So,just move Bates to the bench? Seems kind of expensive depth but would create lots of insurance in case Morse gets hurt.

It depends to some extent on how much the Titans want to accomodate Henry's desire to be on a contender. If the Bills traded their 2nd and Oliver for Henry, that would be on the low end of the ball park of what the titans are looking for. That leaves the first round pick available to help on the online. Its a stretch, but that would seem to be the narrow road.
I personally would give them Oliver,or the pick, not both.
My Oliver fantasy trade is send him back to Houston for their two 3rd round picks.

I’m hearing the Titans want a 2nd and a day 3 Pk for Henry and the Cards want a 3rd and something else for Hopkins. We have the picks necessary to get this done the question is would u do it? I know the cap will be an issue but there’s ways to Redo there deals and we can get Oliver and his 11mil off the books.
Making these deals would make our offense unstoppable force just imagine Allen , Diggs, Hopkins, Harty , Davis & Knox in the passing game and King Henry and Cook in the running game . This would absolutely take the league by storm . Defensive coordinators around the league would definitely not be sleeping much trying to prepare for this onslaught.
The Defense would definitely take a step back but we still have the majority of our secondary intact with Tre getting back to health and a 2nd yr for Elam they still have top ten talent especially when Von returns . McD would have to put on a coaching clinic but I think they will be good enough with this offense to win the Super Bowl. This is a KC style approach with offense being top heavy and a defense that’s just good enough.
Some will say there’s not enough plays for everyone on offense to succeed I believe there will be . The Bills have averaged 67 plays per game the last 2yrs these additions would put that over 75 . Which means u can still throw the ball 35/45 times per game and run it another 30 or so . Henry can get his 18/22 touches Cooks gets 8 . In the passing game u still can get Hopkins and Diggs there 10 targets each and the rest of the guys don’t need to be feed Harty, Davis & Knox can share the rest of the targets as well as a few a game to the running bks.
I wish we can pull this off it’s the ultimate all in scenario and with this draft being weak and the fact is McBeane is underwhelming in drafting in the 2nd and 3rd anyways makes this that more enticing. If we did something like this and stay healthy we’re winning the Super Bowl!
So...you want to give up 4 of your 6 picks? Gonna fill the other roster holes with undrafted rookies?
Good luck raising the 30 million to pay these guys : and as much as you think you can equitably share the targets,I cant wait to see how you handle a pissed-off Diggs.
Hopkins,by the way, seems to be lobbying for a trade to Dallas.
And,Oliver's salary is guaranteed ,good luck trading him.

he is a rookie on a $10m contract this year as a rookie.
None of his salary is guaranteed.
Trade him or resign him for how much???
Wrong again. Once the option is ,exercised, salary becomes guaranteed.

Im not so worried about cap space.....after the McKenzie update, the Bills are smack dab in the middle of the NFL with $10 million cap space counting "all" and $17million for "top 51".
Beane could still sign a couple useful free agents: Bobby Wagner? Dalton Schultze? Zeke? There are several contracts that could possibly be restructured: Dawkins, Knox, White ...

Looking at the big picture there is a few guys I would still target;
I would love to see Isaiah Wynn come in and stay healthy. He was great in the run game in NE when healthy. Can play both left and right side.Leonard Floyd - 33 tackles, 22 Asst and 9 Sacks last season. - What is his price at this point ?
Dalton Risner - Played over 967 snaps , stayed healthy, only allowed 3 sacks and one penalty - One bright spot in Denver on a terrible line.TE- Schultz, Hooper or Mike Gesicki - 2 year deal max.
I'd like to draft LB, OL, CB, WR and not in that order....
Risner? Bills just signed McGovern; are you benching Bates? I think a tackle might be more important

If he intends to, then Beane has to expect it in order to manage the roster and cap accurately. Expect it until they hear otherwise at this point.
No,Beane seems patient and will wait for medical clearance . Just read the article; article doesn't use the word "expected".

