That is DE level speed, the guy is more quicky then fast and there is a difference. He game is making players miss, will not outrun many players on the field. We need a pure speed/ homerun type of back

How about our playoff game against Texans, one thing our defense did not do enough was getting turnovers which helps out our offense.

Who cares about Olson, he should retire already. Sign a TE with potential to learn and play in your offense for the next 3-4 seasons not one year. Either sign Hopper at 12 mill or forget about Olson who is not worth anything more than 4-5 mill at this stage of his career.

End of the day your not beating good teams with guys like Murphy at DE, cut him and that saves us 8 mill, you add another 10 to that and pay around 18-20 million. He can be a difference maker, guys like Trent Murphy get you beat, I AM ALL FOR IT !

End of the day the need to cut guys Murphy/Smith/ Kroft and not overpay guys like Poyer who wants a raise. Poyer signed a contract and needs to honor it, good player but he is no pro bowler who cannot be replaced. Paying average/good players too much puts your team at a disadvantage getting elite talent that you need to win playoff games. Does anyone remember any game changing plays Poyer made this past season or in the playoff game? either do i. Not against adding a couple of years to his current deal with a small increase. Yes, that 16 million saved could be used for a big time play maker, we need play makers on both sides of the ball. Those guys can all be replaced by draft picks and better quality free agents.

I think this offseason is so important, get rid of scrubs like Murphy /Lee Smith/ Yeldon/Kroft which saves us close to 16 mill in cap space and sign a couple of play making free agents. We're going to need more talent because our schedule will not be as easy and 7-8 wins this past season were against losing teams. You cut Murphy, no team is giving anything for that guy.
