Once again, the DetROT lions serve up a stinker on Turkey Day. Will someone please remind me why these hacks continue to be televised each turkey day? I feel sorry for any Lions fan in the state of MI getting indigestion BEFORE the big dinner having to watch their team lose yet again. But the funniest part was listening to the fans chant "Lets go Red Wings" in the 4th quarter. You gotta love that sarcasm and inevitable optimism from the men of Motown. I guess it hasn't gotten quite that bad in Buffalo yet. So as bad as the Bills season has been, it could be worse - and it IS in Detroit, SF, Houston, etc. Here's hoping the Buffalo Bills can generate some more respect for themselves and their fans in the few remaining games.

l was listening to the game on Satellite radio. During the bills last series, the announcers said that Moulds was wide open and could have waltzed in for a TD, but that JP wasn't even close. Anyone care to elaborate on this play?

STELLAR post. Its been really hard to be a Bills fan, but watching this team's struggles over the past 8 seasons and seeing it go from bad to worse makes it even harder. Wake me up when the next season starts cause this one is over. I simply do not see the Bills winning against proven, consistently good teams such as NE, Denver, Carolina, and Cinci. My guess is that we'll finish 6-10, and we'll have yet another off season focused on rebuilding...

You have got to be kidding me... Trash me for being realistic, but I don't see the Bills having any but two of the last 6 games - at Miami and home vs the hapless Jets. We'll finish with a 6-10 record. Welcome back to SUB-mediocrity.

Going back to the original post, I might add that we can make the same analogy in the US, either with Mexican immigrants (thank goodness they're only interested in making min wage by picking our crops and are not intent on political motives), or Cuban immigrants (Fidel - give us your homeless, your mentally insane, etc.). I've been following these stories from France with interest - some interesting debates here on wearing burkas in schools, religious beliefs vs law (same basic type of arguments going on in the US with abortion). It will be illuminating to see how the french deal with this.

Yep - O-line DOES stink, coaching could use improvement, and JP needs to get more accurate. Winning cures everything, even whining...

Damn straight - its all about unfunded mandates so that no sheep er I mean child is left behind and can do well on that standardized test. Its even worse for K-12 in CA. We have one of the lowest per student funding of the 50 states and some of the worst performance on tests. And do you know what our beloved Governator wants to do? Tie pay to performance even more closely. And this in a state where there are lots of non-english speaking families. Somehow the state thankfully still has more money for prisons. And you can be sure that the Repubs will hold the line on not raising taxes, this despite a $8B state budget deficit. It could almost be funny watching them try to work out of this if it wasn't so sad. If I didn't have my kids in a good local school that is well supported by the PTO, I'd leave the state.

Couch your arguments in whatever clothing you like here, AKC. While you make a number of good pts, making the connection between criticism of Bledsoe's performance and the behavior of fans an society in general is either a stretch or an exercise. The bottom line is that several posters have correctly highlighted numerous reasons and stats which validate criticism of Bledsoe. And while it is a team game, its his performance perhaps more than any single factor which stands out. from this season. I'm out (heehehehehee - couldn't resist!)

Absolutely not. While the Bledsoe defenders were fat and happy when the Bills were winning DESPITE Drew, the fact remains that he's off the radar in AFC passer ratings and had another poor season, this despite an improved O line and yet another 1000 yard rusher.
