  1. We may never know what was out there. They're are some glaringly simple needs they haven't prioritized for some reason- I guess that's the plan!
  2. I think it was a big mistake to not acquire any help. JMO
  3. Whitney Houston...I get so emotional baby.......
  4. Beane must be on his way to Cancun for vacation......JEEZ!
  5. I honestly don't get the don't make a move crowd, hoard the choices, we have cap to deal with it later and besides we aren't SB contendors. Excuse me, but why are waiting to take on talent that helps us this year, next, the year after etc. Talent is what is needed to improve and solve issues, whether it comes now, next week, after the season, FA/Draft. Fix it don't wait.
  6. If other teams we are competing with make impactful moves, and we don't, it will not be well received.
  7. I think if we don't make a useful trade or two it will be bad emotionally for the team. Competitors bringing in impactful players will not be well received by anyone.
  8. way to cherry pick. 5.1yds/carry last year when there was no hold out.
  9. By the time that WR drafted will have an impact Allen's contract will have run out.
  10. Yes it will, and I'm not sure it will be received well by the players. I mean publically we love this lockerroom, privately they know today they have issues.
  11. Yeah I agree. Not good enough to win only when expected to, and then steal a game a year.
  12. Yes I feel the lack of aggressiveness and playing to win. The funny thing is, that when you coach like McD it usually means playing fundamental ball and avoiding errors, "don't beat yourself". We still routinely do that, not only on the field as players, but the coaching staff is guilty as well.
  13. Interesting observation, I hadn't thought of it that way, but it is very true. My theory has always been, to be part of group of teams in the NFL you need to win 50% of your games to prove you belong. If you want to be a team that is sustainably a playoff team, you need to get your share of wins against them.
  14. Ah the strawman argument. I feel no need to defend my comments from your attack. BTW, I gave him a C, what's your grade D or F? From your tone, never mind, I don't care I know.
  15. For me, its a C, to be a D I would have to believe he was one of , if not, the primary culprits in the loss. I know the tendency is to say 16-34 he had a low completion. That number is skewed by the late game when we collapsed and he didn't complete his last 9 or 10. The game was over essentially after the 8 minute drive in the fourth. Eagles knew we had to pass, and the offensive line, in particular was like a sieve. I will balance all this by saying, it was pretty much within the parameters of performance we'd expect from Josh prior to the later fourth quarter. He looked especially good on the third quarter TD drive that put us back in it temporarily. He had 2TD and no INTs- which we'll take, but he doesn't escape blame completely, he fumbled and he has to be better with the protecting the fumble. I'm sticking with a C, it's not a good performance, but it's not a huge step back. The team on the other hand........
  16. Football is about scoring and preventing always has been, always will be. BTW, Today is the first time the Bills scored less than your 14 pts and had 31 last week.
  17. Yeah because points allowed don't matter.
  18. So you come on and beat your chest, that's special. I was right I say. Right and don't forget it, we are really 1-5 not 5-1.
  19. My Takes: The first half Allen fumble is being overrated; some feel a need to state that the momentum changed there. I mean come on if that causes your team to crumble you've got bigger problems. I didn't love the playcalls the series that ended in the fumble, but we scored in the third on a great drive, and cut the score to 13-17 and then the D gave it right back to them! Was that not a big turning point? Underrated: the lack of touches by Singletary in the first half 1? - I believe. Was the early gameplan really to run at Fletcher Cox? Overrated : people bashing Allen for this game, I mean come on people, Eagles ran the ball down our throats after he'd just brought us down the field. He is not the reason we lost this game, IMO he actually played pretty well given the circumstances. Did Wentz look that much better than him? I say no way. Underrated: How much the Eagles coaching staff outschemed, and outfocused our staff this week. I mean Bills defense had 10 men on the field, 2x lining up Offside penalties, dumb penalties on offense, dropped passes, couldn't win 3rd down or RZ on defense, couldn't avoid 3rd and long on offense after screwing up 1 and 2 with bad play calls and penalties......need I say more. This area is extremely concerning to me. Underrated: I watched Mike Evans on RZ and he bailed out Winston multple times as JW just threw the ball up and trusted him to make a play and he did! We don't have enough playmakers on offense, I can only imagine what a help it would be for JA to have someone like Evans. It impacts the team in a complementary fashion to not have enough of these guys.
  20. https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401128037 Not all Pats guys like the Eagles- Ninkovich(NE) and Cruz like us!
  21. https://www.thespread.com/nfl-football-public-betting-chart Looks like some late money is coming in on Philly.
  22. I find your takes to be that of a troll and not a Bills fan. That is all..
  23. From the Sabres forum analytic type after latest win: "I’d say it’s about dissecting the goal differential to see what it might mean for the future while at the same time not allowing how much they win by to affect my ability to enjoy wins in the moment. 7-6 OT Drury would be much the worse for as 7-1 EN Drury. Future implications be damned. But caring in the macro makes sense. But it’s not required reading. " If you change goal diff for point diff it fits here as well. This guy is cheering for the numbers like some on here.
