There's been no evidence that McDermott is this kind of micromanager. Moreover, it makes no sense. His job security, and millions of dollars, is not based on him hiring a puppet. It's based on him finding the people that will bring wins to Buffalo.
I guarantee you, winning and money are more important to McD than his ego.

Bullock would be fun to watch in a Bills uniform. You think he lasts to their pick in the 2nd? Beane does have draft capital to move around a bit. I could see him trading for someone like Chinn from Carolina. He's a risk coming off injury, but that could lower his trade cost. Either way, moves at safety are coming this off-season.

Second, my one son and I decided not to watch any PAT or FG attempts during the game. We left the room, as my other son reported the result after the fact. Bass must have obviously felt that lack of faith, which caused him to miss his FG.

1) our current coordinator is doing a great job, and likely is going nowhere until the HC decides to demote him.
2) his replacement, in that case, is already on staff. There are 4 guys in waiting and we'll likely lose one or more in the offseason to promotion on another team (Babich, Holcomb, Washington, Butler).

I hope he can make the jump from position coach to calling the plays. The young man has earned the promotion (and at least 30% of Dodson's next contract). Now let's see if he can avoid the mistakes of McDermott's 4 minute defense.
