Sorry, but I'm a nonbeliever. Rex has shown me ZERO to think that he will take us to the promised land in a couple years. I understand that he doesn't have the personnel to run his 3-4, but I struggle with him not using the strengths of his players (i.e. Dropping Dareus into coverage!) I don't like that he hasn't had us well-prepared for games. I don't like that we're playing without urgency and undisciplined at key moments. I want to believe, but I don't see these things changing, even if he gets the players he wants. He was a shiny new car when we got him. But I think he's a better marketer than he is a coach. And although Pegula may not dump him and eat $20M after this year, the city of Buffalo will run him out of town. These fans deserve better, and all Rex has been is a huge let down. I've been vocal with my opinions toward Rex as a coach. He may be a great guy, but I wouldn't miss him one bit if we started over tomorrow. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Something I don't understand is why was Hogan not in Rex's face telling him to challenge that?? Hogan must have known he caught the ball, no?

My problem with Rex is the overscheming. We have the players. He needs to let the payers do what they do well and play to their strengths. Dareus in coverage is ridiculous. Rex is overthinking everything. There is nothing wrong with simplifying when you can rely on your players to make plays. For that reason alone, I'd welcome Schwartz back. I feel that this is the best overall roster we've had in over a decade.. And Rex has them playing lazy, sloppy, undisciplined and uninspired football. For this reason more importantly, I'd welcome just about anyone in to take the reigns. I'm done with this clown. Nothing would make me happier than to see Pegula take ownership of this 'situation'. There is no reason whatsoever that this team shouldn't be in the postseason.
