Iggles cheerleaders are amazing.
I agree, and my reason is because they aren't wearing those stupid boots that every other NFL cheerleading squad wears. All that leg, like with college cheerleaders, is great!

I think they were saying in Chicago that they were bringing in those melter trucks.
What the heck is a melter truck?

For what it's worth, from a friend who's close to the team - Travis was dumber than a box of rocks. Hopefully his offspring inherit brains from their moms . .
Well, their mom's were seduced by Travis Henry...

+2
As for the list, I think we are at a good spot though I feel like our 1990 team was better than the 92 Forty Niners.
I would think that you're right, because didn't we beat them in '92 in the no punt game?

You have to be wrong....I never heard of that ever.

Just spit my coffee out! Good one bbb hahaha!

And 15 hours later there is like 2". WTF weather hype by the local media to boost ratings
We get this dud, but 2 months to the day ago, Dec. 2nd, I get no forewarning that I am getting 3 feet of snow in 24 hours. How about they reverse this thing?!?
I've always joined in on the mocking of other areas after these storms, but I'm really starting to see why it's such an issue this year. Here in Boston they have absolutely no place to put all of it.
How is it different in Buffalo? When the snow starts getting up there, the major complaint is that there is nowhere to put it.

My father snowblowed the whole neighborhood. All for free, of course. Tons of driveways, etc.....And, he was a big believer in getting the biggest snowblower possible. This one has 5 speeds and reverse.
The Toro itself was pretty huge, but the Ariens is the best!

Check out Shulas pants in # 4.Flood coming?
I know - that is hilarious!

I just sold my father-in-laws old Toro from 1984 for 100 bucks... I told the guy I work with (who bought it): "We don't get big snow and it is such a pain to drag that beast out for 4" here, 2" there... And speaking of tire chains, the chains on the snowblower were chewing up my asphalt driveway...
Boy was this a dumb thing to do (sell it)... Anyway, I have neighbors on both sides of me with throwers... I just offer to fork over the gas.
I still have my Dad's Ariens from sometime in the 70s....We actually had a Toro as well to keep at my grandmother's house - probably bought that in 84 like yours, but the Ariens has outlasted it by probably 15 years. It's still a beast and has started up every time this winter........Knock on wood for the morning!

I've never been in space, so I didn't realize that the state borders were outlined. That must have been a public works project.

Travis never won the Super Bowl, but it looks like he won the Breeder's Cup.

9:45PM the snow has started in South Buffalo.......Every school district in the area had called school off for tomorrow by this evening without a single flake falling.

The people standing outsdie don't count. If they count those people to get over the record in LA, it is not legit. The LA record still holds.
They are officially counting them. It's so stupid.

FRANK RIECH ought to shut the **** up!..go back and watch the kick..when "Wrongway REICH " placed the ball ,he forgot to turn the laces..they were facing him .the right way is to turn the laces forward,,.if the laces are not turned the ball tends to drift towards the laces ,in this case to the right!
Revisionist history is interesting but the fact is REICH NOT NORWOOD screwed the pooch!
Did you read the article?

I remember seeing him twirling on TV but I don't remember if it was at a football game or not (probably was). That brings up another great Buffalo sports moment. Calvin Murphy, Bob Lanier, and Randy Smith all played college hoops at the same time in WNY. 3 NBA stars all at once! (Would've been nice if the Braves drafted Lanier!).
I had this vague memory of being at a Bills game and seeing Calvin with the baton. I remember thinking about that as an adult and saying that didn't really happen, did it? But, I am quite sure it did.........I also saw the Purple Eagles play at the Aud and my memory (which also has been confirmed) was that there warm-ups in part was almost like a Globetrotters routine with Calvin in the middle of that. He was amazing!

I said it was the stupidest argument I've been in on a message board.

Good read , but depressing in a way. Yea , most likely no other team will ever go to 4 straight , but come on, we couldn't win one!!
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/columnist/lopresti/2011-01-30-lopresti-buffalo-bills-super-bowl_N.htm
Im calling out Kelly when he says he'd rather of gone to 4 straight than win one...no way...
I always have thought the same thing. And, I guess probably still do......But, one thing you can say now is that more people respect and appreciate that Bills team than they do say the '02 Bucs.
I heard Tony Kornheiser last week interviewing somebody and he was saying something about some team not being a dynasty like the Cowboys or Niners or Bills. That was good to hear!
As for Marv not being a Super Bowl caliber coach, would the kick being a few yards more left make him a Super Bowl caliber coach?

You said, " As far as I remember, and I was pretty mad about this, so I'm quite sure I remember it right - they never played Pat/Ted side by side in a 4-3. They were 3-4, so it was usually one or the other."
Not dismissing your second sentence, but that doesn't change your first statement one iota, which wasn't correct.
Out.....
Oh, OK - I'll try to parse each word that I ever utter on a message board. You obviously are dismissing my 2nd sentence.........It's very clear what I meant. Their main D was 3-4, so as rule, not as an exception, they didn't play side by side. That is what the word usually means.......By saying that, you know damn well I meant that they never played side by side as the starting D or regular D.
Gregg comes in and changes to 4-3 and then trades one of the two run stuffers that would make that D work away.
This may be the stupidest argument I've been in on a message board.

I'm old enough to remember them, but how insane was it that that had the goal posts right at the goal line all those years. What an accident waiting to happen! And, I'd imagine they were used in strategy, too. Using them as picks.
-
I think Marv did more than ok to get this team up after three SB loses and to play in a fourth. Give him a break.
Marv has said it's his biggest regret.
Agree completely, this is the thing that bothers me the most about those superbowl years. Dumb mistake but still can't believe the players mailed it in the rest of the game.
Mine, too. This one hurts way more than the others to me.......I can't ever get it out of my mind that Thurman quit and the rest of the team followed him.........The score was friggin tied!!!
Ugh - it kills me!

The print version of the News today has a great section on this Super Bowl.
