  1. I think that a trade up is probably their plan. These early trades haven't been particularly costly and the Bills may feel they stand a good chance of moving up a bit later on to get a player they really like. Hell, they could still get Devin Thomas, if he's the WR they really want.
  2. They'd better have a plan and a good bit of luck, that's for sure. I don't see a quality WR prospect falling to #41 this year, at least not one that'll actually beat out Reed or Parrish.
  3. I have a feeling that the guy they want is James Hardy. I really hope they aren't planning on taking Malcolm Kelly at 41. Too many big WRs who can't run have flopped in recent years for me to be anything but skeptical of that one.
  4. Oh well. Nice, solid, but boring as hell pick. I like it well enough. After seeing how little these trades are costing , hopefully they decided they can easily move up for a WR rather easily.
  5. Looking at what's left, this has to be a CB for NE.
  6. Ravens got the Jags 1st, two thirds and a 4th. A lot less than I expected.
  7. Nor did I, but I thought someone would actually pick him in the top 10. I expected it to be either the Pats to play OLB, or the Bengals.
  8. Not a lot, but that was the general idea I got from the interview. The possibility of trading was mentioned several times. Its the first video on the main page.
  9. After watching that interview with Russ Brandon posted on the Bills site this morning, I think they're definitely intending to move down.
  10. Probably. This is nuts, though. There's no telling what they traded away for him. Probably 1st and 2nds this year and next, I'd guess. Ouch.
  11. Jacksonville trading up. That's gotta be Derrick Harvey. They're rumored to love him.
  12. Damn stupid f'ing Saints. Here we go again. Load the Pats up with draft picks.
  13. I think it goes Harvey, McKelvin, Ellis.
  14. I want to hear the reaction by the crowd. I can imagine that there will be more than a few boos when this pick is announced.
  15. Not IMO. That said, I think he goes in the next three picks.
  16. Definitely. I'm just not sure they'll do it at 7.
  17. Guess that puts a damper on this idea a few people had of moving up from 11 into the top 5-8 picks for a 3rd round pick doesn't it?
  18. I dunno if the Pats will take a CB or not. I think they might take Derrick Harvey and put him at OLB. If that's the case, I definitely believe the Ravens will pick McKelvin.
  19. Yeah, this is a major shocker alright, considering that most everyone believed he'd go anywhere from 2nd-7th.
  20. Its hard to call a 4th overall pick a steal, but they got one. McFadden is the best player in this draft, easily better than anything the Raiders currently have at RB.
  21. He has to get past KC first and I don't think he will.
  22. Absolutely. If anything, the Ravens will trade up from their R2 spot. I expect them to take either McKelvin or a DL (Harvey?) at 8.
  23. True, but Clayton and Stovall have been complete flops. It wouldn't surprise me to see them try yet again.
  24. If the Bills pass on a WR in R1, I think that your list looks about right. I'd probably drop Malcolm Kelly and add Jordy Nelson. Looking at R2, it gets no better. The first 8 teams are all in need of WR help to some degree and I'd expect them all to strongly consider one at their respective positions. So yeah, I agree with you. If the Bills try to wait until pick 41 to get a WR in this draft, they're probably going to be **** out of luck. If they really want a quality WR prospect, they're either going to have to pick him with that first rounder or trade up from 41 into the early 20s, which will be pretty costly.
