  1. Religion is kind of stupid, so what? We are still working on the women hating, gay bashing, and general hating of everything that is different, they will get over it too if they get democracy. I don't see you hating the Orthodox christians in Russia for being the same way. Now why is that?
  2. They were an authoritarian government, of course they did that. They were also racist. Socialism is workers of the world unite, not of the nation. Nazis were about the fabled German Volk, just their people. The Democrats are the most multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-religious political party in the world. And socialism has democracy as an element. And protecting people's individual rights. Democrats are like that too. Protecting the vote. MAGA is like the Nazis trying to overturn the vote, to rip up Constitutions. You just don't understand history
  3. Don't forget the Jewish space laaers!
  4. Putin's stronger? How so? And stop sounding so friggen happy at that thought.
  5. People get accused of being pro-hamas or anti-semites for saying things like this. First casualty of war is the truth
  6. Let's send them more money! I don't think the Arab world is angry enough at us yet...
  7. What? Jews were not hated, like the Palestianians now, in many countries? Do you know any history at all? Ever hear of the Holocaust? Pogroms?
  8. The New York Times announced Friday that a writer for its magazine resigned after violating newsroom policy by signing an open letter that accused Israel of trying to “conduct genocide against the Palestinian people.” Jazmine Hughes, who joined the paper in 2015 and has won multiple national awards, was one of the most prominent names on a statement published last week by a group called Writers Against the War on Gaza. It accused Israel of targeting journalists and killing thousands of Palestinians since Oct. 7, when the Israeli government declared war on Hamas after the militant group launched a bloody attack from its base in the Gaza Strip that killed at least 1,400 people in Israel and took dozens of hostages. The death toll in Gaza since the war began is approaching 10,000. “Israel is an apartheid state, designed to privilege Jewish citizens at the expense of Palestinians, heedless of the many Jewish people, both in Israel and across the diaspora, who oppose their own conscription in an ethno-nationalist project,” read the statement, which specifically criticized a New York Times editorial that offered qualified support of Israeli reprisal attacks while imploring the country to protect Palestinian civilians. “While I respect that she has strong convictions, this was a clear violation of The Times’s policy on public protest,” magazine editor Jake Silverstein wrote in an email to staff Friday evening. “This policy, which I fully support, is an important part of our commitment to independence.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/media/2023/11/04/nyt-jazmine-hughes-resigns/
  9. Sounds like how Europe and the United States rejected Jews, so they ended up in Palestine
  10. Permanent occupation, or just a land grab then. Ok Hey, good catch! I welcome people pointing out mistakes. Others don't But they will be "destroyed" Seeing how Israel has not reimbursed Pals for land taken--or still being taken--, I guess they just have to deal with it, right?
  11. Permanent occupation of Gaza? Or just expel the Palestinians?
  12. As a former pizza delivery person I can tell you we knew the orders that didn't tip and we tried being away, busy or invisible when that order came up. Nice to see Dashers have the power to reject a delivery, Power to the people baby! https://www.washingtonpost.com/food/2023/11/03/doordash-delivery-tips-wait-time/ Tipping can be confusing these days, with various added service charges and fees. But sometimes, it comes down to a simple proposition: Not tipping at all can be a bad thing. That’s what DoorDash is telling its customers via a pilot program that it started testing this year in which customers who enter an order and choose no tip for the delivery person might have to wait longer to get their food. The company offered details this week about how the feature works, after warning messages started showing up in consumers’ apps. Some people who choose the option of a zero tip were met with a screen letting them know: “Orders with no tip might take longer to get delivered — are you sure you want to continue?” They are then given the choice to add a tip or continue without one — at their peril. Never ask what’s for dinner again. Get one quick recipe in your inbox Monday through Thursday to inspire delicious meals. The company explained that the system, which is being tested in random locations around the U.S. and Canada, is intended to create incentives against cheapskates. “As independent contractors,” the delivery workers, called Dashers, “have full freedom to accept or reject offers based on what they view as valuable and rewarding,” DoorDash spokeswoman Jenn Rosenberg said in a statement. “While the vast majority of customers do leave a tip, offers that don’t include a tip can be seen as less desirable — this impacts our entire community, leading to longer wait times for customers, orders sitting longer at merchants, and less value for Dashers.”

  14. I saw that, and you do know, that helping the dictatorship helps the people there, though in a very imperfect manner. Your second point totally misses what we were talking about, immigration. You literally changed the subject
  15. Running away from the brutal dictatorship in Venezuela would meet the criteria of asylum, right? way I see it, we either do something about Venezuela's government, or let the people in. neither are popular choices.
  16. Russia, Iran and Hamas are real good friends. trump loves Putin, even the mouth breathing Republicans should be able to see that.
