  1. Hear ya, if Eli and the new coach don't gel or the team isn't playoff ready I could see him retiring about the same time as Brady.(2-4 years)
  2. Agree NoSaint. Agree C.Biscuit97, but one is a 10 year starter and you is a first year starter.
  3. That's much closer. I might switch 1 and 2 same as 3 and 4. Newton might be the best going forward. That's coming from someone, who before this year, didn't think he'd ever "get it" and become elite, but could you imagine how much better of a season he would have had, if he had Benjamin to throw to. Eli might be a little too high he's 35 now. Man doesn't seem like he's a lot younger than Brady? The difference is only 3 1/2 years and I don't see the same drive to play as long as Brady is going to try to do. If Coughlin was still there, those two were real close, I think he would played longer.
  4. True, while several those things are unpredictable, one is not father time. Several of those QBs are getting very long in the tooth.
  5. But your new franchise isn't only going to have one year to win the Super Bowl. What does your list look like if it's real life, and it's now going forward? What team only has one year to win it all? Never got that argument.
  6. I hope the Offensive play calling mirrors the Jets game next year with some shots down field. Find ways to feed Sammy the ball as much as possible. They did a great job of that in the game.
  7. Not quite. Alex got 35 yds against us or 7% of his yards.
  8. I agree Kirby. Did it seem like play calling(design) had something to do with this? I say that because the play calls and design in the Jets game seemed to key on the midrange game and middle of the field way more than the other 15 games.
  9. Must have done something right in the game. The Bills had the ball for over 39 minutes and won the game against a team with way more to play for. Even the best coordinators are going to have questionable calls during the course of the year.
  10. Absolutely, that's what they did against the Jets and had the ball for over 39 minutes. Hard for a team to win when the other team has the ball twice as long as you do.
  11. Some people on this board want him to stop running, but I feel he would not be as effective as a QB if he did. As far as moving the chain your probably right many, many more if he didn't throw long on third and short with a wide open field in front of him.
  12. The difference on the ground between Alex and Tyrod is not as big as one would think. Tyrod - 568 yds 5.5 avg 4 tds Alex - 498 yds 5.9 avg 2 tds
  13. That's what was so encouraging in the last game against the 4th ranked defense all his completions went less than 20 yards in the air. Even on a day when the weather was going to make long passes much harder to complete and everyone knew short/intermediate passes were coming.
  14. Very grown up for 22, like a seasoned veteran. I think he's only going to get better with more experience and more time in the film room.
  15. Yeah I know. The Bills are and have been his favorite team for a long time. Maybe he gives a little hometown discount. We'll see.
  16. Agree with all ya. It was great to hear him during the game, especially when it didn't appear anyone else was stepping up as a vocal leader. This can only be a good thing going forward. Hopefully he and Tyrod spend a lot of time together this offseason.
  17. I totally agree. I hope he's here until he retires. We would be set at #1WR for about 10 years if he does.
  18. From the Jets game. I love the leadership role he is taking on the sideline and especially in the huddle. Same goes for his competitive side in a game that meant little for the Bills. He's going to be a beast next year!! http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-sound-efx/0ap3000000618572/Sound-FX-Sammy-Watkins
  19. When based on # of targets 63-59, yds 440-450, touchdowns 3-2, first downs 18-18, yds per game 27.5-28.1, yac 105-104, long rec. 47-46 are very similar, but Stills does have him on 20+ yd/rec 10-6.
  20. Kenny Stills? 27 recs. 63 tgts 440 yds 16.3 avg 3 td 18 fd in wins: 4 recs 69 yds 0 tds in losses: 23 recs 371 yds 3 tds rushing: 0 yds 0 att Chris Hogan 36 recs 59 tgts 450 yds 12.5 avg 2 td 18 fd in wins: 10 recs 147 yds 2 tds in losses: 26 recs 303 yds 0 tds rushing: 4 yds 1 att There's a few numbers a little different but he's pretty darn close, but not as good of a blocker as Chris.
  21. I can deal with all the other departures, but Couch Potato is good for at least one more year. One of my favorites over the years. If it's Kyle's last year, next season, playoffs are a must. He and Freddy deserved as much but Fred didn't get his chance. Here's hoping we're good enough next year.
