  1. So Jackson might be ready to make the jump to "the next level"? He is some unknown quantity? There is as good a chance that Fitz will take his play to the next level, as Jackson making that jump. Not gonna happen. I would rather they run the Wishbone Offense with a running QB (even with Tim Tebow, who I can't stand) than sit through another season of poor to mediocre quarterback play from the same cast of characters. They just can't put the fans of Buffalo through that AGAIN. It's too painful. I swear, my eyes are welling up with tears just thinking about another season of it.
  2. Every other Qb in this draft is gonna be compared to Flacco.
  3. It really doesn't matter, that the mug shot isn't him (it's funny, but not that important). The point is, look into the way he behaves. Tyler Bray acts like an ass, and is notorious for being immature, and I believe he will continue that behavior in the pros.
  4. Oops! The rest still applies though.
  5. I really like the way he throws the ball, but Tyler Bray is an immature fool. Maybe you don't think it will matter, or that he will grow up, but I think having millions in his pocket as a reward despite his foolishness, will do nothing for his personal development. There have been plenty of jerks that have been successful, but something tells me this guy http://florida.mugsh...-bray-mug-shot/ has more in common with Ryan Leaf, than say, Jim Kelly (a guy that had some "growing pains").
  6. This^ And throwing some "God" into it, just to rub it in.
  7. I didn't notice any migrant workers in that Ram commercial. After a few "God made(s)..." I was overcome with an urge to clean my gun, then realized I don't own one!.
  8. The Ram Truck commercial had me in tears. Really moving stuff.... trucks are important. God too.
  9. Sometimes I think the Bills just don't have a well enough connected medical/conditioning staff. That might be one of the most important ingredients for a successful NFL team.
  10. I don't know the right answer, I'm just trying to apply the same situation to activities outside of sports. I don't know what would be considered "acceptable" side effects, I listed "shaving a couple decades off a users life", is that acceptable to you? (No, I'm not claiiming that the current PED's are (or aren't) doing that). Maybe instead they would just turn you into an insufferable jerk? Anything that radically changes your body chemistry, is going to have side effects, some mental, and some physical. I am curious how PED's are utilized in the armed forces. They must be using them in the special forces (I hope so at least).
  11. Eventually this kind of thing is likely to come to a head in the non athletic workplace. How about "smart drugs" for the common man? Legal or illegal (but unofficially endorsed), expensive designer drugs that radically improve performance, only accessable to the wealthy (and desperate), that shave a couple decades off a user's life. High powered college degrees, and high paying jobs for users. And maybe lots of pressure applied to non-users, or pressure from employers/schools to increase dosage and improve performance. These, and a myriad of other implications are the kinds of decisions that face college and pro athletes.
  12. She isn't some incredible supermodel. She looks like a well preserved, middle aged woman, someone that would be attractive if she lived down the street, but not really special. I would expect more when we are talking about a hall of fame QB, with a high profile television gig, and that lives in Miami. Haven't you noticed how many attractive women there are strolling around New York City, and Miami? He's not the local high scholl basketball coach, he is a celebrity jock.
  13. Yeah, they remind me of the sore loser's here attacking Tom Brady. [quote name=RyanC883' timestamp='1359570964' post='2718323 Here is an interesting take on the topic: punish the teams for positive tests. http://triblive.com/...z#axzz2JTvUxvfH This leads to something that I can't recall anyone bringing up. If you are the NY yankees, and you have signed 10 of the top free agents over a 4 year period, all of whom are working with PED enhancement, why would you want there to be good testing? It would destroy the teams that are shelling out big bucks. There will never be a truly effective testing program implemented. Ray Lewis is a creep.
  14. Is there anyone here, that believes that a 37 year old guy can play middle linebacker in the modern NFL, without using PED's? Please show yourself.
  15. Remember when Terrell Owens had that "miracle recovery" before that Philly Super Bowl?
  16. I was only wrong that he left for more money. Not wrong about Whitner not oweing them anything. Not wrong about the fact that he was going to be very wealthy regardless (any first round pick=$$$, a starter up for a 2nd contract=$$$$$$ ). And most importantly, not wrong about him having an accurate assessment of the Bill organization.
  17. Any team would have made him a rich man. I may not be right about how his contract negotiations unfolded, but he was gonna be a rich man, regardless. He owes the Bills nothing, and really you are giving the Bills more credit than they are due. You are "defending the honor" of a franchise that has been a joke for many years now. Whitner is right.
  18. That's because he had nothing to compare it to. Now he is with a well run organization... He wanted to stay, but got even more money somewhere else. He obviously made enough of a name for himself in Buffalo to get even more money somewhere else. Who has the sour grapes, you or him?
  19. He is nothing special, but at least he cares about winning. I wish a bunch of Bills would "guarantee" that the Bills would make the playoffs, during training camp. At least they would be putting something on the line. Yes, he was a bigmouth, but he had some pride at least.
  20. All true, but what is interesting about him is that he has insight into what the Bills Organization is like, and has a big enough mouth to tell everyone. Some of it is bitterness, but a lot of it is probably an accurate assesment of the Bills.
  21. I think if he did all the antics he is doing now, he would have constant death threats, and need an incredible amount of security. Of course, he would never get the kind of media coverage he receives now, were he a Muslim all this time.
  22. I'm not as easily offended as you (though your "offended" stance also seems a bit disingenuous). I just suggested that you may not have thought it through enough to realize how you would really react to that happening. So what kind of reaction do you think Ray Lewis would get if he was expressing himself for Allah, as opposed to the Christian God? Honestly...
