  1. You add a lot to this board's discourse.
  2. Arguing for JP is almost as inane as arguing for Todd Collins. Both do not have a future with Buffalo. Arguing that Trent Edwards sucks is arguing that the Bills suck and will suck for the foreseeable future because the next franchise QB ain't going to be found or at least be ready for another three years. Perhaps you all are in the right, but you will simply be right about a bleak future... whoop de doo.
  3. Seriously. What kind of start could the Bills have that would allow fans not to wait for the other shoe to drop? It's one thing to expect the Bills to blow a game, especially an upset, but we cannot enjoy another good start until the playoffs are clinched. How miserable.
  4. The last problem this team has is players who believe they can make the playoffs. The problem is with management who thinks that these players and this coaching staff can make the playoffs.
  5. Good thing that he has a good track record as a starter.
  6. Hmm... I was not aware of that rule. I guess it's because kickers normally make FGs of that distance.
  7. How is the ball on the 20?
  8. He was probably smirking because it was a BS call.
  9. Yet again, the Bills need to take care of their own business first.
  10. Is anyone having problems getting WUHF in HD in Rochester?
  11. Last I checked even Binghamton shows the Bills over the Jets. Wait for that domino to fall first.
  12. I think the Jets game is a must win for divisional tiebreakers sake.
  13. Can any of you in Syracuse get WUHF over the air? I know that in Ithaca I could sort of get some of the Rochester stations.
  14. I feel like Baltimore is the most likely to falter. I am confident that Indy will coast on in. The question will be whether the Bills can somehow overtake New England or the Jets. But you know if the Bills reach 10-6 somehow, but miss the playoffs, I cannot really complain.
  15. To be fair, it kind of would stink as a Giants fan who sees them on TV every week to tune into Fox and suddenly see the Bills-49ers instead. When I was in Ithaca during the 1990s, however, Syracuse would almost always show the Bills game no matter what. That changed -- I think -- in the late 1990s. Now they will show the Giants instead.
  16. Um, there are far more people in the metro areas than 400,000 total. In Monroe County alone there is around 1M people.
  17. IIRC with that game, the Colts were driving for another score anyway at the end of the game but pulled up because time was running out. You never know how making that kick would have changed the dynamic of the game, esp. in re: to how the team plays defense on that drive, but still.
  18. I was not saying people were saying that. Rather, I was curious whether any team had actually missed the playoffs with that record. I could not think of any. Further, it is rare for 10-6 to not be enough.
  19. I think the concern was his shoulder injury. I know the Dolphins passed on him and instead signed Culpepper much to the Bills benefit.
  20. Yes, but how often does it even come down to that? I know the Browns missed at 10-6 last year, but that's rare.
  21. 28% of making the playoffs at 10-6 seems a little low. Missing the playoffs at 10-6 is rather rare nowadays.
  22. Do I think the Bills can get 11-5? No... but the point is that until they lose that 6th game, they do not need help to get in IMO.
  23. 10-6 teams have failed to make the playoffs (see Browns last year, 49ers in the 1990s), but when -- if ever -- has a team with a 11-5 record not made the playoffs since the playoffs were expanded to 12 teams?
  24. Common games, sorry. Look at your own link.
  25. I am sorry... I thought the last TD pass was a little excessive. At least they could have brought in Losman by then. I wish I did not care, but I was pissed at the Pats' behavior on that Sunday night in 2007.
