  1. Have you been in inland Miami in mid September?
  2. Haiti is a political and humanitarian disaster. No country in the Western Hemisphere even comes close. Trumpistas, if it is your policy that these people should be left there (or sent back) to starve and be killed by gang militias, well, then just come right out and say so. Because that is exactly what will happen. Otherwise, please talk about something rational, like what do you propose we do? Don't say send them back to make their country better; it hasn't happened for half a century or more (maybe way more), and it's not going to happen in the forseeable future. You are saying they should be sent back to starve or be killed. Period. Own it.
  3. This is the tell amongst Trumpies - allegations that she was given questions ahead of time, or had a speaker in her ear. They really think it is that hard to put together coherent thoughts in response to the obvious questions? That's how little they think of their Trump. They know he can't do it, so they're amazed that Kamala can. Kamala wasn't brilliant, she was just a normal prepared lawyer making her arguments. Trump was a nincompoop. The dothard he's been for a long time.
  4. I see people are calling left wing conspiracies "Blue Anon." And Blue Anon should be given as much credence as Q Anon. There was a deranged kid. He checked out things online. His father didn't take warning signs seriously. He found a clear and obvious gap in security. He used it. He killed a man and could have killed a presidential candidate. Sometimes the world (and the government) is just eff'd up.
  5. Thank you. Good news reported as such. Will wonders never cease.
  6. I know a lot about this, having dealt with immigration and immigration crime through much of my career. I'm not really in a position now to tell you how I know these things (wait till I retire), but I'm not lying here. It's kind of a Reddit Ask Me Anything here. I'll give you a straight answer. Look back to what i've said over the years about immigration and I think you'll see I'm a straight shooter on these issues.
  7. She is talented. Not super talented, but talented as a songwriter and definitely as a performer. (Not so much as a singer) One thing people neglect about her popularity (and again, I know this through my daughter and her friends who grew up with Taylor). She was really popular with the little 10 year olds. Then they kind of moved on. What brought her back? Yeah, partly a nostalgia thing (even 20 year olds seem to have nostalgia now), but partly because they all know that she successfully completed a major power move by screwing over her old managers by re-recording all her old albums. And the streams of "Taylor's Versions" far exceed that of the old versions. So there's kind of a feminist empowerment thing there too that counterbalances the whole "my boyfriend treated me bad" side. I guess what I'm trying to say is Taylor is Brat.
  8. Interesting. Among the minor things that always makes me like a celebrity more or less: finding out how they treat the people who help make things happen.
  9. Bending over for Putin is now the definition of American Alpha Male.
  10. Which is kind making fun of how stupid Trump sounds.
  11. You need to spend more time around here. "Politically Correct" is so 1990s. Politically Correct --> Woke --> Socialist --> Communist --> Maoist
  12. True. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find an "illegal" Haitian these days. In addition to parole, those who had entered illegally were often granted asylum, or then Temporary Protected Status, both of which allow them to live and work legally here.
  13. Russian Interference: True. Pee Tape: Silly. Suckers and Losers: True. 2 outta 3 ain't bad.
  14. My jaw is still well above the floor. Because I've known this for years. Decades even (I live in SF during Willie Brown's tenure)
  15. I am not running for President. I did not promise a magnificent health care plan of my own that would be so much better than failed Obamacare. I have not kept people waiting 9 years for that plan. Mr. Big Brain/Stable Genius has. And after 9 years, he has a Concept. Not a Plan. A Concept.
  16. Tim, you have plenty of Haitians in Orlando. Any such stories there? Surely there would be a few if this was actually a thing.
  17. Let's just wait until they have a medical emergency, show up at an ER, and then have to be treated on the public dime. That sounds like a fine plan. We can just call it "our current plan, or lack thereof."
  18. So I'm still waiting for that Springfield Verified Pet Owner whose dog or cat was taken and eaten to come forward. Shouldn't be all that hard to find at least one ....
  19. Please share with me your Concept of a Plan.
  20. More wit and wisdom from B-Man's own personal influencer "Vee." Note that she also says "I think B-Man is cute"
  21. I'm mocking Trump, who was asked - 9 years after saying he wanted to replace Obamacare with his much, much better Trumpcare - whether he finally has a plan ready for release. Answer: we have a Concept of a Plan.
  22. That's at the core of it. It was boring. 2016. Debates would have featured Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio arguing about who is just slightly more anti-abortion or slightly more in favor of school choice. And along comes Trump, saying outrageous things, insulting his opponent, etc. It made politics interesting. The act is getting tired.
  23. No offense taken, but they're smart kids. An endorsement isn't gonna sway anyone. It probably is best at encouraging turnout by focusing her fans attention on the importance of voting. Is there anyone out there who was on the fence who will now say, "that's it, Hulk Hogan supports Trump, that settles it"
  24. OK. "Confession." Body language expert interprets practiced pose meant to gently mock Trump ("you silly, silly boy") as a confession. Yes, her father is a Marxist economist! It's a fact. She didn't deny it. She meant to mock him based on the irrelevance of the comment, as if one inherits political philosophy.
