  1. I think you found QAnon!
  2. An outrageous attack. The best defense: we were grossly negligent. The worst scenario: we knew what they were and we killed them anyway. Netanyahu will likely understand just one thing: no more arms or funding.
  3. https://abc7ny.com/total-solar-eclipse-weather-forecast-its-not-just-clouds-thunderstorms-threaten-views/14612639/ More likely to be struck by lightning than to burn your eyes out
  4. Ladies and gentlemen and various flavors of non-binary persons, I present to you some of the peaceful patriot "hostages." Example (but read the whole linked article - gunshots fired, flash-bangs thrown, others charged later with conspiring to kill FBI agents ... and all of the "low class" description accurately given them by Trump himself) Jacob Lang — who can be seen on video hitting law enforcement officers with a baseball bat and riot shield — faces multiple charges of assaulting law enforcement officers, as well as felony charges of civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding. He was arrested in January 2021.“I was the leader of Liberty today,” Lang wrote on Facebook after the riot, wrongly tagging himself at the White House. “Arrest me. You are on the wrong side of history.” He said the day after the attack that it was “war” at the Capitol, not a mere protest.
  5. I will submit to the 12 step program to ensure that never happens again.
  6. Is that one of the "can you spot the trans person" photos, erroneously posted here? Because I think I just spotted one.
  7. Oops. Cross posted it in 5 threads. Night shift lab tech got time on his hands.
  8. Yep. Posted the same incredibly unamusing Photoshop tweet in at least 4 threads.
  9. No wonder at all. Bad news for Trump = flurry of stupid memes.
  10. So let's make sure I understand the theory here. Biden retained classified documents in violation of law, but he shouldn't be charged because that is consistent with him being a well-meaning, elderly man with memory issues. Trump also retained classified documents in violation of law, and he too shouldn't have been charged because that was consistent with him being a well-meaning, elderly man with memory issues. It's a tie! (You can't have it both ways)
  11. Damn fool doesn't realize that I posted a link to an absurd story about how a Canadian wants the government to pay for him to get a *****. While keeping his penis.
  12. Idiot never saw a secured facility? This actually surprised him? Oh, wait a minute, now I understand. He previously tweeted that Sidney Powell should indeed "release the Kraken." And also this: "I love Trump." https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/ervin-lee-bolling-fbi-gate-crash-suspect-trump-qanon-1234998775/ Hey, look at me! I found QAnon!! (Again)
  13. https://nationalpost.com/news/science/court-case-vaginoplasty-patient-keeping-penis O, Canada!!!
  14. I always wonder: how do these two-bit academics become folk heroes to the left or the right? Left: remember that "white fragility" lady who was everywhere for a while? Robin DiAngelo. Ph.D. from Seattle University (what?). Briefly taught at Westfield State University (where?). Then started lecturing as a self-appointed expert on racism and "white fragility." She's made a mint. Meanwhile, the real scholars who haven't hit on a hot button toil away in obscurity at real universities. Right: James Lindsay. His wiki says he has a Ph.D. in math from the University of Tennessee, which I take it is not amongst the first 100 (500?) choices of the budding academic mathematician. While working as a massage therapist (I am not making this up, although it is apparently scrubbed from his wiki by his minions as soon as it is added), he collaborates with a couple other slightly more successful academics on a series of hoax academic papers. It was a good joke, inspired by a much better joke two decades earlier by a real academic physicist, Alan Sokal. Fun. They made their point - academic journals in the social sciences are a joke, existing for the sole purpose of resume padding. But then a weird thing happened: he became a right-wing media hero. Why? Because he pilloried academia? He no longer has to try to get a job as an academic. He probably doesn't need to massage anything other than NC BIlls' little weiner these days. They love him. Quote every pointless thing he tweets. Eat up his "cultural criticism" without even reaching for the massage oil to help it go down. And that's how a "public intellectual" is created these days. Much like how any influencer is created: click-bait.
  15. I think he means that some of those Russians coming across the SW border (don't be fooled, there are a lot) are going to get jobs at Los Alamos and transfer our most advanced technology to Putin. Because after all, he is a very strong leader and there's no reason he shouldn't be our friend. [Stupid, idiotic comments by some failed academic]
  16. So it just doesn't feel right to you. Sorry, too busy working on the 2024 election to watch Rudy videos.
  17. There you go. Just like the refs. I didn't see the play but "just give it to him [Trump]" ... after all, he was the stronger candidate so he really must have won.
  18. Let them take down Jefferson Davis statues all over the south and replace them with Trump. That would make everyone happy, right? (Maybe not)
  19. Difference: we all know that catch was out of bounds because we saw it with our own eyes. Did you see Dominion voting machines changing votes? Did you see those Georgia election workers inserting flash drives with fake voter tallies? No. No you didn't. Because it didn't happen. What did happen is one candidate repeated the same thing over and over until you were under his hypnotic spell.
  20. Reminder: - Fox News had to pay almost a billion dollars for defaming Dominion Voting (the initial core of the "massive fraud" theory) - Rudy Giuliani admitted that he defamed Georgia election workers - Similarly, Kari Lake is not contesting that she did the same with Arizona election workers - Maricopa County hired independent investigators. They found that Biden won Arizona by a slightly larger margin than the official results. - My Pillow guy's "damning evidence" of election fraud was found by an independent arbitrator to be nothing more than spreadsheet gobbledegook, and he has to pay an independent participant in his little challenge $5 million. So where's the "gaslighting?" Where's the WIN amidst all these losses? Wherever these claims are scrutinized in a court of law, they are found to be nonsense. Dude: your guy lost. Deal with it.
  21. Because either they are: (1) true believers in what I would call radical trans theory - the idea that there is absolutely no difference between a trans woman and a biological (from birth) woman. Obviously Rowling hates this theory. She has a lived experience as a girl and as a girl growing into a woman. She doesn't hate trans people; she just believes that radical trans theory would obliterate any such distinction and that that is wrong. Or (2) people who are afraid to be called out as anti-trans. There's a bit of a warning here to Trumpist righties who might be inclined to put her in their pantheon alongside such minor deities as James Lindsay and Jordan Peterson ... she is far too much of her own woman to be so readily used. And she has Eff You money that means she doesn't have to go trolling for anyone's approval and the associated speaking fees.
  22. No, but the thread is specifically about her daring the Scottish authorities to charge her, and more generally about how she doesn't suffer fools gladly. In other words: Don't mess with her!
