  1. I hope not. That would work out to 32 total killings.
  2. Not sure he's even proven that, since it's pretty subjective, but his upside, to me, is a lot higher than the other 2013 propects because of his physicality. I also think a lot of the critics are overboard and nitpicky. I see the fact that he can still get better as a positive.
  3. I like the idea of that team concept. The effect of the totality of speed. What team can matchup when it's all on the field? Interesting.
  4. I was perusing this site after finding a good Jeff Tuel scouting report there and found this. I like his take on our draft. http://rotobahn.com/blog/why-i-loved-the-bills-draft/
  5. Sure, I just think they have enough skill on offense to work around the issue if there are injuries.
  6. I suppose it could be, but Chandler should get back and I think this guy underestimates Chris Gragg as a talent. Besides, they can always use a extra tackle for extra protection in a pinch. There's plenty of receiving talent on hand. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/62653/bills-depth-at-tight-end-a-potential-issue
  7. Nah. Look where the CB is when he throws it. Plus, Rogers had the body to keep the CB away from the ball. Good throw.
  8. Hopefully we trade him to Miami for a 2nd rounder like Philly did.
  9. Some solid stuff here... http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Joe-Cool-Tuel-looks-to-add-to-his-game/c44a7a23-965e-4258-b651-6c2c5c41d96b
  10. The excitement might be over the top, but the kid has talent and he played well. We've waited a long tme for a single QB capable of playing at a high level and now we MAY have two. Gotta smile.
  11. I like that he has some toughness to him. Marquise will take a hit. He'll deliver one to.
  12. Agreed. This is a player with nice potential. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the reps against the Vikings this week. Kolb's probably wishing he signed with the Jets right about now. He could take that job.
  13. Watch his QB in those two videos. Right there you have some explanation as to why passing stats were limited. He was also a 2-sport guy. Goodwin may not end up being a high volume receiver, but he has the potential to be a huge component in terms of how the Bills want to defeat defenses. The Bills are putting together a nice BLEND of talent on offense. It all fits together. It's going to work if they coach it right. Get excited. Gonna be a fun year watching it all develop. I can't wait!
  14. "We spent a lot of time on him," Marrone said. "It wasn't just like, 'hey, let's just sign any kid.' Even when he wasn't getting reps I kept saying, 'We feel good about this kid, he's a good quarterback.' And he's gone out and played extremely well."
  15. PFF likes Tuel too... https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/08/12/refo-bills-at-colts-preseason-week-1/
  16. Have you seen him play? http://rotobahn.com/...odwin-wr-texas/ (2 good vids in there) He's got a lot of ability and he's been a busy kid. He won the Campbell Trophy, which means he is as smart as he is fast (ok, maybe not THAT smart) and he is now going to dedicate all his time to one sport. He was easily worth a 3rd rounder if he can stay healthy. He's already a better receiver than Hall or Hester. If you want to worry about Goodwin, the issue, if there is one, will be concussions. Speed kills.
  17. Not really. You have other priorities and you just took a QB high. I am a big fan of Tuel, but he's still a prospect. They got talented guys like Gragg late. Seems to me that they played it right and landed more quality after the draft was over. This was a deep draft.
  18. People are going to love Marquise Goodwin as a WR too.
  19. Maybe, but Tuel has a better physical skill set than those backups. It doesn't mean he'll get it done from the neck up, but the raw materials are very solid. We'll obviously learn more in the coming weeks.
  20. It sounds nice, but reality says that a new regime will not let an undrafted rookie bump their number one pick. Only if their hand is forced by Manuel coughing up the job and I don't think he does that.
  21. It's hard to see that as a good scenario, but if Tuel ends up being the real deal, it does take a lot of the risk out of the picture as far as the position goes. It's a QB-driven league afer all. If both play well then you have a potential power move at the 2014 draft. That's the hope I have.
  22. Hey, he's going to get more time. Our concerns about level of comp will be adressed soon enough. Tuel's bound to have a growth curve, but the point is that he has the capability to get it done. That's a nice place to start from. Looking forward to the next game ... for all of the rookies, but especially the 2 QBs.
