  1. As many have said, it doesn’t matter what we think it only matters what the decision makers and Tre think. Gronk would be dumb to pass up the opportunity here if offered … oh wait
  2. Pros: Excellent route runner, technician, speed, smooth, A+ hands. Leader, work ethic, mentally strong. Cons: slight frame, blocking needs work. I think he’s a star in an offense like Buffalo, LAC… where he’s not the primary target and the QB can utilize his strengths. If he goes to a team that needs a WR1 I’m not sure he’s that.
  3. He will be a better NFL TE than a college TE. They didn’t give him enough targets in that offense, too many weapons. He’s very good in the passing game and as a blocker. He even went up against George Karlaftis.
  4. Played with Diggs. Would be an upgrade at TE2.
  5. Sounds to me like he’s prepared to make an offer that is in line with where they value him but may not align with what his agent thinks he can get in the market, and that they are anticipating he could ultimately choose to sign elsewhere.
  6. Every WR in the draft knows they will eat in this offense if they are on the field with those two and Knox, and there is most likely an open opportunity at WR3
  7. Breaking: Every WR would love to play with Josh Allen
  8. Ruck is a smart kid
  9. Haack is terrible and I know he’s a good holder but it can’t be that hard to find a guy who can do both? Draft one. It’s worth the 4th or 5th rounder or whatever to get one of the better punters when you look at the impact it would have on the roster, vs a 4th or 5th at another position.
  10. It almost has to be the plan because they need to get more athletic AND cheaper at CB2. They are paying the rest of the secondary - White, Taron J, Hyde, Poyer. They need at least one on a rookie deal. And one could argue Hyde and Poyer are still underpaid.
  11. Not sure either but that’s what they are saying. His value rose by not playing for the Bears. And also alluding to what Nagy showed them this past year, apparently, makes it look like he ruined Trubisky and maybe he’s salvageable now that he’s out from under him. Imo the main thing is it’s a poor draft if you need a starter. He’s all of a sudden looking like an option whereas last year he was on the scrap heap. Like Namath said, “it’s 2am, Miss America’s not walking in that door”
