  1. I mean at the end of the day it's personal preference. I'm much more comfortable with the late day 2-mid day 3 guys this year than I am the top 4. I'd appreciate a shot at Cardale, Allen, or Doughty in the round 3-5 range
  2. My money's on Fitz to Denver, Kaep to Jets, and Niners drafting whoever is leftover from Cleveland
  3. I'd prefer the 1st round pick goes to a player who can be an immediate contributor to the team than a shot at a player who won't see the field this year and is likely to never develop into a quality starter, especially in a year where offensive talent coming out is lackluster. I'm also not convinced he will go in the first round.
  4. That GM was so embarrassed that he stepped down right after.
  5. We can always draft Tyvis Powell. That's basically the same, right?
  6. It's so funny that you think either of those numbers is from the qb and the qb alone. Passing stats are based heavily on scheme. Tyrod played in 2 fewer games than Fitz and attempted 182 fewer passes than Fitz. Fitz: 562 Att, 3905 Yards, 31 TDs, 15 INTs Taylor: 380 Att, 3035 Yards, 20 TDs, 6 INTs If you scale Tyrod up to Fitz's attempts (unreasonable) his stats are 4488 yards, 29.5 TDs, 9 INTs If you scale Fitz down to Tyrod's attempts his stats are 2640 Yards, 21 TDs, 10 INTs All in all your base of criticism for people who appreciated what our QB did and call Fitz a backup is simplified to the point that it makes no sense. There are many many factors involved in both TDs and Wins besides the QB himself. But hey, let's consider the QB in a vacuum. Makes sense.
  7. Still not really a fan of this pick. FWIW, still on the board at 19: Noah Spence Jarran Reed Emmanuel Ogbah
  8. You realize that rushing TDs count too, right? The Jets Offense finished with 8 more total points than us last year. 0.5 points per game. Would we win more games with 8 more points? I don't know, maybe. The Jets D allowed 45 fewer points than our D though. Would we have won more games if our D allowed 45 fewer points? Probably.
  9. I haven't read the entire thread, but I have to believe this is related to Javier Arenas, whom does everything McLovin does for cheaper and hopefully with less fumbles.
  10. Huh, very interesting. As someone who would consider Conklin at 19 I would most definitely consider Stanley if he fell to us.
  11. Really? What happened?
  12. He's not my first choice, but I'd put him around 5th or 6th.
  13. The lazy man says they are talented white DEs with 1st round grades from the Big 10. And, to be clear, I only say white because "high motor" vs "athletically gifted"
  14. Tyrod has a ring, he just wasn't starting
  15. Not a fan of Ogbah as a DE?
  16. He was chatting it up with someone in Bills gear at the combine, not that it means anything.
  17. Yeah, Pace would be a 1 year band-aid if we lose Bradham at best imo
  18. I wouldn't be surprised with any combination of Harrison, Davis, and Pace
  19. Rex's typical D uses the lineman to anchor & 2 gap while using LB & S blitzes to create pressure as far as I know. Not saying the linemen can't/shouldn't get pressure on their own, but I feel like a lot of the time their role is to ensure that the appropriate LB is either single teamed or unblocked entirely.
  20. Not saying Kiper's draft isn't a disaster, but he has Myles Jack going 7th to SF. Definitely not on the board at 19.
  21. Derrick Morgan? That's who comes to mind when I think lanky edge rushers, though Morgan had about 25 lbs on Floyd.
