This seems like one or those things that the first time one of these star players scores a touchdown on a punt return the coach will be called a genius with the guts to put the best player that gives the best opportunity to score back there... No I have a problem with alot of people on this forum that B word and moan and complain EVERY time someone starts a thread. The "in" comments and this couldnt be posted in this thread or that thread. Who gives a rats ass if someone starts a new thread. If people stoped making new threads this site would cease to exist. I have no problem with people who disagree with someone else's opinion or stance on a subject. Hell thats what forums are for. They are not for everyone who makes a user name to B word and moan about a thread being started.

It was an EXTRA preseason game.... If Williams makes the catch in the endzone it wouldn't look as bad of a performance. No need to panic, EJ said it himself "I think if it was a situation where coach wanted us to continue to play and show what we needed to show he would've done that. I think he knows that being it's our first game and we have another one coming up soon I'm sure we'll get some more run next week." If by the Enid of the preseason we don't see progress then we should start to worry... Not about an extra preseason game where he was only In for a few series. Take a deep breath... Or a big hit and relaaaaaax.

Ej only played 2 series. He was far from perfect, however he never really had the chance to settle down and get into a rhythm before being yanked. This game was an extra preseason game. Basically a nationally televised scrimmage between two lucky teams who got an extra chance to look at the bottom of thier roster. Nothing should be taken away from this game in regards to the 1st teams. Both offense and defense.

So we are doomed b/c Ej went 2 for 7, in two series in an EXTRA preseason game? 3 of those incompletions were batted passes from ej putting too much on the ball resulting In lower trajectory. This game was an extra preseason game. It was an extra opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate the bottom of the roster. If Marrone and co. We're worried about ej they would have left him in there.

No not it all. I don't think ej mailed it in at all. This game is an extra preseason game so it gives the coaches an extra opportunity to evaluate the bottom of the roster. If Marrone and company were worried ab ej they would of left him in there to shake off the cobwebs. My guess is ej knew he only had a series or two and he was trying to do too much. The 3 passes he had batted down were maybe because he was putting a little to much behind the throws, causing the ball to take a little lower trajectory. This game isn't/wasn't about ej and the first team. It's about he players that are on the bubble and the bottom of the roster. This is an Extra game for the bills. So I'm not to worried about how ej looked.
