  1. It ruined No Country for Old Men for me.
  2. Didn't he buy the Jackals, or did they just get a farm/parent team agreement?
  3. I couldn't agree more with this.
  4. There's Something about Mary is tied for my favorite comedy with Airplane.
  5. I was thinking about that rail line, too. They might be able to get a bunch of parking by buying and knocking out that strip mall on the other side of the tracks, and then build a footbridge or two over the tracks.
  6. I think 1 myself. I have no good reason, other than older Vito and Sonny. It's filmed so amazingly and the cinematographer just died last week
  7. Wow - I would love that site! I wonder if they are tied in with Carl Paladino. He now has three hotels - all built recently - right across the street.
  8. I just thought about it while reading this because it's definitely the movie I've seen the most!
  9. Yeah, whatever happened to that guy. Oh yeah - he became President of the United States of America aka the Most Powerful Man in the World.
  10. Wow - I've only seen the first picture so far. We still have debates on who should have won that Belly Flop contest............The Maryland Crab got some unfair judging! Now I see #3. The most insane thing ever. I think people can still get arrested if I talk about two years before that picture.
  11. I hate the summer blockbuster season. Jaws was the first and I would think Star Wars was the 2nd two years later. But, I hate all this apocalypse crap we get now. I'm glad I don't see any of that crap listed here as favorite movies.
  12. One time when Tim Graham was blasting somebody on twitter, as usual, he said something about if you follow the link on twitter to a Buffalo News story, you don't have to pay. I subscribe to the paper, so it's not a problem for me.
  13. I'm going to wait for the sequel - Ei8ht I rarely ever watch the same movie twice. I just did it with Godfather I and II - which BTW, no votes for them??..........And, I did like it better the 2nd time. (Actually the third for I, but I was pretty wasted when I saw it in college)
  14. Yeah, I went up and down the same way tonight!
  15. I don't know if you're doing what I did, but it sounds like it. I saw Tim Grahams tweets and the headline to this story and thought he would finance the whole stadium. When you read the article, he's still talking about public funding and maybe willing to chip in basically: http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/trump-would-put-up-his-own-money-for-new-bills-stadium-if-bid-is-accepted-20140527
  16. Haha - yeah, we made it sometime in the winter of 1985-1986 because "when the Bills leave, at least it won't be our fault!".................29th season coming up! Glad to see you on board, Westside! You won't regret it.
  17. They're both great, but I'd put Schindler's ahead of The Pianist.
  18. In British courts you have to wear a powdered wig.
  19. Saving Private Ryan
  20. Maybe they could have made it every 3 or 4 years that we get a pick. Then, we'd really have been in the catbird seat!
  21. What?!? That's crazy to think it's even more unforgivable. The last pick wouldn't even be in the fold yet. In 2007, we're supposed to be excited about number one picks in 2008, 10, 12 and 14?
  22. That's true. But, these maybe, maybe not payoffs were still a few years into the future - and we had just won the President's Cup. That season was unlike any season for Sabres fever since the mid 70s, IMO.............And you're going to do a total rebuild right after it?
  23. NFL draft picks pay off way earlier than NHL picks. I assume these #1 picks would have been 2008-2011. We drafted 5 guys in the first round in those years. Myers, Ennis, Kassian, Pysyk, and Armia. Four more of those guys - with two of them still pretty much in Rochester, we're still in the same place.
