Maybe. The NFL is doing everything they can to make the Jets look relevant.
How so?

Yes. 100% Yes.
The pittance we are spending on our 3 RBs allows us to allocate money to the true skill positions (i.e. Miller, Diggs). We also have built in redundancy in case one of our RB's gets injured. When your star RB on a ~$60M contract goes down - and they often due, your season is essentially over.
If Singletary goes down, we don't have a suitable replacement. It would be a significant loss.

Gurley would have been a top 3 pick if not for his knees coming out of college. He was an elite back but I think everyone knew he wasn't going to be around for long.

Definitely not unique to Bills fans, but unfortunately, the general perception of the Bills fanbase is that we're all inebriated table jumpers who drink champagne out of ass cracks and trade Kiko Alonso jerseys for BJs.
How many Kiko jerseys are hanging in your closet?

A lot to give up, but this would have increased our chances of a Super Bowl significantly. Would winning a Super Bowl be worth trading those draft picks. I think so. Teams rarely win one Championship, let alone multiple ones. I'll take one.

This is worth the price of admission alone.
Thanks for doing all that. Most people thought Saffold was a waste the first few games so he either got better last game or a lot of folks were really wrong in their estimation of him.
Remember he missed most of the offseason and a part of training camp after getting hurt in a car accident. Might have taken a few weeks of game action to get back into things.

Nashville Metro - 2.0MM people
Western NY - 2.8MM people
That's not even counting the Canadian side.
And the Bills have had to all but pull teeth to get funding for their 50 yr old replacement stadium.
NYC can go suck it.
Buffalo Metro is under 900K. Apples to apples.
The Bills asked for a lot of money and received it pretty stress free.
Not sure what NYC has to do with all this.

He had a very good final season with us a couple years ago. He's a solid player.

I haven't been happy with our RB usage, Singletary should play more and we saw why yesterday. Also, no creativity in the redzone or short yardage, Daboll seemed to often catch the defense off guard for big plays. He's still learning, but I was happy he stuck with Singletary much of the Chiefs game.
-
He's distracted too much by interests outside of football. His head isn't 100% football and that's bad. Look at Brady this season, he's got too much going on outside of the team, and it might be affecting his play too.
Just now, BeastMaster said:I think Rodgers might not believe in this teams vision when it comes to roster construction, and how to build a winner.
They have taken away from his weapons, and drafted his apparent replacement years before they should have.
I would've asked to be traded long ago if I was him
I'm surprised he signed the extension, except for the fact that it's $150 million. He's checked out already.

I read somewhere else that a lateral ankle sprain is 1-2 weeks out. We'll see.

such a great game , 2 great QB's and Allen making so many clutch plays. Can't imagine being a team with a lousy QB. This was so much fun. These are the 2 best teams in the league by far.

Don’t you know we should never ask about this? In particular, if you ask any of your friends or other Bills fans in person, you should immediately be scolded and shamed because you are inquiring about someone’s health that you are concerned about.I mean, how dare anyone?
are you actually expecting someone on this site to know her current health status? and if so, that they would post it here? You can ask all you want, but don't think that you deserve an answer.

Lot of crappy teams in the NFL, every schedule is littered with them. Look at some of our opponents.

Dane and Kaiir once again came up big and showed Tre that he does not need to rush back. When he comes back, this team will need him healthy and ready for a good long playoff run.
What makes you think they would rush him back?

Who knew at the time that he didn't have a gun or that the purple smoke wasn't sarin gas or that he didn't have a bomb. It's more than just trespassing on a football field. ******** like that need to be dealt with and a slap on the wrist or small fine doesn't cut it.
I don't condone running on the field, but you can't charge someone for 'possibly' possessing sarin gas or a bomb. That's not how it works. He didn't have either.
The fact is, all he did was interrupt a football game by running onto the field. That's not something you should go to prison for.

The part that I think is awful is what happens to the guy that ran on the field. I can't remember which show I was watching (might have been McAfee) but apparently the only punishment is a $250 fine. That's all. Not banned from the stadium, no jail time. Just a fine and allowed to come back next week and do the same crap again.
Not sure why the NFL doesn't have a say in what happens to the people that run out on the field and do these stupid things.
I doubt that private businesses anywhere are allowed to set punishment for crimes. That's what the legal system is for.

After this moron loses his case, the judge should order him to pay court costs for a frivolous lawsuit, while he's spending some time behind bars.
running onto a football field deserves jail time? Seriously?

Out of curiosity for those of you who have really zoned in on his play, why aren't teams targeting him?
Is he getting a lot of safety help his way?
Or is he truly just shutting people down with blanket coverage ?
Regardless, extremely impressive, but I just find it odd teams aren't challenging a rookie more.
I think our defensive line is making everyone on defense better. They are not letting teams run and they are getting pressure and sacks consistently. The back 7 get to do their jobs without unreasonable expectations of long periods of time needed to cover a receiver. I have no doubt he's playing very well, but the line play and the scheme design by Frazier are exceptional.

Agree. He doesn't need to practice to get into shape. He is allowed to do that now while on PUP. He can work out. He isn't allowed to do any football stuff. But as you say, vet, been in the system 5 years.... while you may want to have him on a pitch count the first couple of weeks to let him get used to the exertions of a football game the idea that he needs 2 or 3 weeks of practice before he can get on the field is for the birds I think.
Anyone know when we find out? Is it today or tomorrow that they can activate him? I repeat what I said last week... if he is not activated this week then there has been a setback we have not been told about.
More likely a snap count. LOL

Is anyone else observing the trend of Dolphins fans doubling down on Tua being “fine” during the Bills game?
All over Twitter, all I see is an “us vs them” mentality from Dolphins fans and it’s really embarrassing to watch.
Objectively, all of our hearts and minds should be with Tua and nothing else.
Is this a normal reaction? I feel like if Josh (god forbid) had a similar situation we would be angry at THE BILLS for allowing him to play… not mad at everyone else.
What am I missing here?
Yeah, ,Buffalo never has an us vs them mentality.

Why don't the Dolphins fans support our charities after all the injuries we suffered last week against them? Or the Tennessee fans after the Dane Jackson injury?
Donating to charity isn't a contest. You do it because you feel strongly about some cause and want to help.

maybe they do donate, but don't brag about it like so many bills fans.

Should the NFL just 'stoke the fire' for 1-5 teams? Sometimes Bills fans are absolutely ridiculous.
