  1. Ive only read a few pages in this thread, but ESPN had NOTHING good to say about him except he's huge and can be taught. Otherwise, the 4 guys on the panel all laid into him for being slow, easily beat by smaller rushers, weak and not agile. Seriously, it was such a universal diss job I wondered why they didn't go off on how stupid we are.. Maybe because Saban visited the dias yesterday. Anyway, if Whaley, Marrone & Co like him at RT, then lets see what he can do. Edit: They did say he was smart..

    #24 on Mike Mayock's top 100
  2. Why do you assume I am emotionally upset at Stevie? Seems like a strange assumption.

He's not that good and isn't a good fit for this team moving forward. The writing is on the wall. It's better to get a 4th than nothing for him.

Just because that's your opinion doesn't make it true. Three out of the last four years he's ranked 11th, 19th, and 18th in yards. But yeah, a top 20 WR isn't very good. Don't let facts get in your way of getting rid of him.
  3. Just got back from a couple of different draft parties where it has been nothing less than a consensus that the Bills made a great move and got a great player. Yet I come back here, and it's more of the same bitching and moaning. Too bad some folks just can't be excited about a simple past time.

You're right. There is plenty of draft left to address our non-crucial needs (as Whaley had already set us up to have no major, crucial needs).

Huge move. Love it. Go Bills!

You are showing too much enthusiasm for this board Apparently you didn't get the memo, your suppose to have yous pouty pants on
  4.

Really? Name for me the things that Sammy Watkins does that Mike Williams cannot. Please. This is a sincere request. I've been looking over Mike Williams tape, and I have been nothing but impressed. I don't mind a 1-2 punch, but I still don't see a clear #1.

Even if they don't, Seattle and San Fran. didn't have a clear #1 and most people think they were the 2 best teams.
  5. I don't understand how next year's 1st round pick keeps being transmuted into being "like a 2nd round pick".

Unless every other team has traded away next year's 1st round pick and due to some unusual coincidence every team somehow misplaces them. In this case I would assume that the first round would be skipped and they start in the second round. That would make next year's 1st round pick like a 2nd round pick......wait this makes absolutely no sense either.

2nd try: No one at any position in the 1st 32 picks next year would benefit our team at all because they will suck so bad, so I will be ever so happy that the Bills won't have one of those losers on the team next year.

I hope the bills turn out to be smarter than I think they are.

    Nailed it...... I think...... Nevermind
  6. Would he make our team better? Yes. Would he probably be around for 10 years? Yes (hopefully). I know we all want to make a "splash", but this pick would make our team better.

I agree being able to play all 5 positions well is a big plus. So if something, god forbid, happened to Woods it wouldn't be nearly as bad.
  7. For the final time, I've UPDATED the visitors board, using Final DraftTek Big Board, and have made my picks with trade-down and without trade-down. I'm saying we aren't trading up.

Thanks for the update Astro, and for all you do. Would love this draft if OL was the pick in the 1st.
