Just saw this on twitter. If this is what he is really what he is asking for and we are unwilling to pay it then this is inexcusable. We are treating this like he is asking for $80 million. He was just released by the Ravens. He was considered as the best FB in the NFL just a year or two ago. A great blocking fullback. We should take a look at him

Maybe "worried" wasn't the right word to use. But I think u all know what I'm getting at

Everyone has pointed out how he is undrafted, I understand that. The reason I even brought it up is because he was viewed by many scouts as a 1st or 2nd round talent and everyone was surprised he wasn't drafted. My point is everybody else on offense through the first 3 days of camp have been all over the field doing something. He hasn't done anything. By the way scouts were talking and the way he has been hyped up, this should be a walk in the park for him especially being compared to Eric Moulds by one of our scouts. Again, I understand he was undrafted and if he was said to be an undrafted free agent because of not being that talented predraft then we wouldnt even be having this conversation but he was said by some to be the best receiver in the draft. Now am I worried if Kaufman wasnt making any plays...no because he wasnt suppose to be drafted so u can make the argument "Am I worried about our udfa receiver not doing anything...no". But a guy who was touted to be a 2nd round pick you can make that argument.

I dont understand whats so hard about this Byrd contract. There was a thing posted the other day about what the figures of his contract would look like and it came up with 5 years 45 million with 20 million guaranteed. I dont understand why that is so hard. Its like were making it out to be an 80 million dollar contract which i highly doubt its anything close to that high. He is a top 2 or 3 safety in this league just pay him

This guy was on NFL Total Access a few days ago saying that he just wants to play some football and would be willing to come to a rebuilding team to do so if needed. Should we take a chance? I don't expect him to come too cheap and obviously he is older but if this guy would be willing to do a two year deal for a reasonable price I say we should try for him.

Don't get me wrong I do think he will catch on but for everyone saying how talented this guy was and playing in the SEC in college u would think he would be doing something already but he is the only WR that seems not be catching on right now

I know its only the second day of practice with the rookies but a lot of people on offense seem to be making a lot of plays like Marquise Goodwin, Robert Woods and Even Brandon Kaufman has been mentioned making plays. Rogers was reported as having an up and down day yesterday as he couldn't seem to get down some change of direction drills and dropped a few balls and then today not a single mention of him doing anything. If he is that talented to where a lot of teams even said he was a first or second round talent why is he having so much trouble early on when everyone else seems to be grasping things just fine. What does everybody think this guy's chance of starting this year is with Chandler possibly not being ready?

I still don't know if 3-13 would be bad enough for Jadaveon Clowney next year. We may have to try for 2-14 at best.That Jags game is gonna be huge for the first pick in the draft next year

That's why I said we should have just waited one more year for a quarterback. I know it was our biggest need and people have been craving that franchise quarterback for a long time but we could have rode it out with Kolb for one season and we could have had a shot at a better qb next year instead of reaching on any quarterback in this draft. I hope EJ pans out because like you said if he doesnt Marrone will be fired along with probably everyone else 3 years from now

I said before, there is nothing to gain by playing Kolb for a few games. If they have plans of sitting EJ for an entire year then I think it makes sense but if u have plans of starting Kolb for 5-6 games then letting EJ take over then it doesn't make any sense you mine as well just start EJ to begin with.

Just curious on which one of these guys that everyone thinks was the bigger bust. I think its actually very hard to say

We don't have anything to gain by starting Kolb for half a season so why even do it. Give EJ the keys to the car and let him drive it. The nfl is changing. I believe the days of first round quarterbacks sitting for any amount of time are over and its not like we have a horrible offensive line so we arent going to need to worry about him taking a beating early.

I think if the asking price is anywhere between 8-10 million you pay him there is nothing to think about. Get it done. If the asking price is more than 10 million then I say put him on the trade block and see what you can get for him.

I don't understand what we have to think about here. Byrd is a top 3 safety, may quite possibly be the best safety in the league. If he wants 8-9 million a year pay it to him. There really shouldnt be much to negotiate. We try to low ball every good player we have. Byrd is well worth the money and he will get that on the open market from somebody. You can't say ur gonna build through the draft and then not resign our good players when their rookie contracts expire. He is a game changing player. Get it done

What about Kellen Winslow? I know he is a little older and had character issue but I believe he is the best tight end left available in free agency right now. He also had like 75 catches just two years ago with the Buccaneers so he can still be productive

I was all for getting another receiver but they should have drafted Da'Rick Rodgers or Ryan Swope. Both of these picks would have made a lot more sense

The two guys I want are Hunter and Ertz. Got the qb now we need to build around him. Ertz never came in for a pre draft visit though so I dont think were taking him