Not "expected", yet. Says it is his INTENTION pending medical appointments

I liked Mattison and surprised at how much Vikes gave him

Resign Special Teams/Cheap Backup Process Guys: Check
Resign Poyer: Surprising Check
Sign an average OL: Check
Sign a cheap backup QB: Check
To Sign List
Bobby Wagner, LB
Trade for Jeudy or M Evans
Wish List
Seamulo or Risner
For me, A successful free agency has to include at least one of the 5 players mentioned from the To Sign or Wish List to get the 2nd receiver, a stronger OL, or a MLB before the draft.
I dont think Bills can come close to affording all 3 on your wish list

Hines is a returner, not a gunner.

Keep in mind Edmunds was rather unique. A 'middle " linebacker in a 2 LB set. Had to do it all and was a huge , athletic guy.
-
McGovern, because he is expected to start. If Kyle Allen has to start a game or two,and does well.. I could change my vote.
-
I like this. Josh no longer needs a "mentor". They can share a jersey.

I'm guess we see Lavonte David today & a Poyer resigning. Then this evening after dinner we see a block buster trade for a WR say around 7:30 - 8 o'clock
By "block buster" you mean give up resources, either players or draft picks, which could be counter- productive. I don't expect any trades except maybe Oliver. I might try to send him back to Houston for BOTH of their #3 picks

Draft is like 2.2 million
2.2. will just abut pay for your first- round pick. Estimated total for all picks is 7,8 million.

I’m not expecting a big move. I’m expecting a few mid level signings in the next few days
This is kind of what I expected. Maybe a RT, RB, LB and /or S.

Big splash is coming. We deserve it, we are one piece on offense from winning a super bowl.
How much cap space do they have now? Still need enough to sign their draft picks
Does this deserve two separate threads?

It means our owner is very rich, the salary cap isn't very real, and we are going to load up (I hope)
No, it doesn't mean the owner is rich. It means Diggs' contract had some wiggle room and he is a team player. I hope they can restructure a couple more; maybe Dawkins ,Morse,White,Knox...?

This team has been so close the last two years. Yes, I want playoff continuity, but its Championship or bust right now. This is the window or in Mandalorin..."This is the way..."
Restructure the other players and go "all-in." I am not saying sign one player for 20 million a year. Get another guard like Seamulo or Risner, sign RB Williams, trade for Mike Evans for a year or whomever the Bills believe fits that #2 role, and then find a mid-level player for LB and Safety and then grab a Nason Rudolph or Kyle Allen type to be a backup.
The Bills are not moving forward when Dorsey is still the OC and resigning Cam "Eternal Practice Squad" Lewis and Tyler "I love playing 5% of a snaps" Mataveich are considered our free agent moves.
These are stability and continuity moves. These are comfortable moves. Time to go "all-in."
I dont think the Bills can create the cap space you are fantasizing about

Going to get a backup QB in the draft.
I hope not but I also don't want another older, washed up "mentor". I like Brissett and Marietta because they are mobile, like Josh.

You do realize they have 31 players that they need to sign right? Chill
Those won't all count against the cap nly the top 51/53.

Get this guy.
Get Poyer back at 7 mill per.
Draft safeties WRs and IOLs.
Fortify oline depth.
Swing a trade for a WR.
Done.
Why would Poyer come back for LESS money,7 million, when some safeties will get twice that?

David is a 3x All-Pro. Pair him with Milano
sign or draft a massive DT to play next to DaQuan and let them wreak havoc
Believe he’s had accurate Bills info in the past
And what would you do with Oliver? At 10 million per year he won't sit on the bench

So you won't trade for a WR but would trade for Henry? That's still 10 million bucks.
No way do I dare sign OBJ.
You make a number of assumptions regarding trades; they are nice fantasies but what are the odds?
I wouldn't mind trading Oliver for a decent return ,there's 10,11 million of cap space for a WR or RB.
Why not Fournette?
