  1. The sad part about the Pegula interview was after he couldn't answer the question as to who was running the draft, the reporters gently reminded Terry what the Bills propaganda machine had been saying over the last few months. Doug is in control Terry! Yet Terry refused the help and then admitted who was really in charge, himself. Which ever of Terry's lieutenants "feels the strongest" can win the day. So how does this organizational structure work? See what happened after Doug Marrone quit. Terry asks Doug to setup head coach interviews based on experience and do an exhaustive search. They interview a lot of people. Doug the football guy mentions keeping the defense intact is important and that the head coach should be an offensive guru to get the team over the hump. In comes Brandon, who "feels strongly" that Rex Ryan will bring excitement to the city and show the town that the Pegulas mean business. Brandon's pitch wins over Doug's boring presentation and Rex Ryan is hired. Terry Pegula just admitted this decision tree is still the model! Can't believe Buffalo News missed that as Carucci's column glossed over the most revealing quotes!
  2. I have never stated I was against discussion and collaboration. That's great and should happen. But someone has to make the final call. The fact that the owner of the Buffalo Bills couldn't answer that question is a huge red flag that this team is not being managed properly. Oh, and thanks for the well wishes. I need to get this puppy to market first!
  3. I am launching a business application software company, in addition to the company I already run. But guess what, it doesn't take an entrepreneur to understand that the Bills organizational chart is messed up.
  4. I run my own company and collaborate with teams all the time.
  5. Rex wanted to build a bully. McDermott is the bully. Hey, even if we win 5 games our coach can beat up your coach!
  6. We were told all day that Whaley was in control of the 53 and Whaley would run the draft from posters on this board. Terry Pegula just destroyed that idea right there!
  7. Previous Bills group efforts: Levy-Jauron Brandon-Modrak-Jauron Nix-Whaley Whaley-Rex Ryan
  8. Before I go on, what do you make of this? http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Terry-Pegula-Going-to-Work-Harder-Day-by-Day/0a23734d-723f-42c9-a819-296e50fcb575
  9. Reporter, "Who has the final call?" Terry Pegula, "It's going to be a group effort" Reporter, "But Doug has control of final 53, wouldn't he make the call?" Terry Pegula, "If somebody feels more strongly about something than someone else, maybe you lean in that direction..." There is so much here I don't know where to begin.
  10. If we draft to fix holes we will be circling the drain soon. We need a plan that sees farther ahead than 1 year. Cardale is a nice lottery ticket. We will see how that is going soon enough.
  11. Only if all the evidence contradicts the statement. Like last year's draft, it appeared Rex was in charge and Whaley was fetching him players.
  12. We're going to cheer Tyrod when the games start. But we expect an active and aggressive front office.
  13. But it's Whaley's call if they disagree?
  14. People have been telling me Whaley is in charge of the 53. Now it's a group thing. Which is it?
  15. We've been told the Bills have been making decisions as a group since Brandon-Modrak.
  16. Which would be a nice 7th round pick or UDFA.
  17. If the Bills use Tyrod as a bridge and go get their QB of the future many of us will breathe a sigh of relief. If instead they try to build around Tyrod and ignore the QB position another couple years the anger will reach new heights.
  18. Patrick Mahomes is a first round pick. Just on NFL Network. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD4vQ6c8GjY
  19. I'd love for us to be one happy family. Just tired of the people coming from another message board who think this kind of post is worthwhile: Hot take. That wuz terrible. Lol. How about trying to bring ideas?
  20. I don't want my team more focused on keeping the GM and coach employed in the short term. I want the most important position on the field to be taken seriously by the Bills. So far the Bills have been the kind punching bag for other teams.
  21. Starting QBs in the NFL can throw the football with velocity. When you can't throw the ball with enough power NFL corners can break on the ball and many throws cannot be made against NFL defenses. Peterman has enough traits that he could be a backup but teams don't start guys like him.
  22. That's fine. Mayock and the Kipers are wrong though. This QB class is better than last year. I like Mahomes and Trubisky better than Wentz and Goff.
  23. It's amazing how people will twist themselves into pretzels to sell a bridge QB placeholder as more than he is. Tyrod has been in the league 6 years. He is what he is.
  24. Yes, taking a wide receiver or cornerback is getting ahead of the curve.
