Beane is building for the future. Everyone knows this is not a super bowl caliber team. Even with extreme luck we aren't SB bound. Ultimately, Beanes goal is to win a SB. He is building for the future. Sammy wasn't going to be resigned (he didn't deserve to be based on injury and production and apparently attitude) so we got a more resignable guy in Gaines who is solid as well as a second. I actually really like what we are doing. Now Beane probably wasn't planning on the Bills winning this many games and I know Shady would be a prime candidate for trade in a true tank. But think of it, for a rookie QB Shady would be the perfect outlet to prevent rookies from forcing the ball unneccesarily downfield. Im trusting in Beane

Gotta admit. I wasn't high on Deshaun Watson, but I like him now. He misses on some throws but he's a competitor and pushes the ball downfield unlike Tyrod. I thought he would essentially be another Tyrod but he is way better.

McD needs to get together with Beane. If they think Tyrod can get them to the playoffs they need to stick with him. If they think he most likely can't, bench him now. Every game we win is hurting our draft stock. It would be a shame if we went 7-9 or even 9-7 and miss out on one of the QBs in the first or have to give up a bunch of picks. I personally say go with Peterman. Find out what he has and if he sucks it's ultimately a long term victory for us. I gotta imagine McBeane will stick with Tyrod though

D line was pretty bad today too. Never got pressure really on dalton. When they did squeeze the pocket they never really were able to hit him or actually pressure him. There were times when the defense really could've clamped down and sealed the game with sack ending drives but didn't and allowed dalton to throw all over the secondary

Tyrod isn't a bad QB. But he's not a good one either. He leaves way too many plays on the field. He will, at best, be a wild card playoff QB. I feel like we are spinning our wheels at 7-9 and should ride or die with Peterman. See what he has. Maybe he is the next Kirk cousins or if he sucks, we draft someone next year.

Tyrod AND the entire offense has been abysmal today. Can't run, can't throw, no scheming to get anyone open with play calling. Terrible. This offense is more inept than against carolina
