  1. Well, that's because you don't know why a young man suffering some kind of mental break would act in any circumstance.
  2. If that's our guy, it's consistent with the psychological break pattern we've seen with other shooters. Intelligent, seemingly mild-mannered HS student. A couple years later, obsessed/paranoid street screamer. And sadly, a probably well-meaning but incredibly ill considered response by his dad: maybe shooting sports will be his thing; hey, let's buy him an AR-15.
  3. Sad but true. There's the occasional illuminating post, like the one I just mentioned. Then there's my admittedly perverse interest in seeing how social media corrupts the thinking of this group of (mostly) aging men. My amateur anthropology project ...
  4. I guess he'll meet you in hell. Pretty cool flag, I have to admit it. Doesn't mean anything, but cool tangle.
  5. Thanks. I've said this before. Why do I read/post in PPP given how no one is ever going to convince anyone of anything here? One of the reasons is that some posters actually have experience in an area I don't know about, and I appreciate this kind of input. Sometimes I learn something ...
  6. Some actual reporting, as in a reporter (from the dreaded mainstream media) making calls, visiting sites, talking to people, looking up public records. You know, the stuff that will now be fodder for all the Hot Take Machines that get quoted here, disparaging the MSM. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/14/us/politics/trump-gunman-thomas-crooks.html
  7. Hey Trump, if you were a real man like TR you wouldn't have been hustled off without shoes.
  8. The False Flag guy is my alter ego. That guy responds with the conspiratorial crap that dominates this site. I should create a new name for him and respond to myself, but that would violate the TOS here. And I'm a rule follower if nothing else.
  9. Correct. There is absolutely no reason to assume anything else.
  10. ^ Falls hard for false flag op.
  11. So there's a law about that? Where? We should allow firearms at political rallies. Political rally = protected by 1st Amendment. Firearms carry = protected by 2nd Amendment. Your call for reasonable/unwritten restrictions is unconstitutional.
  12. Those were damn near-moron status fools who had their free will corrupted by savvy government informers. I read that right here.
  13. Aha! The MSM is catching up with my Q-Radar Skills. Take that, NCBIlls! QAnon in plain sight!! "Assassination attempt" on Trump while newly reemerged JFK Jr. (son of the last assassinated president) stands there in plain sight? Really??
  14. I haven't read that. Thanks for the suggestion. I have always been partial to Pascal. For him it was kind of a "you may have already won" thing. Yes, your fate was kinda sorta predestined. But you could blow it, or you could believe and claim it. https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/pascal/
  15. It was clever. Loss of sense of humor is not a good sign.
  16. Well then that settles it. He was a gun control advocate in a Gun Nut T-shirt. Of such crooked timber are humans made.
  17. Please don't destroy a narrative with facts like that.
  18. On the other hand, God really didn't like that guy shot and killed in the crowd.
  19. So you tell me ... exactly how far away from the secured area did the kid need to be in order to be allowed to walk around freely with an AR-15? 100 yards? Half a mile? 20 miles? If it's his Second Amendment right to be armed, well, then it's a right, not a privilege. Should the SS have executed him before he started shooting?
