  1. I've been a Bills Fan for 32 years. And yes I believe that RW does not care about winning. He cares about filling seats in the stadium. Look I applaude Wilson he chose to keep the Bills in Buffalo when he could have made more money elsewhere. He owns the Bills to make money.
  2. You missed the point of my post... I'm just trying to point out that Ralph has different motives then the Fans do. In fact I would say that ALL owner have the same motive. Which is make money. The fact they run a football team is accidental.
  3. Define a new topic? Is there anything Bills related that we have not discussed over and over? Ok - We can talk about who the Bills might draft or I could throw together a Mock draft that would be new - Oh WAIT that has been done befor too.
  4. Wilson has been criticized by the Buffalo fan base for not doing what is necessary to win a championship. Not spending money to hire top tier coaches, not signing top level FA. Letting good talent leave and so on… The fans who have followed this team for years would argue that the lack of playoff appearances no Superbowl wins equates to the team franchise being miss-handled and a failure. I believe that Wilson does not care if the Bills go to the playoffs. To him this is a business and that means fielding a team that has the lowest operating cost and will be entertaining enough to fill the stadium. Which is EXACTLY what has happened. Hiring a Marketing expert to help with football decisions is logical. Wilson has run this team very well from a profit standpoint. His strategy has the lowest risk to his profit margin. After all, spending a lot on FA’s does not equate to a winning season. (example – Washington) There is no reason to believe that Wilson will change this pattern of behavior – In fact, I believe that, as Wilson prepares for his heavenly reward) this trend will get worse. He will spend the bare minimum and maximize his profits so his family will cash in when the team is sold.
  5. This behavior is normal. I'm a father of a 5 year old girl. She did the same exact thing. We even ask our Doctor about it. She said that there is a saying. If you start potty training at the age of 2 they will be completly trained when they 4. If you start training when they are 3 they will be completly trained when they are 4. I felt like our daughter was the last of our friends to be potty trained. It turns out that most parents are fudging the facts about what they consider potty training. We had friends that announced that their son (age 3) was potty trained. I remember thinking OMG our daughter is developmentaly behind! Turns out the those parents consider 2-3 accidents and sleeping with a pullup to be potty trained. The really important thing is to not make it a power struggle. Setbacks happen depending on the mood of your daughter - There is a really good video that you and your daughter can watch call "Potty Power" It helps reinforce the message of listening to your body and other stuff... Find a good book about potty training - and read it to her every night. From personal experience I can tell you that a light bulb will go off for your daughter... and she will become potty trained almost over night. Keep up the praise. Try not to get mad when accidents happen. Good luck Nick
  6. Hi Tim, If the Bills start off slow next year, (lets say 1-4) How succure is Dick Jauron's job? And who is lurking in the shadows that might fill the HC job if he is fired? Thanks. I'll hang up and take yout answer off the air. Nick
  7. LOL I'm not panicking. I just what the Bills to be better. And I want them better now! (on paper at least)
  8. Yes I do. And i will continue to believe that until they start bring in some of these players. What makes your think otherwise? I am normally not this negative about the Bills, but like Ralph said at the end of last season, "We don't have the talent to compete." That was true then, and it is still true. And waiting until Wednesday might mean that the best LB might be gone. Or the best DL (that is left). Come on the Front Office of the Bills (threeheaded monster) should be able to multitask.
  9. We need to be a top 10 D if we plan on beating any of the teams in our division. Yes improve the offense... No argument there. We need to get meaner and faster at DE LB and S and teh draft wont do it all
  10. The Bills need to make up grades on D. I just hope that they will not wait and think they can fix all the problems with rookies. I would like to see the Bills upgrade the LB and add depth at S positions in FA. Then they can choose which position to gamble on in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Then they could go with DE (1st) and TE (2nd)
  11. Hi Everyone, Laura Paulus Born 2/25 8lbs 20 1/4 inches. Both baby and mother are doing great. Now back to the CHOAS that is my new family. Nick
  12. I agree. RW said we did not have the talent last year. If Coles signs, then the over all talent on the team gets better. I think the same can be said with the two cuts that were made. - We got better by subtraction. (Royal - poor decisions during games - staying in bounds during a two minute drive and Dockery - playing lke a turnstile) Signing younger and driven players is has more of an upside then the player that they replace.
  13. The only exception to this was Lynch's running in the forth quarter. He seemed to say I will get my yardage with or without blocking. I hate to say it, but the majority of this team is playing for a paycheck and is just as happy win or lose. The brain trust should start drafting people who are mean and nasty and hate to lose.
  14. DOGS are you f'ing kidding me? That kind of money could have been used to cure MS, Cancer, Etc. (or develop warp drive) She could have made a huge difference to human kind and she gives it to a domesticated animal who 99% of live like kings. What a dumba$$.
  15. Just found out that our 3rd child is on the way. New Bills fan is due to arrive in February
  16. Signed it... I'm sorry for your loss. Note to Mira - I miss you. I wish you were here. I tell myself that you are in a place where you no-longer have cancer, and that you are running and playing... Your family loves you always. If tears were research we would have a cure by now. Nick
