  1. He's a long term project because you need to teach him how to work like a pro. All I want is for him to make the team and learn. The talent is in the round 2-3 range, so he's worth the time investment.
  2. I am a big Fred fan, but Marshawn is a serious RB that can take the pounding. And, BTW, he does not need a police escort to the 2nd level. He breaks tackles and he's outstanding in confined space. That's just reality.
  3. I have seen some of the worst camera work EVER this preseason. I mean ... horrible.
  4. Isn't fan short for fanatical? Just saying. The same site where I found the Tuel scouting report had this on C.J. (my guy.) http://rotobahn.com/...for-cj-spiller/ What caught my eye was the linked article from 2012. http://rotobahn.com/...he-beans-on-cj/ These guys know their Bills. They were right about Spiller and F-Jax last year. Hopefully they are right about Tuel too. And, fwiw, they are really high on Goodwin, Woods and Manuel as well. It's not JUST Bills fans. After a long run of dreck, I am really excited about these kids. Please excuse my positivity. I realize that some fans are conditioned to wait for the dropping shoe. I get it.
  5. So true, but the Bills haven't had this much talent in a long time. There's ALWAYS reason for concern, but at least there's reason for excitement too ... for a change. Speed kills and we've got it in a big way.
  6. I'll take runnin' smooth over the alternative any day of the week. Now they have to keep the momentum going and add to it.
  7. I think that's the point. He really does have some potential. Better physical tools than Kolb. If you watch the video in the article, check out the ease with which he gets some of those throws downfield. He actually has a bigger arm than you might think. http://rotobahn.com/blog/scouting-report-jeff-tuel-qb-washington-state/ Might have gotten lucky here.
  8. So wait for the results and then have an opinion? Sort of takes the fun out of it.
  9. My opinion, obviously. But it is an informed and considered opinion for what that is worth. I liked the whole draft. I'm a Gragg fan and a Goodwin fan. I liked that they moved back and got Manuel versus reaching up top. They used the extra picks well. And then to clean up that way with UDFAs. I was impressed. Just my take.
  10. We're still 0-0 ... no doubt, but the team had a great draft and it's nice to see the results. With Spiller entering his prime, the crew of Woods, Goodwin and Manuel gives us a group of skill players that could gell and stay together a long time. I'd say there's reason for excitement. To have Tuel and Rogers look so good, when we didn't even use a pick, makes it even sweeter. Who else in the league added more young skill talent since the end of last year?
  11. Yup, and Kaepernick sat for a year and a half. There's no one way to do it. Just develop the player the right way for him.
  12. He can do more than run too. http://rotobahn.com/blog/scouting-report-marquise-goodwin-wr-texas/ He's going to be a weapon from the slot. Things are getting better fast. Fast being the operative word. Speed everywhere.
  13. His poise is evident if you watch his college fllm too. Tuel should have been drafted. The Bills stole a solid backup for nothing.
  14. The bottom line is that he was free. When your team is killing with UDFAs, that is a really good sign.
  15. Agreed. The Bills had a great draft, including the UDFAs, obviously.
  16. How a team like the Jets or Cards didn't draft Tuel late is amazing. The guy can flat play.
  17. Agreed. If this team rights the ship on the line, the sky is the limit. So much speed in one offense. Props to new management.
  18. Much thanks for the heads up. I'm just beyond pumped with this draft class.
  19. This guy can play! http://rotobahn.com/blog/scouting-report-jeff-tuel-qb-washington-state/ Go Bills!
  20. When the guy next to you is working hard, it has an effect. It's human nature. Mallett is a big talent with a reputation for a shaky work ethics. Tebow and Brady provide him with two examples of how to work. Maybe it's nothing, but neither you nor I know what goes on inside the Pats' complex. Hard work is contagious.
  21. The is a smart move by New England. They just added a talented player at no cost. But they also just took a lot of media focus off of Danny Amendola, Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce. They also created some competition behind Brady. Ryan Mallett will be pushed and that's a good thing for them. Say what you want about Tebow, but the guy works his tail off. He'll fit right in with Brady.
  22. He is a good kid, but he's also a really good football player. Two good videos with this scouting report. http://rotobahn.com/blog/scouting-report-marquise-goodwin-wr-texas/ I love what the Bills are doing in terms of getting really fast and athletic on offense.
  23. So glad to hear that things are going good so far. I met Jim in 2000 and he was as cool as they come. He wasn't too busy to talk to a few fans. A good man. Feel better, Mr. Kelly.
