I remember the first couple years of josh. They always said he had ice in his veins and nothing seemed to faze him. I kinda miss that josh. That in my opinion is the difference between him and the Qb that I will not speak of here. Josh needs that back. Maybe it's Diggs barking at him, maybe it's the coaches always telling him to slide and be careful idk but he gets fazed often enough

I think the fact his line often gave him maybe less than 1 second to throw probably has had an effect on him.

Could very well be. However with his off field endeavors, I could honestly see him turning down an active spot with another team to stay here and get that underway and running. Hence the "wink and nod" where if there is a roster spot needed he's one to get put on PS with the mutual understanding that he's staying local.

So the Bills will sign him to a $1.3 million dollar contract and he'll turn down an opportunity to play? That makes no sense and goes against everything he said upon signing.  Are you just making stuff up?

Makes sense. The only 2 times he has been hurt in his career have been getting hit in the pocket.

I think if you do an injury comparison, the vast majority of QBs get hurt on hits in the pocket.

Murray tore an ACL while running out of the pocket...Tannehill tore an ACL while running out of bounds, but most injuries are from in the pocket hits.

I'd be willing to bet that he's sustained injuries on runs as well, just played through them.

With Kincaid as OUR first round TE, I thought it would be useful to draw a historic comparison with the production that other first round TE's have made their rookie seasons.

    Kyle Pitts - 68 rec 1026 yards 1 TD

    TJ Hockenson - 32 rec 367 yards 2 TD

Noah Fant 40 rec 562 yards 3 TD

Hayden Hurst 13 rec 163 yards 1 TD

OJ Howard 26 rec 432 yards 6 TD

Evan Engram 64 rec 722 yards 6 TD

David Njoku 32 rec 386 yards 4 TD

Eric Ebron 25 rec 248 yards 1 TD

Tyler Eifert 39 rec 445 yards 2 TD

At first glance, woof. Obviously the 2 notable productive TE's, Engram and Pitts stand out.  But both were heavily targeted, 115 for Engram and 110 for Pitts. When looking at the Bills offense, Knox (who will likely remain TE1) has averaged ~57 targets per year.  Assuming Diggs/Davis/Knox are receiving the lion's share of targets again (which they should be), what do you all think is a reasonable expectation for the rookie next year?

I would be pleasantly surprised with a 40 catch 400 yard couple TD season.  I am expecting closer to 30-300.

Obviously rooting for him to be Travis Kelce/Mark Andrews/George Kittle born again as a rookie. But the history of the position doesn't support that being the case.

These obviously mean nothing in regards to Kincaid. Plus he is moving into a very pass happy offense with an MVP caliber QB. I don't know what to expect, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a big impact on the offense.

Keep reading everywhere " if he can stay healthy". That doesn't make me all warm and fuzzy.

really though, it's a brilliant analysis.  If Allen stays healthy, we have a chance to win some games.  If Miller and Tre and Hyde and Poyer stay healthy...

I agree.  The Jets bringing in Rodgers is essentially a rental that is going to cost them gobs of money and draft capital.  It is the ultimate win now move by a GM and coach desperate to save their jobs.

Their jobs shouldn't be in danger, other than QB, and that's big, they've built a high quality roster. Rodgers will be a huge get for them and he will sign by tomorrow, I'm pretty certain of that.

According to what data? He plays aggressively and gets burned a fair amount. He’s a good corner but certainly “shut down”.. no corners are.

Probably much better than any CB we have on the roster. No Bills fan will ever say anything positive about the Dolphins, but unless we make some major upgrades, they will be favored to win by many and if the Jets get Rodgers, they will also.

May be a good coach but not sure Denver is the breeding ground for good WR coaches. They have done nothing in his 5 years there. Jeudy has been a disappointment.

With Drew Lock, and a not very good Russ Wilson. But when Wilson played better near the end of the season, Jeudy was excellent.

Why wouldn't those factors be prevalent every year though?

There's something going on that is unique to this year, obviously.

Maybe people think it will be a bad matchup, or they don't like the location of the game, or...

Are you sure it doesn't happen every year.  I don't know.

But prices usually go down as an event approaches.

By today, most people have already decided on going or not.

In this economy people aren’t going to pay those ticket prices just for a football game much less the other expenses a trip to Phoenix is going to cost. You're talking a family of 4…with all the other amenities probably paying 20,000 dollars minimum.

You can 10 of that and goto Hawaii for the week and your kids and wife will be happier anyway.

People are paying a lot to go.  Hotels are booked,  golf courses are booked... the economy is just fine out here.

I work at a very high end golf course,  we are charging an awful lot this week and we are booked solid.

Maybe it’s because, I’m just surmising, that Chiefs and Eagle fans don’t travel like other teams fans do.

More likely that most people don't want to pay $6500 for a crappy seat, and get gouged at hotel rooms, restaurants, golf courses.... I live in AZ, the pricing at some of these places this week is outrageous. The Phoenix Open is also going on this week so it's really nuts right now.

Sounded like a plane was falling out of the sky. Never heard that noise before an earthquake. Like in movies when bombs or a plane is gonna crash. I thought a plane crashed into my house. I grabbed my med kit and shotgun and ran outside in my underwear. Was prepping myself for what horrors I was gonna see when I got outside.  Could hear my neighbors screaming. The people driving down hertel prob thought I was nuts.

Were you going to shoot the survivors of the plane crash?
