saying he's bust yet....but here's my point: My boss just fired a new guy at work. The guy had a lot of promise and potential, but after a couple weeks just wasn't getting the job done. My boss said that every time he asked the guy how he was doing, the guy acted arrogant and said he was doing great and the guy even started spending money trying to impress people like buying lunch. My boss said If the guy would have admitted he was having trouble and needed help he would have worked harder to get him more time. Same with Maybin...the guy doesn't get that nobody cares about his haircut, Arrington, what he did in one year at Penn Statem or his partying. What eveybody cares about is that he couldn't get playing time and was the only high draft pick that couldn't start a game this year on a terrible team. Its time to show humility and be humble, not act like a celeberty. Hell...Levitre asks for bar recomendations but is at least low key about it....and actually earned playing time.
  20. Ha...that's like saying don't watch the news if you don't want to hear about Lynch's legal problems. Maybin cares more about image and being thought of as a football player...than being a winner. Ryan Leaf to a "t"
